Very friendly and eager to help. A bit disappointed with the service of the actual bike though. My gears had no problem before service, but after taking it in the gear lever (XTR) stopped functioning perfectly. A few other things got changed and added without consulting me. (like sludge added and valve replacements which I can do myself at home with my own supplies) This all added up to quite a hefty bill. Other than that it was fairly speedy work, but maybe that's the downfall...

Great service from Willie at John O’Connor Cycles. After a fall off the bike, I took it to JoC to have the rear derailleur and hanger checked. Even though the guys were busy, Willie straightened the hanger and set the gears for me all within 30 minutes. Service at JoC is always exceptional and you leave feeling confident in the quality of work done. In addition, I left with a lot more info on how to set electronic gears. Thanks Willie.

I met John O'Connor and his Team over the last 2 weekends in Cape Town. I travelled there to visit my brother and sister who are both avid cyclists. John's Team is the best. Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They love bikes and the sport of cycling. Wonderful store with a great range of bikes, accessories and clothing. I enjoyed spending a few minutes after our rides with them and look forward to my next visit there.

Very knowledgeable bike shop that really helped me out when my frame broke last year. John had a complete bike that he let me rent for a tour. He managed to use my seat and pedals and got the bike as close as possible to my old bike. After some initial soreness the bike felt like mine. After the tour he packed up my broken frame to take back to US.

Best service and customer care ever ! Had a shot freehub and called the guys who took a look immediately and within a day had the parts , installed and I was back on the bike. For a visitor to Cape Town they could have said we are too busy but didn’t and went above and beyond. You’ve got my vote for life!!

We were greeted by name when we walked in after a year to get our tandem services. Always a great job at a very reasonable price. Cannot recommend their knowledge, skill & dedication to customer satisfaction highly enough. The GO TO place in Cape Town for help with your cycle.

This is the primo place to buy high end bikes and get those expensive bikes serviced and tuned. The staff are very knowledgeable and even helped fix my bike that they aren’t the agents for. So good vibes!!!! A bit pricey but definitely worth the quality

We popped in to the store in seapoint as my youngest son's tyre was flat. They were super willing to help, pumped the tyre, oiled the chain and fixed a brake block (which I hadn't noticed)... Took about 8 mins altogether and was free too!

A fantastic store! The staff are incredibly professional, knowledgable and helpful. I'll only be coming here for my future cycling needs. They have a huge variety of products and are competitively priced. I cannot recommend them enough.

An excellent, friendly cycle shop. I went their pre-Cape Town tour for a few minor fixes. Despite being busy they sorted my bike extremely quickly. They would be my first choice if I lived in Cape Town.
