Johnny Clean Carwash is absolutely horrible. I've been a member for two years. After 7 months I had to get my windshield replaced due to a crack not by fault of theirs however my sticker wasn't laying right anymore so they replaced the sticker. This is when the problem occurred. They charged me twice a month for a year and a half. This was not my main account so it wasn't recognized that it was two separate charges because the title was different and two completely different times of the month. Once I realized this was the same company I printed out the statement to show proof. The manager, Terrence Sheilds looked at the proof and said to me ; I'm not giving you any money back and if I didn't leave he would call the police and get me with trespassing. He, Terrence Shiels said the most he would do for me was cancel one of the accounts so that I didnt receive double charges anymore. How could that be his solution! I was furious so I called the police. Once the police got there they expressed I needed to go above him. He stated he had already talked to the owner and he was fine with his decision to cancel one account to resolve this and that was all they had to do. When he pulled my account up, to make things worse it showed they had my account tied up with someone else's account with the same last name and that's why I was double charged. Which proved their wrong even more but still was unwilling to solve this issue with me with a refund. The police officer asked him if he thought he was handling this situation right. The manager said he's not in the position to give me my refund. They walked away and went into the office. This manager gave me a receipt saying he would refund $232.35 and a cancelation of my account. Which I asked him to cancel my account. They wrongfully charged me over $500 and they refused to refund me for their mishap. This is the reason to feel very uncomfortable allowing companies like this to do auto pay. They control the narrative even when they mess up. This is not the end of this. I'm taking the police officer's advice and going to a higher force. I feel they owe me my complete refund because this was no fault of mine. Not to mention the rudeness was unbelievable.

We’ve not had the best experience with this location lately. We don’t get guided correctly in the wash that causes our cars to get jumbled with the tire puller. I have 3 memberships here and recently we noticed an oil like residue on the car after washing it. Knew it was from there thinking maybe tire shine or something is being sprayed incorrectly, we just took it through several more times. However, today my husband took his truck and the same oil residue was on there afterwards. The issue is, it’s not easy to remove and attracts dirt. After trying to bring this to the team members attention, Terrance Shields said it was oil from the truck and couldn’t be from the wash and tried to disregard it. My husband let him know this has happened before and we come through here daily.. it isn’t from his truck. Instead of helping Terrance further instigated the situation more to where it is now a confrontation between them and called the Police while trying to take a tag number. This is completely unprofessional! There isn’t a good enough reason as to why he would blame us for the residue from the wash to a point it became and issue instead of offering to run the car again through the wash, or offer to speak to a manager or even make an incident report. I spoke to Cole one of the managers who agreed, this was a coaching opportunity and shouldn’t have been handled this way. However, Terrance still called the police which is now taking time out of a busy day to wait for an unnecessary report when if he was actually doing his job instead of acting off per judgment and bias opinion we wouldn’t have this situation! When the police got there they also felt like it was a misunderstanding and could’ve been handled between management. Come to find out Terrance is a general manager.. he told the Police he thought my husband was trying to sue for damages on the car when in actuality was just letting him know about the situation and was going to take the car through until it was off! Just another example as to how there needs to be better management and coaching!

I've been a member for about a year now. I have 2 vehicles on my membership actually. Took my car for a wash yesterday and something caused the track to stop, the rollers of the vehicle in front of me went under their wheels causing my car to roll into the back of the vehicle in front of me. I could not see the cars in front of me as my car was under the brushes on the windshield. Got out of the wash spoke to the manager Sterling that was there and they advised me that it was no fault of my own, another vehicle caused the tracks safety feature to kick in to stop the track but it did not prevent my car from hitting the car in front of me and they would submit an incident report on their end but they needed the sheriff's office on scene to complete an incident report. Sheriff arrived and advised me that they were not needed as this was not a crash. The matter needs to be handled through the car wash insurance. They told me they are submitting an incident report to their headquarters and someone will get back to me. But they refused to give me any of their insurance information and the incident report is sketchy at best. I'll update this post if I hear back on what the resolution to get my car fixed is going to be if any because i dont feel i should have to go through my own insurance to get my car fixed and have my rates hiked due to their equipment messing my car up. I literally pay a monthly membership just to have my car messed up. Until then if you value your vehicle I would be careful with this place. I'm also going to run a report on the Base for Service Members to be aware of this place as they did not seem to care about me being Active Duty Military either. Hopefully they are not just another one of the typical franchise mentality businesses that definitely take your money but no responsibility or accountability for wrongs that happen on their end to make things right.

