Nice zoo n garden Rani Baug Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Udyan, also known as the Byculla Zoo and formerly Victoria Gardens, is a zoo and botanical garden located at Byculla, commonly known as Rani Bagh, in the heart of Mumbai, India. It is the oldest public garden in Mumbai. Rani Bagh was the first grand public project undertaken by the British government after it took over the control of India from the East India Company, this botanical garden with 4,213 trees belonging to 256 species is the most-visited park: it records a footfall of 8,000 every day on an average. On holidays, this rises to 40,000.

Well maintained gardens and a lot of greenery and flowering plants, a jewel in the city. The animal habitats are new and well made. Entry is reasonable and tickets can be purchased online to avoid long lines at the counter. A lot of parking is available at ₹20/- for a four wheeler. Washrooms are available at different places on the premises. Cafe Wild has options for snacks and refreshments, it's located opposite the Hippo habitat. The new food court has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, along with a variety of snack and meal options.

Ticket price is fair enough..better visit this place before 11.30 am if u want to see all animals. Tiger n penguins was the most attractive animal to watch.few animals are not yet avail like lion wolf lepord crocodile n snakes.inside restaurant is also expensive..Vada pav is 30-40 rs ..n the photo of gauva shot u can these cost 80 rs for 2

Do not visit on weekends... overcrowded. Great place to visit with children. Entire zoo is renewed... nice changes are made. I loved bird's section. Must visit. Charges are 50/- for Adults & 100/- for family (2 adults +2 Kids)

This so best zoo all things are better I go with my college friends and so wonder .......but most animal are not look person are not properly observed but plz improve ..... And try go you …

Good amount of parking space available. 2 wheelers, 4 wheelers or even a Bus parking are also available. Obviously it's a Pay and Park not free.

The Udhyan has been well maintained with animals and garden. The penguins are a real attraction. There's drinking water facility and toilets.

Parking is ample . 2 wheeler, 4 wheeler and buses are allowed. Minimal charges . Weekend parking is full. Do visit in non- peak hours

Beautiful experience. Avoid on weekends as huge rush is there. Avoid going in afternoon as for most of the animals it's nap time.
