Love this place! Joe’s Hangout is located across from Texas Wesleyan University. They have great drink specials and the food is good too! I have enjoyed the salads, pasta dishes, and pizzas! And oh my goodness the bread knots are divine! This is the best restaurant to before a theater show or musical performance at Texas Wesleyan the location and food are perfect. There really is something for everyone.

As a Texas Wesleyan Student, I’ve had nothing but good experiences even with late night ordering at joes. The staff have been friendly and nice. I’ve gone twice and got the lasagna pizza and the Hawaiian pizza, super delicious and good slices. Played the TCU game as well as Ohio state. I love that I can now walk across and grab a couple drinks and walk back to campus as well. Perfect for college students or anyone who loves pizza. Only thing that could be improved is the alcohol ratio and pricing. I got two different prices and liquor amount on two separate occasions for the same drink.

I love ceaser salad so every new place I visit is the first thing I order. The dressing here was sweet, almost like they mixed a parmesean vinegarete with honey mustard. The chicken was way too dry and half the time I couldn't tell if I was eating a croton or chicken. However, the pizza was pretty good, service came with a smile, and the drinks were decently priced. I wouldn't choose to go back but if invited, I wouldn't mind.

Food here is good. Pizza, pasta, and salads. Food is fresh and well-prepared. There is no wait service. Good air-conditioning, pool table and video games. Typical sports bar atmosphere. No loud music playing at least during lunch.

It's not far from home and it's been good every time.

Stopped in with some co-workers after work and I got the margarita pizza slice! It was absolutely delicious. Big slice, crispy crust, the cheese is so good! Also the price for a big slice was really affordable. I decided to bring home a medium pepperoni pie. I will definitely come here on my break! There’s a bar inside, flat screens to watch sports and a mini gaming area.

The staff was nice. The iced tea was terrible. Not sure how you mess that up. The pizza was cooked well, but the ingredients were sub-par. After eating really good new York style pizza elsewhere it's hard to step down in quality. It was $12 for two slices and a bad drink. I won't go back. No disrespect, but the price was too high for mediocre food.

I’ve been waiting for this to open and I was not disappointed! Although I wasn’t hungry when I came, the food smells delicious. I instead went straight to the bar and I am amazed with the selections. This place has potential, go and tell your friends!

I was passing by this place, and decided to stop by to give it a try and it was really good! We got the Caesar Salad, Joes Pasta, Pizza by the Slice (supreme and jalapeño w/ pepperoni) which were really good! I recommend 10/10. The employees were really friendly and even asked how everything was. Drinks were on point too!

Great little neighborhood bar and Italian restaurant. Amazing stromboli and pizza. The pasta is also fabulous. Wonderful atmosphere and a lot of TVs to watch sports on. The only thing that I really don't like is that they charge too much for their bottled beer.

So glad to have something on the East Side that’s not LC, PJ, or PH!! Husband and I picked up a large pep and salad and was blown away! The flavors were fantastic, and I can’t wait to try the wings and the pastas. Welcome to the neighborhood, Joe’s!

I live 3 blocks down the street the pizza was delicious! Hate the hours. I called out of curiosity and was told had to order early because the kitchen closes at 9:30. Sometimes on weekends we get busy and eat late. However if I remember early enough will definitely try other pizzas so delicious!

NY style pizza slices are huge and tasty. They also do calzones. Wings are crispy with a good amount of meat. Bar has some nice selections. Only gripe is the Buffalo sauce on the wings wasn’t as flavorful as I would have liked. But overall, I enjoyed it and will be eating here a good bit.

Clean, Quick, Affordable, Friendly… Food is great…haven’t tried a single thing I didn’t like. The Stromboli is amazing, fried ravioli Amazing, chicken parm amazing, the bread. So happy they’re serving the east side with great food & drinks.

I’m pretty sure they microwave their pizza when they take it from the front but it was still good
