काकोरी रेलवे स्टेशन ऐतिहासिक स्थान के रूप में ज्यादा प्रसिद्ध रहा है। वर्तमान वस्तु स्थिति इस स्थान के इतिहास से मुताबिक उतना अधिक विकसित नही है। काकोरी (Kakori) भारत के उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य के लखनऊ ज़िले में स्थित एक नगर और नगर पंचायत है। यह जगह भारतीय स्वतन्त्रता संग्राम के दौरान क्रान्तिकारी काकोरी काण्ड के लिए जानी जाती है। यहाँ पर काकोरी शहीदों की स्मृति में एक स्मारक भी है।ककोरी का इतिहास भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में प्रमुख स्थान रखता है। काकोरी कांड स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के इतिहास में एक चिर स्मरणीय स्वर्णिम घटना है। काकोरी कांड की पूरी योजना क्रांतिवीर श्री राम प्रसाद विस्मिल ने बनाई थी। क्रांतिकारी आंदोलन चलाने के लिए धन एकत्र करने की दृष्टि से, भावनात्मक दृष्टि से तथा सरकारी खजाने पर कब्ज़ा करने की दृष्टि से इस संगठन के सदस्यों ने सहारनपुर पैसेंजर में जो सरकारी रेल की धनराशि जा रही थी उसे लूटने की योजना बनायी। 9 अगस्त 1925 को सायकाल के समय इस संगठन के 10 सदस्यों ने काकोरी स्टेशन से ट्रेन में प्रवेश किया। जैसे ही ट्रेन आगे चली श्री विस्मिल ने चैन खींच दी। ट्रेन पर कब्जा करके इन आन्दोनल कारियों ने 8000 रुपये की नगदी लूट ली। ये घटना ब्रिटिश हुकूमत के लिए बहुत बड़ी चुनौती थी।इस शहर के स्मृति को अक्षुण बनाये रखने के लिये मंगल ग्रह के एक प्रमुख क्रेटर का नाम भी काकोरी ही रखा गया है।

The Kakori Train Robbery (Kakori Conspiracy) was a train robbery that occurred on August 9, 1925, in Kakori, a village near Lucknow, during the Indian Independence Movement against the British Raj. Ram Prasad Bismil and Ashfaqullah Khan, members of the HRA, which later became the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association, planned the robbery. This organisation was formed to carry out revolutionary activities against the British Empire in order to achieve independence. Bismil and his group devised a plan to rob a train on the Saharanpur Railway lines in order to raise funds for the organisation's weapon purchases. In this article, we will discuss the Kakori Robbery (1925) which will be helpful for UPSC exam preparation.

क्रान्तिकारियों द्वारा चलाए जा रहे स्वतन्त्रता के आन्दोलन को गति देने के लिये धन की तत्काल व्यवस्था की जरूरत को दृष्टिगत रखते हुए शाहजहाँपुर में हुई बैठक के दौरान अमर शहीद राम प्रसाद बिस्मिल ने अंग्रेजी सरकार का खजाना लूटने की योजना बनायी थी। इस योजनानुसार दल के ही एक प्रमुख सदस्य राजेन्द्रनाथ लाहिड़ी ने ९ अगस्त १९२५ को लखनऊ जिले के काकोरी रेलवे स्टेशन से छूटी "आठ डाउन सहारनपुर-लखनऊ पैसेन्जर ट्रेन" को चेन खींच कर रोका और क्रान्तिकारी पण्डित राम प्रसाद बिस्मिल के नेतृत्व में अशफाक उल्ला खाँ, पण्डित चन्द्रशेखर आज़ाद व ६ अन्य सहयोगियों की सहायता से समूची लौह पथ गामिनी पर धावा बोलते हुए अंग्रेजों द्वारा भारतीय जनता को लूट कर हथियाए गए खजाने, पर कब्जा कर लिया।

Kakori Railway Station! Indian railway is celebrating its historical event where Indian Revolutionaries, freedom fighters has looted British government cash and gold to gear up the fight for the prestigious freedom and show the looter Britisher the power of Indian youth. The date was 09Aug 1925. The prime leaders of the Kakori Action was Roshan Lal, Ashfaq UlLaa Khan, Sardar Bhagat Singh, Ram Prasad Bismil. Small station. Except basic needs like tap water and small food tea stall no facilities available like railway catering or RO water or proper toilet facility isn't available. Need development and it's going very slowly. I know this station due to #KakoriKand during bring British rule in India where freedom fighters had burnt a train. Anyway nothing personal . overall okay.

One-of-a-kind station or rather platform I'd say. Why you ask? Coz these platforms themselves are filled with small and medium-sized plants in a rectangular or circular area throughout the platform, and THAT makes is so refreshing and eye-catching. Oh and did I not mention that it's amazing one of the CLEANEST in its vicinity? Hell yeah!

It is small transit railway station. Kakori has it's historical importance. It has a ticket counter window. It has small parking area but not for wheelchair accessible parking. It has some seats for passengers boarding from here. It has mainly two platforms, one is towards entry side and other towards green fields.

Kakori Railway Station famous for its very kakori kand.... But the condition of the railway station is vey poor... People working at the station are very illiterate and rude in behavior.... No maintenance at the station no foot over bridge available at the other side for passenger..... No parking at all.....

Old historical town, neglected by authorities. Old historical house lying neglected with most occupants moved out or having no means to maintain. Also famous for Mango cultivation and for Independence movement, where Chandra Shekhar Azad had looted a train where English occupiers were tranporting currency.

It was a dream to see this railway station as the Kakori Scandal was happened here during freedom fight. There are many boards to show the hard work of our freedom fighters. Which are enough to remind us of them. Nice experience. #letsguide
