Attention was placed quickly however it was after that gives me the reason to rate a 1 star. I purchased some toddler Doc Martins a size 10 and was told I had to place it in order. The manager didn't check other stores for the shoes. So I did it. Its Wednesday Oct. 5th and still no email with the tracking info on the shoes. I purchased them on sept 30. I returned back to the same location to exchange some chuck Taylor's(from a 9 to a 10). The so called " manager" said he'll check with ingram for the size cause they didn't have it. The man called Ingram only to conversate with her on the phone. I was at the register while he did this. In front of me the customer, he carried on not informing me of the shoes. So the young lady at the register said she'll look it up since he is not answering us. The computer read there was a 10 at that location. So she began looking. She went next door at the journeys for adults and found them. She did more than the manager and behaved mire professional than he did. Then I asked about the doc martins. I didn't receive my email receipt nor any transaction nor shipping info. He supposedly called and told me the woman he spoke to said shell be sending me an email today which was on the 3rd. Still nothing. Nothing on the boots nor the money that was pulled from my account. This was horibble customer service.

Where as most stores in the mall were limiting the amount of people entering their businesses, journeys kidz was not at all. It crammed to the max. Everyone in each others way either standing or sitting around. I went to this location to make a return. I stood behind the only person in line at the counter. Once that person's transaction was complete, the employee behind the counter completely walks off from the counter, seeing me move up to it. I then am moved by another employee to bring a customer who was not in line to checkout in front of me as if I'm not even there at all. They begin their transaction. I move over to the other register, hidden beside a post where a female employee stands looking on, but not offering help. "Excuse me, can you help me with a refund?" I ask. "Sorry, we all take turns" she states. According to her, you can't receive an item as a gift and return it. They can only exchange it or return the amount of the transaction to the exact card that was used for the purchase, and you have to actually have that card with you. So if you receive a gift you need to return to journeys, youre out of luck entirely.

This rating is for the journeyz right across buckle. Big guy that was there on a Saturday came off as rude not sure what his marketing method was lol but it made me never want to come back. I just went to another mall instead. He approached us and basically forced us to tell him our size even tho we kept telling him we were just looking since we had just walked in the store and I didnt get the chance to even browse then continued to give my sister and husband smart rude remarks so we just ended up leaving. It was a disturbing experience considering all the times we have been there and we have came across such amazing employees.

I am a huge regular at Journeys and today was THEE WORST SERVICE EVER at the adult journeys in northstar mall. I walk in and one guy is helping a customer (the only one on the floor). Three other people come in after me. He asked ALL THE OTHER three folks for shoe sizes and bypass me as if I am invisible. Not once asked if anyone helped me or if i need help. After 20 minutes Haley comes out from the back. She was very professional and helped quickly. I give journeys so much business and will NEVER again go to this location.

I love this store and location.i have a special needs son with leg braces and it can be very intimidating shopping for shoes for him...1 cause it takes time 2 patients to find the right shoe and style for him . i cant be at the store all day so i need someone with knowledge. But at the same time whos ok with taking there time to help me...and that's what i get with this location..i always refer who i can within my special needs group of moms to come here.thanks guys for always making my shoe shopping easy and enjoyable.

Always love coming into this Journeys. Everybody is super friendly. They greet you and always ask if you need help with out making me feel rushed or bugging me too much while I try to brouse. They are always sweet to my daughter too and make an effort to make conversation with her which i think is very cool since they dont have to. They don't just make us feel like we are a sale. I live in UC but would rather drive way over here because of their customer service and great selection.

Worst shopping experience of my life honestly. The employees were so rude and obnoxious it was extremely uncomfortable. I didn't feel welcome or like I was being helped at all, the employees were border line harrasing me and my friend. The workers at this location should really watch what they say and how they act when they are dealing with the public. It was so out of line that it made me frustrated and annoyed as a customer and didn't make me want to purchase anything at all.

The tiny petite girl wearing the gray shirt don’t ask her to try on a pair of shoes because she will just look at you and say what. She brought the shoes but just handed them to me didn’t say anything. I don’t expect special treatment but we are customers. I told the other blonde bigger girl that she was very rude and she said well there’s a doc marten store on the other end. So I went there. Don’t bother coming here. All immature and a complete waste of time.

Went in on a Monday afternoon. They had about 7 associates helping customers which was great, cause back to school season is in full effect and this store is very ready to make your stop here very fast ,I was in and out in less then 5 minutes. Staff is extremely helpful and asking everyone if they need help.Hats of to management for having staff ready to assist customers.

I got greeted and asked if I needed help multiple times, which was great! I didn't find the size of shoe I wanted but I called back and asked if they will get a new shipment in soon and the employee (Roland) who answered the phone was very helpful with finding another Journeys store that would have the size shoe I need. Would definitely be back to shop at this Journeys, thanks to their awesome customer service!

Amazing customer service, great selection, and super clean store. Got asked if we needed help every time an employee came anywhere near us. Aimee ended up helping us and was super amazing, informative, and personable. Shaun (not sure of spelling) was amazing as well, and super happy to talk to us about how great Aimee was.

I went to northstar mall to get the furry ugg boots and they had ran out and i was gona wear them for christmas. I forgot the ladys name that helped me but she was very very helpful she ordered them and promised me that they would be here before christmas and they just got here thank you so much to the lady that helped me.

went in to buy my little brother some vans & the guy that helped us out was great, he talked to my little brother & asked what he liked & wanted & I appreciated how the staff makes the experience about the kids, this is gonna be my go-to kids shoe store :)

Staff was very helpful and attentive. They interacted with my 3 year old and helped her pick out shoes she liked and made it a great experience for her, rather than just speak to me and ignore her. Definitely the kind of thing you want in a kids store.

This place has a decent selection of shoes for being a small store. I found some Adidas forum 84 on clearance here. The staff was helpful and friendly too. Thank you Emerald for helping me find the right size shoes.

I went in to return a pair of shoes and they said we don't do returns on saturdays, then they rolled their eyes at me and said are you seriously being that customer ? And told me I was giving them a hard time.

Great selection of clothing and I can say miscellaneous, because this store has a little of everything. Prices are average. Customer service is friendly and fast checkout.

Needed some slip-ons for work, and was able to get in and out fairly quickly. Super friendly staff! Excited to go back for my next pair of Vans :)
