Everyone I’ve interacted with so far was nice and professional but I got a piece from them and I didn’t like how they added charges without asking (I.e. the warranty), that was kind of grimy to me. I wouldn’t purchase from them again but I’ll get my stuff cleaned and whatever. Edit: they charged me for the warranty but never “activated” it in the system so I paid for it and never actually got it. I threw away my receipt thinking they could look it up in the system like they do with everything else but somehow they couldn’t when it came to this. How convenient.

My fiancé purchased my ring from an independent jeweler outside Chicago and I needed it resized. Before I had the chance to do this, it slipped off my finger and one of the very small side stones popped out on the impact. Kay's quoted me almost $500 for resizing the ring and replacing a tiny little side stone that is hundredths of a carat and certainly worth no more than $15 on its own. They would also have to ship it out (??). A highly-rated local jeweler is now resizing and repairing my ring for $100.

Bought 2 chains and had a charm made in December of 2022 from Kay on Canal St, paid very good money for them only for them to turn my wifes neck green, I purchased 2 14 karat gold necklaces, but now found out it was plated gold. Very disappointed in the customer service, would not recommend buying from this store or any other Kay store again. One star added ( only so it would let me post my comment ), wish it gave a negative rating as it would be a negative 5 stars.

Didn't realize we had a Kay Jeweler in the Canal Roosevelt area. The service by Victoria and the manager Quindell was wonderful. Victoria helped me find the perfect ring i had been thinking about. Then they both made sure i knew of the upcoming sale to help me afford it.
