I love the prices here. The produce is very fresh, compared to other markets I have visited. For the amount I money I spent, I am very happy with my 'haul of groceries ☺. As an update, be sure to go early because it gets really busy and packed with customers. This morning I was there about 10am, and it was already getting super crowded in there! No new updates after today's visit. Still the freshest produce and sweetest oranges! The only update today are the elevated prices! The eggs were so expensive I was forced to leave them there. We are dealing with high demand and low inventory. What we can get will require more . Covid backlash..... This is still the best place to shop for this area. Update: this store is still the best place to shop price-wise, and goods wise. It has surpassed Walmart for my business! Update: Still the best discount market for all grocery needs. Thank God for an affordable market to shop for food and other goods! Thank you HEB and JoVies! Hope this store never folds! Sales galore this week, from meat to produce! Favorite place to shop!

Go early!! This location is always busy so to get the more popular items the best time to go is first thing in the morning. The store is being restocked as you shop so it's more likely they'll have what you want during that time. Can't really say much about the staff, they are busy at work all the time. No lingering or chatting so it keeps everything moving. The customers are more of an issue because they ignore the express line limits which slows done those that are trying to grab a few items and go. I think the cashiers or front end supervisor should correct them, but I guess they're just trying to give good customer service. Food quality is good, just check the expiration dates before loading your cart. Happy shopping!!

I went to location 612 N Victoria today. In the express lane was Melissa I. Cashier and she stated to me when finish ringing my items up that I had over 20 items in fact I have 27 items and the next time that I'm gonna get in another line because I'm over 20. I'm a loyal Joe V's shopper and I shop at that location every morning at 9:30a/10ish and no other cashier have never counted my items to correct me. I think it was minor for her rude attitude. I feel that it shouldn't be spoken to remind me of my count. It's not like I had 50 items and was to misuse the express lane. I will continue to shop Joe V's I been shopping there for years I didn't appreciate her approach.

Joe V is an HEB brand that carries a reduced selection with correspondingly better prices for the items that does carry. This particular store is well-staffed and the staff is pleasant. I particularly noted in the restroom an employee thoroughly washing his hands before he returned to the floor. The produce is less expensive and sometimes the tomatoes are not as pretty but they taste the same. The selection of Frozen Goods is strong but they have a limited selection of Frozen TV dinners. They finally raised the prices on the TV dinners a bit and the selection has improved some. This store is comfortable and clean.

A few items — hand soap, pancake mix, etc — are limited to only the Hills Country Farm and HEB brands. However, there is plenty of variety for most products, especially the essentials such as bread, eggs, milk, etc. It was very crowded on Monday evening (5pm), and it was hard to navigate around the store without bumping into people! You will need to bag your own groceries when checking out. Overall a great store to go to when you want HEB quality at an affordable price. But if you prefer a more peaceful, stress-free shopping experience without fighting the chaotic crowds then you should shop elsewhere.

Before covid the prices were really affordable to just about any income earner who needed some food on there table. Now since prices did increase its kinda choosey when selecting snacks. Overall we rarely come across a rude cashier. It's the people tho that be actin crazy. They have sanitizer and towels at the front. Just becareful walking in the parking lot. They be speeding through the alley.

Everyone likes this place for the price. But what you end up spending is a waste unless you plan on eating $200-300 worth of groceries within that same day or week bc everything is already going bad and about to expire they have been having the same Rotten molded oranges for 4 weeks I mention it to employees and a manager they seem to not care this place is not worth the money you spend for the food to spoil so fast They use to be way better fruits and veggies now they leave everything molded out flies all around the veggies place has gone down needs people who actually care

This is my go-to grocery store when I go restock on everything I need. When I go here I do all my grocery shopping. Their prices are fair and they usually have good deals on things that may be a little higher at other stores. They have alot of cashiers and usually have enough lanes to get people in and out, sometimes they can be long depends on when you go. You have to bag your own groceries but I honestly don't mind at all the prices make up for it. It is usually clean inside and out side. The only hassle there may be is finding a parking spot

I decided to try a different Joe V's this time and this feeling came over me that said "run Kristi run" and now I'm glad I didn't. I actually had a great time and found all kinds of interesting things. I just wished I had a balloon so that my roommate could have found me and she was ready to go lol My truck, my rules Go check this place out, the only thing I didn't like was that they really need to stock up the shelves so they can make money

I use to love shopping at Joe V's, but since I have become disabled and in a wheelchair, it is absolutely impossible to shop at this store. I was told they had a manual wheelchair with a basket....... anyways had too use my own. I was only able to care a few items, meanwhile employees and manager are walking by me . What's the point of your handicap parking. Seems like I will be contacting an attorney. This is discrimination to the disabled.

Easiest way to describe this place is a budget HEB. Owned by them already, you'll find it's much like an HEB but not as clean or as nice. And multiple items missing labels in the produce section. That was a bit annoying. The pricing seems to be very good though and they had some really cool bundle deals, like a 10+ pound box of meat stuff for only $20. They did have some items too that I've never seen at an HEB also so I'll give them that.