Recently moved here and saw this car wash that looked nice so we decided to give it a try. We pull up and are greeted by a nice girl who then tells us about their membership, it was pretty cheap and seemed like a good deal so we decided to go for it, sad we did now. The car wash was very mediocre, no one scrubbing the windows or back of car like at other washes. After exiting the car wash we notice that the back of the car was hardly even touched, I mean still coated in dirt and dust. As if that wasn’t enough, the vacuums were hardly working and we ended up just leaving. Exactly 16 days after this experience we decided to try another wash in our other car, when we signed up for the membership they gave us one free was for a friend. So we take the coupon and are soon disappointed to find out that it had expired two days ago… they wouldn’t allow us to use it because of this, despite already signing up for their membership program. I would understand if we had lost the coupon or if it was way out of date, but we received the coupon only 2 weeks before this and weren’t aware it was going to expire. Extremely disappointed all around and will not be returning to this wash ever again. & If you think i’m one of a few go check out their reviews on yelp, not sure who they’re paying to review on google.

Edited : updating to 4 stars. they made changes to the cleaning items from paper products to cloth and it’s a huge difference!! i love cleaning my car with the cloths now but there is still two things i have to complain about and that’s how powerful (or lack thereof sometimes) are at certain times for whatever reason and then how almost every time i go there (multiple times a week) they don’t have any upholstery cleaner !! please try to have those cans as much as the others because that stuff is life changing for my car ! thanks for the upgrades :) this place used to be so great but over the last several months it’s gone WAAAAY downhill. from the car wash being out of service on any given day, to the vacuums being shut off early, to now today - no spray bottles or wash cloths. what is going on?!?! we are cancelling our membership and gonna try out Camel up the road.

Okay so I’ve been a plus member for a while. Everything is usual okay. Two days ago I came and the washer stop working while we were inside but they got it started back up with in 5 mins. Today I am back well I’ve been sitting for about 30mins talking on the phone waiting for the towels to be replenished. After I hung up I notice nobody still haven’t replaced the towels I go inside to find two workers in the office talking. I explained there aren’t any towels in my bucket. His reponse was we have a guy folding them and he be out after a while or YOU can go find him and ask him to give you some and he continued to talk to the guy in the office. I stood in disbelief that I was being told by an employee to go look for towels. Poor customer service when in need!

This is the best place to wash your car, hands down. The customer service is top notch, the car wash is efficient and the vacuums and extra cleaning supplies really make the drive and unlimited membership worth it. I drive for Lyft part time so my mats get dirty fast; I also like to have a clean, fresh car for my passengers to ride in. I decided to give Johnny's a try this month and bought the premium membership. I come here twice a week and it's really paid off; I'm coming from across town so that's saying something. I tried the new gate express last week because I couldn't drive to Johnny's and it was defintely different. No towels, fragrance, glass cleaner available. I think I'm spoiled now! I cant wait to see Johnny's wash on the southside.

Very deceiving. I stopped by last month for a quick wash, ready to pay for it. The guy told me that for like $18 I could get free unlimited washes for 30 days. I specifically asked him, this is a special, not a membership, right? I DON'T want a monthly bill. He assured me it was just a trial run and if I wanted to sign up, to come back and let them know and THEN I would get the subscription. Today I see an almost $40 charge from you people ! That's wrong. Now I have to fight this charge and cancel this dammed thing! I want my $$ back! How the hell do I cancel this blasted service? I am not paying nearly $500 / year to wash my car, it's NOT happening! And your bait and switch, sleazy practices aren't appreciated. Bad Business!!!!

