*Updated*. Honestly I'm so done with kc. All the admin all so lazy they don't care about you they just sit there and when the get a bullying problem or something they decide to just tell guys to stop talking to eachother or they take sides or put in in a room telling u to work it out. If your struggling with studies they don't even help you. They sit there facebooking and ignoring us the whole day. When you do one thing wrong they all team up on you against you whether it's your fault or not. If you say you don't feel safe the tell u it's not there problem and to go to the police if we have that much of a issue. I don't feel safe there. They spend all their money on aesthetics and not getting us better equipment and are way to strict. Instead of asking the students what new things we would like they go and just spend it on whatever they what not to mention it's our money because that's the money we would give for fundraisers and food from Kate's corner. Like how selfish can the principal be? Us grade 9s have been looking forward to the grade 9 dance since grade 7 and this year they decide to cancel it without even asking us on our thoughts. Instead they take us to WEM. WEM doesn't sound so bad for a farewell celebration right? Well not everyone gets to even go. If you have been later 12 or more times or have 5 u excused absences they won't let you go but imagine someone who has been looking forward to WEM since grade 7 and they make sure that they don't have that many late sir absences gets suspended for confessing? Like is this what they teach us? That being honest gets you in trouble? If somebody hits you and is harassing you constantly and you reach out for admin help and they don't help you and the person continues harassing you you will obviously fight back if they hit you. Like what else are you suppose to do? Sit there and take the beating? They should be digging more to find out why all of this happened whose at fault before suspending anyone which would be the proper way not to mention that most of those kids who are in trouble don't have anything about physical fighting on there record, like this is the first time and they shouldn't punish you that harsh. Like okay they suspend but seriously why you gotta take away our farewell from us? This is just cruel. They suspend you for the littlest things like incomplete hw ,being late, tech infractions or skipping a ELO like this doesn't even make sense. Students have absolutely no voice here. Everyday I come to school thinking "ugh this place... why am I here?" I don't even wanna be here seriously I come here for a education which I struggle to get because of the teachers. They all abuse their power and don't listen to you I feel so unsafe here and they make everything a big deal that is so small and treat other big things like it's nothing. Like a kid is reaching out to you atleast try to help! Teachers can't even teach the curriculum right. Only few are good. They make kids take off their bandages that they have on their arms to make sure they aren't cutting like you can't just ask a random person to do that. All of the admin and teachers gang up against you this is by far the worst school. Almost everyone there is horrible. Honestly I want to make this school a better place. It's already very pretty because of all the money they spent on aesthetics there could be a chance of being suspended for voicing our opinions but to be honest I rather be suspended for something I believe in then keeping my mouth shut. We have sucked up enough they can't keep taking things from us. Most of us don't even wanna go to grad or WEM because of how kc treats us honestly all of this is just sadlol

I am in grade 9 in KC, and this school is honsetly pretty good, there are amazing teachers in there but there also some bad ones, for example one or two math teachers in the math department they will stop there whole lesson, just to yell at someone, for doing nothing, but when they see someone being bullied they do nothing and there are some other teachers that are terrbile, and i can go on about it, but the main issue for me personally is the staff and how they treat the situations, like bulling they do nothing, but eating gum they will suspend you for a month, they should put that into consideration as how they can improve the school, but everything else is the best.

I went here for junior high, there are some nice teachers that are really good, but there are a lot of really stupid rules and strict teachers that don't care about bullying, i got bullied for being a white boy for all 3 years of school here, tons of kids vaping everywhere (talking about how they did drugs lots too but idk bout that), and so many kids vaping during class as well. Unless they change it up here its not that good and I feel bad for the good teachers here :(

my expierience there was not great i feel the teachers thought we werent capable of anything so they went easy on us if your the type of person who is looking for a school with not a lot of homework its the school for you but if you want to be succesful in life choose a different school and also that experience is showing up in my high school grades but overall its a good school

I went to this school, the teachers are good and nice. But the problem is the students, noone gives a frick about the bullying(I saw one of my classmate getting bullied indirectly more like emotionally bullying). Even though I reported them numerous times nothing worked. So whoever wants to go to this school goodluck!

Amazing school. Mr. McCormack is honestly the best teacher there! The best years of my life were at this school. Highly recommended. Administration is absolutely horrible though, they're all incredibly unfair and rude for no reason other than to cause you harm

i dont know if this is a good school cause my friend told me this school treated his brother like shot, and so did my sister, soo thats a bummer but i am looking forward to attending grade 7 so thats a score, plus ITS LIKE THE ONLY SCHOOL WITH AN ANIME CLUB)

I strongly recommend Kate Chegwin School. Great teachers, staff and coaches. Everyone is very supportive and they truly care about the students. My kid has had a wonderful experience during these three years. Great Job Kate Chegwin!!!

I saw jai isekai hundle get super wedgied in the washroom by the Japanese transfer student faculty didn’t do anything, left me traumatized.

This is a great school and very organized but i wish time to get to class and lockers would be 5 minutes instead of 3

Awesome school. Admire able administration and perfect teaches. My daughter is enjoying in this school.