Brands like Hill Country & H.E.B. Freshly made sushi! 1st convenience bank. Who's gonna do your eye brows and shop for over priced bags & poppets. Bags of chicken leg quarters packed wit fat & good for crabbing. Blueberries and Strawberries almost all the time. Mexican candies & name brand. Gain soap under 2$ and toy selection changes often. My mom loves getting the gallon of cooking oil and garlic bread when its super cheap.

Beautiful Employees and Beautiful family Manager super security guard policeman he loved his two-wheel look out in the parking you got to take care of his customers. Such a very good place to go shopping but there’s a problem first of all I recommend going at night because there isn’t not a whole bunch of people but at night there aren’t many cashiers open and some item missing when it’s at night in the store while in the day there’s a variety of food and people. Also,in the day there need to be reinforced the rule of 6ft apart overall somewhat decent.

One star. Been going there for years but now I will never go again. A fat white haggard cashier named Sarah was very rude combative and used profanity to me for simply trying to buy 3 packs of eggs. She should definitely be reprimanded. I'm sure I'm not the only person who will never shop there again because of her. She seems like an overall combative and rude person in general. 5/23/23

Went to buy a jar of craft mayonnaise and couldn't find one down the aisle. But they did have about 15 pallets of it on top of the aisles. I asked if they could get one down for me and all I got was "sorry no, but you can come back tomorrow, they will bring it down tonight." Bad customer service doesn't even beging to describe what I went thru. Never coming here again!

Great Selection and Awesome Bargains on many of the same items found at other More Expensive Grocers! Associates seem Well informed, Friendly, Attentive and Helpful! There were also Multiple Express Lanes open, adequate to Efficiently accommodate the amount of patrons! The "Contact-less" Cash Pay at the Associate Attended Checkout Lanes, is also very Convenient!

Great deals on can goods and other goods needed for the holidays. Couldn't find the usual 2lb pecan bags they usually carry around the holidays this 4 stars... good deals on produce and good meat selections. Lobster tail were reasonable 13.98 for 2. Sometimes Kr.( whoops) has them for 12.00 a piece... store on shepherd and victory is always clean as well.

Horrible customer service . Hours are on Google for a reason . If you put that you close at Two , you close at Two. If you choose to close earlier simply update your Hours . I understand it's a Holiday but your running a Buisness. Imagine driving 25 mins and the store closed there Doors to enter 30 minutes early , unacceptable in my opinion .

I tried to buy wine and the manager thought I was using a fake Id this was the first time someone has said this about my state issued Id ….the employees here does not know what. Real ID looks like and then they were walking around the store with my ID as I was in a rush …… I really do not recommend this location shepherd location is better

This store was amazing, prices are on point, the customer service was excellent, the only thing that was a problem was Joe V's only have 10,000 sku and some items they just don't have. That's why I gave them 4 stars out of 5 stars. I've noticed that they have remolded the front end, but the service hasn't changed one bit........

Good store with lots of different things to choose from and the quality of there merchandise is very good from food to toys to even hygiene the only down fall would be there's always traffic here but what would you expect from such a popular place with good reviews will most definitely come again

This place is like a grocery flea market! Really nice fresh vegetables (I would say double up on the avocados from now on, though...) tons of meats and seafoods, but the prices are what surprised me the most! It was crowded but I can totally understand why! I'll be back again and again...

Clean store, friendly staff GREAT PRICES... When you're on a tight budget, this is definitely the place to shop. They've got good selection and I honestly prefer to buy my produce from here because they have a better selection and way better quality than other places around the area.

Joe V's is a knock off of HEB so their prices are a little bit lower I shop there often I like the store, one of the things I like is a pork roast great prices the prices on everything has increased a little bit because of covid water is inexpensive and there's always plenty of water

Some prices are lower than HEB the parent company. But if you are price shopping then you need to know your prices because not everything is lower than HEB. I found that the frozen shrimp and can goods are much less expensive than HEB. Overall a good experience and saved some money.

The prices are low which benefits families on a budget. About 40 to 50% of the items are not name brand. The produce is plentiful. When the fruit and vegetables are in season, expect to find these products fresh and larger than normal in size. I recommend this grocery store.

Do not buy your meat from this location! I bought one of the 20$ boxes from their market. One pack of their seasoned chicken tacos were 2 days past the sell by date, and the pack of Turkey hotdogs had a slit through the package. They should be ashamed to put this to sell

Anytime you enter a store at the opening of business and notice the store is dirty, it proves that it is not a hygienic operation. Be aware of the filth at this store location. Corporate needs to address this issue as soon as possible.

Good location selling majority of HEB brand products for cheap prices. Large parking lot. The interior is a warehouse type of layout. Plenty of cashiers makes the lines go down quickly.

Best prices in town! Canned goods/dry goods selection is a bit limited. Fast check out, safe parking lot (security was actually paying attention), Metro right at the corner.