Be careful with your money, they took money out of my account in February for membership twice and I didn't realize it, on March 23 they took $32.24 from me and on March 28 again a charge of $26.86 in February they also took money twice I went to the business and I spoke to an employee of the place and he was rude to me, he told me that this was because last February I passed my car 17 times, according to what I understand, I can pass it every 24 hours if I wish. In short, they will not give me a refund of my money and they will keep He said that I could drop off my car until April 25 and that he would cancel my membership. I agreed to cancel but in the end they stole my money.

I have been a longtime customer of Johnny Clean carwash. From the staff to the vacuum station, not a thing is overlooked. My favorite team member is Stone. He is always so helpful, friendly and courteous. He always asks if the kiddos want a lollipop. They love him. I love that I can get in and out fairly quickly, and leave with a spotless clean and shining car! My grandkids love helping me wash the inside windows. I love that Johnny's provides the towels, garbage sacks, fragrance spray and window cleaner as well as a powerful vacuum on each side of my car! If you haven't tried Johnny's, what are you waiting for? They are open until 9PM.

I have the monthly membership now and it’s a convenient way to keep my car clean. The quality of the place has gone down, I don’t like the new disposable towels to clean the inside. They leave lint all over the dash and the microfiber cloths were better. Also, lately they only have the glass cleaner and fragrance and never seem to have the multi-purpose cleaner or dash cleaning product so I have to wipe the interior of my car down with glass cleaner or “fragrance.” Also if you don’t have the monthly membership, staff will harass you every time you use the car wash and make you feel dumb for not signing up for the monthly service.

Moved to arlington 2 years ago and i was getting acclimated to all the amenities this side of town had to offer. I needed a car wash to keep fresh and being a previous “zips” car wash member I knew the routine of these monthly car washes. After two years of using them i felt today was the day to leave a review. Every time I go in i leave completely satisfied. Sometimes I go in just for the motivation boost each team member gives me. I was informed to turn my radio down though but told in a professional manor. These guys are the sh!t and also the best monthly deals I’ve seen. Quality and pride in work are #1

Pros: We've been taking our cars to Johnny Clean since they opened near our house. Overall, the quality of the wash, even the economy wash, is very good. The employees are helpful and not too pushy about upgrading. Most recently, I took a rental vehicle we were photographing and had it washed after being on dusty and muddy clay roads in central Georgia. I was really impressed that the economy wash got it all off! Cons: Early on, we got a monthly membership, and that proved more difficult that it should have been to cancel, with some hidden requirements that were annoying, but the manager did make things right.

The car wash was great The only reason I give the service a two is because of the aggressive selling tactic. When someone tells you they are not interested in buying the membership you should let it go. I understand it’s their job to try to make us sell but aggressive selling is very aggravating. I told the young man over 10 times and wasted around the same amount of time 10 minutes telling him no I normally have my car washed at a different location and just wanted to quick wash but he was determined after I said no over 10 times and aggressive selling can be very aggravating when someone is already saying no

I drive Lyft and it’s really important to me that every rider I have experiences a clean car. I have the membership with Johnny Clean and had before I ever did Lyft. I realize now even more so how rewarding it is for me to have a place that I can go to to not only clean my car for work later but actually enjoy cleaning it. If I have ever had any issues each staff member was ready and available to help and were cheerful enough that I never felt like a bother. I can’t thank the staff and this business enough for making things that much easier for me. I highly recommend them.

The employees and especially the managers such as Terrence, are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! Always presenting a positive attitude and willing to assist. The car wash does a pretty good job over all regarding the cleanliness of your vehicle after going through it and the business provides vacuums, towels and various products to assist you in further cleaning your vehicle yourself if you choose to as well as shaded and unshaded areas to do so in. All in all a great place to wash and maintain your vehicles inner and outer appearance!

