I love the gardens here their very unique and beautiful. Good for a picnic date or to go for a stroll in the park. Lots to see and do here. Plus the park has many events and even food trucks come out. So fun!
Dog-friendliness
My dogs favorite place to go every day. He always gets so excited to see the other dogs and to be leash free and run around inside the gated dog park. It also has a water fountain for dogs! We both love it here cuz my dog can play with his friends and so that I can chill at picnic table and work on things on laptop while he plays.

We went to the laser show in lu of the fireworks for independence day. It was a bit disappointing. There was only one song that was even patriotic. Most of the laser show was more like lasers overhead with smoke to capture the rays. The thing is if these are supposed to take place of fireworks SLC needs to up there quality. We have seen outstanding laser shows in Cincinnati and in Washington DC. Laser shows can be incredible and breath taking. But what we saw was more of what you might see at a dance club or a church dance.

This Memorial Park is a great reminder of remembering those who dedicated their lives and served. It's got lots of green grassy area to roam and explore, 3 separate playground areas, picnic table areas, a tennis court, baseball field, memorial pond and fountain, it sits adjacent to the library, city hall, court house and rec center. The space is well maintained, very clean and up kept, with several open bathrooms on-site. It does tens to get busy at times, this park does offer some good shade trees and extra table seating.

The peace gardens are a hidden treasure of salt lake city! The park itself is huge with many amenities such as playgrounds, baseball and soccer fields, a dog park and much more! In the back of the park the peace gardens are a great space filled with many flowers, trees, international displays and access to the Jordan river trail! Dogs are allowed in the gardens but remember that they must remain leashed. I recommend checking out this beautiful park for yourself!

International peace gardens is where these were taken in Salt Lake City. A great place for photos picnics, wedding pics, and for groups or to have a nice peaceful stroll through the gardens. There are a few playground d areas that are really nice and the kids love them.

Several sets of swings and playground equipment for the kids.

This review is for the dog park. The dog park itself is nice, but the people there rarely know how to control their poorly socialized dogs. I've been around this park for over 2 years and it's always a gamble what you're getting yourself into, and the odds are typically not in your favor especially if you have a more submissive dog. It's easy to find this dog park empty during the odd hours of the day.

Been going there for some 46yrs. I'll have to say haven't been a big of the west pavilion, for yrs the center pavilion off 9th west was the spot, no one was there so I was confused that the people I went to support, why was they in the HOTBOX one, lol. 104° Sun with no trees to help. But overall Jordan Park has been a favorite with the International Peace Garden & the old Antique Pavilion.

Snow covered it is just as amazing as the rest of the seasons there. I guess the biggest difference is the Canada Geese are ever present as are their green treats for my pet Fizz (no! Not green tongue!), there are nearly no disc golf players so subsequently it doesn't smell Iike Auto's jacket (Please get the reference.) One of NY favorite Pokey destinations

  • Sam Poon

Good maintenance, nice park to take a walk and they build little gardens from each country which is really cool!
Restrooms
Yes, but don’t expect it to be very clean.

Huge area in front of the park, also have booths with benches and tables.

The bike polo courts are great play hockey with friends here regularly then play softball after. The softball field is decent but have never played league or tournaments; don't know about it's manicured quality. There's an awesome skate park made in a old swimming pool!!!! And the international peace garden is a must visit.

All of Jordan Park is lovely, but a special shout out to the playground in the north east corner of the park next to 900 west. It’s possibly the best climbing playground I’ve ever been to - my kid never gets bored of it, and it’s great for sensory seeking kids who need that challenging input. A gem of a park overall.

  • Jason Rocha

Parks take great pride in the cleanliness and beautification of all the parks in town. Lovely spot to read a book and gather with friends and family.
Playground
They have a wonderful volleyball court.
Restrooms
Also very clean
Dog-friendliness
On a leash
Picnic area
Plenty

  • Robert Staub

A nifty place to visit however would probably be better in the spring or summer. Many botanical gardens connected with a theme of showing you about the world. Lots of benches to rest although the park is not too large connected to the Jordan River trail so you can detour out and explore as well.

  • Lauryn Langley

Quiet, hardly ever busy at all. There is a senior living center and a food bank in the back parking lot. Bathrooms are available except for during the cold months.
Restrooms
After September they are locked until spring
Picnic area
Quite a few sitting areas with tables and benches

  • Kasi Water

Grew up around the corner, playing here since a child. I now bring my own kids here. It's not as fun as it used to be when I was a kid, but it's peaceful and memorable.

Not much to play with but beautiful scenery area where the Peace Garden is. Kids live it

  • Howard Kennedy

Nice big park with three playgrounds and a skate park and a garden walk. I'm glad there were portapotties even though they were kinda gross inside. We thought the international garden was cool and different. The kids loved the bridges and paths.

  • Taylor Moore

Beautiful and Clean park. They were having a Busker event along the paths and it was great. A lot of artists with different talents and techniques that complimented the park and weather. All around safe and serene. Love the butterfly bench.

  • Carson Shepherd

Very nice place to meet up with friends. Clean and friendly environment. A lot of area trails to walk, and still be around the parking area if weather changes. The sun goes down so early now. That being said, I like how lit up this area

  • Luis Sosa

Perfect place to relax, have family over. Skateboarding on a safe place is possible here. Kids can have a great time here too. Not to mention the gardens to visit here. Incredible place that a lot of people haven't discovered yet.

  • Terry McCray

We went there just to walk through the Peace Gardens. It would be much nicer if they could control the homeless loitering inside the Gardens with tents and garbage. Also keep the buildings free from deteriorating!!!

  • Hunter

This park has a lot to do--skate park, dog park at least 3 playgrounds, international peace gardens, dogpark, and huge grass fields. The dog park is not on the map. It's located in the northwest corner of the park.

  • Nicholas Diaz

Me and my kids hit the skatepark like we do every Sunday morning. This park setup wasn't bad for us amateurs.. we mostly kisy ride around and try little things! Definitely my 3rd favorite in the salt lake area!

  • Merkabah33

Desperate for water, barely any place to park, 97° weather but the public health department had a booth and provided ice cold water, bless them!
Picnic area
Tables and benches, one large covered area

  • Michelle G

Park is really nice but not sure how safe it is In the area since I seem some not so great people do not so great things in their car. But maybe it was just bad timing.
Playground
Saw 2 playgrounds

  • Cynthia Wood

I always enjoy walking around and reading about the different nationalities which is always a learning experience. Plus, there is a doggie park for dogs to run around and play. Clean restrooms.

  • Juliana Brassfield

Homelessness and aggressive dogs characterize this park. Not safe at night and often features garbage and animal waste strewn about. Restrooms are permanently welded closed.

The International Peace Gardens is as beautiful as I remember it being as a kid. A nice small garden for a brisk stroll with plenty of pokestops if you play Pokemon Go!