If i didn't have to give them a star i wouldn't. THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND STEAL MONEY FROM YOU. I DONT OWN A CAR ! Got a rental and paid for a one time car service. however they take your phone and email and claim you sign up that way. NO BTW The manager Terrance has no customer services skills and i caught him in several LIES. I reached out to cooperate behind this and the BBB to no surprise i see several other people stating that they didn't sign up for a subscription as well. Blatantly stealing from people . DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH PLACE

All the staff are extremely helpful… especially the chik that resembles Zoe Kravitz. Sometimes when I have nothing to do or it’s just been a bad day, I’ll just drive over , go through the car wash (make some videos for Snapchat), vacuum out my car and vibe to my music. Then I take a step back and look how shiny my car is. Little do they know, they are my peace on some days. Personal shout out and thank you to the workers at Johnny Clean car wash. The only way they could be better is if they offered a detailing service.

I was told upon purchasing a car wash 3 weeks prior to thanksgiving for $17 that if I purchased a car wash today, and I upgraded for $2 more I could get free car washes until Thanksgiving. I was then enrolled into a membership without consent and was charged yesterday $37.61 on 11/26 without consent. I was scammed into a membership and am demanding a refund, this is not right you are lying to people. I liked the car wash but there's no reason to scam people just have an honest business and people will come back.

I absolutely love this car wash the employees are fantastic my car comes out looking and smelling great not to mention the gentleman this morning notice I needed air in my tires and they offered to put it in I could not believe it I was so happy thanks Joshua. Not only that it was time for me to renew my membership. I left my card at home they were able to do it through cash app so I was able to keep my baby washed and cleaned out this morning thank you so much. I’ve tried to e rest but Johnny’s is this best!!!

Johnny’s Clean Car Wash is the best in town, not only do you get professional service but the best customer service! Why pay every time when you can sign up for membership for $25 and go as much as you want. Vacuums clean pretty well, the wash includes polish, car wax and dual heaters to dry it off. You will get asked did you auto-detail your car , I’m like no it’s the car wash shine baby! Go check out Zach the manager and his staff , you won’t be disappointed!

This was my third time visiting this establishment and I have been pleased each time I’ve went. I wasn’t sure exactly what type of car wash I was looking for this visit and Nate was helpful in explaining the different choices so that I could find the wash that was right for me. Their prices are more than affordable and I love that they offer you towels and litter bags to aid in your cleaning for no additional cost. I’ll definitely return.

Very disappointed with the service when i bought the membership for the car wash they said one thing an now it’s another. No good. They sell you something at one price an then literally double it. An the service sucks they never could help you with nothing, and don't waste your time talking to the manager because it doesn't help either . And it wasn't even a good wash because my car was still dirty. I do not recommend.

Vacuums are cheap…the hoses just pop off the vacuum end!!! The carts with supplies are far from car bays and any vacuums that do work don’t suck very well. I was surprised and disappointed and after less than a month cancelled. Furthermore today when I complained to the attendant he was rude and unprofessional and blew me off…no sponsors or trying to change my mind…just passive and uncaring. Camel is 100 times better!!!!!

Worst car wash ever! Everytime I use them my truck is covered with grease spots! I'd rather have a dirty truck then have to wash grease off my truck after paying them $20! Will not go back again!! All they care about is selling monthly contracts not the fact that they over grease something that slings it all over your vehicle! Stay away, use another car wash!! Its convenient location made it an easy choice when I signed up for the membership over a year ago and the employees seemed happy. Staff turnover seems to be happening. They haven’t been pre spraying your car for a while and when they do it’s random. Sometimes you’re the only car there and they don’t pre spray your car. Vacuums are just okay. For $37.95 a month you’d hope you get a pre rinse and strong vacuums.

Great place to detail your car. Take as much time as you need at the car ports after going through the wash. Price is right. Service is great. Always supplies stocked. Vacuum hoses are conveniently located on both sides and long enough for most vehicles. Clean microfiber towels provided. Glass cleaner provided. Car fragrance provided as part of your purchase. Car fragrance is a pleasant citrus scent.

Stopped in impromptu for a car wash. The associate Stone helped me out, and explained all the wash packages, let me know about the deals and how everything worked. Stone was also super friendly and just talked with me about normal things too. I bought the monthly subscription and will 10/10 come back often and regularly because of Stone and how good my car looked coming out of the wash. Great value!

This is our first time using this car wash because we're here on medical related issues. But I can that Mr Wells is a downright awesome employee. And I can tell you this because I worked at Lowes for almost 24 yrs and I've hired some very good employees in my time and I'd definitely hire him in a heartbeat. Very nice personable and friendly. You've definitely hit a home run with him.

I am extremely happy! Johnny car wash is the best! They use cloth on their machines, 4 different chemicals: multi-purpose cleaner, Window cleaner, inside dash shine, and smell good fragrance. The best quality and price! I'm seriously thinking about driving all the way on this side of town just to wash the car, with there monthly come as many as times as you want fee. Happy customer!!!

I give this business negative 3 stars. Popped in for a car wash and came out with broken tire stem caps and a popped tire. Management reviewed footage for further investigation. They advised since I have aftermarket stem caps, they won’t pay for the repair. I had my vehicle towed to the nearest auto shop for repair. IF YOU VALUE YOUR CAR, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

Hottest newest car wash by far the best in Jacksonville Florida. Definitely have to come in and get the best package. For a short period they are running 20.00 for first 2 months. Come down because this deal won't last forever. Also they have with the unlimited plan free clean station and great towels. For those who have carpet rugs they have a great cleaning machine.

I like the convenience of in and out. There are new changes being made for members that weren’t in place when the first opened and hopefully the water fountain will be changed out for a purified fountain. Bathrooms were clean and it’s nicely lit in the evenings. I use all the complimentary products to get the overall customer satisfaction and experience.

Then after I said no the last time I asked for my card back. She handed it to me and said stay in right lane to exit since you didn’t want a car wash. Seriously? I said I wanted a car wash over and over.

Pulled up to the car wash, guy told me I could get a $20 deal for one month unlimited, no commitment, just a month for $20. Now I have had 2 recurring charges charged to my card. They lied, saved my card info in their system and continued to charge me monthly. Stolen money. I will remove the review when they refund my money.

They Went in my account after I canceled my membership 2 day's before my Payment was due I canceled the membership due to it was scratching my new paint and broke my antenna off. I didn't ask them to pay for any damages but to refund my money they took out account which they stated they couldn't. Horrible customer service..

Staff are great, memberships seem valuable. The quality of the wash, not so much. I drive a large SUV and the entire back of the vehicle was just as dirty leaving the wash as it was going in. There are no vertical spin brushes, just overhead mop things. Spotty finish everywhere. Gate has a better wash, going back to them.

Went to another car wash a few weeks ago and was disappointed….but this one here….I was impressed!! There were a few bugs on the grill but I’ve been traveling….the wash was great…the vacuum was great.. they give products to clean the car out and make it smell good!! I will definitely be back!! Worth every penny!!

I tried to use the services. It was such a hard sale for the monthly package. It was worse than a used car dealership. I advised I was not interested and I would prefer just to pay for my car wash and move on and he still tried to sell it to me. I had to pull off. I couldn’t even get a car wash.

Pretty good service and my car gets well washed and all necessary things are free, towels, cleaners for rugs, yet they washed my mats since you can't put them in the cleaner machine. Quite a lot of space for many cars. Personnel are friendly and very helpful. I enjoy washing my car there.

JCCW is the BEST car wash ever! My car looks new after it is washed and stays that way for 1-2 weeks until I wash it again. The vacuums all work and are very powerful. The staff Is very friendly, alwayd available and resolves any issue that rarely happens quickly and efficiently.

The suction on the vacuums are very low to the point where it doesn’t benefit you to use it. You are basically paying for a car wash with no benefits. This car wash has went down hill since they first opened. I would rather go elsewhere and I use to love this place.

Greatest concept for a car wash, the monthly pass is great. Love how they offer cleaning and fragrance supplies free to use by the vacuums. Awesome that they have a car mat cleaner too. Staff is awesome and very friendly. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Well the parts of the car that it actually got clean were very clean but it missed a lot of the roof, front windshield/cowl area and the back of the car. I expect more from an $18 car wash. I could have done it better myself with a wand sprayer car wash for $3
