Had the ABSOLUTE WORST experience of trying to get a glass drilled for my aquarium.. I was told it would take 5 days to be completed (2x 50mm holes in 6mm glass).. Upon first collection the sample vent did not fit the holes drilled, I was told to come back after a few days as they will sort the problem out.. Last week Tuesday i returned to collect.. And was told that the job was forgotten about... I was told that it would be done that very afternoon, and i could collect again at anytime.. I returned there today ( 13th February ) to be told that it was forgotten.. YET AGAIN!.... I told them to keep the glass ( which was mine and paid for by me ) and left the shop it utter digust and disappointment that a simple task has been prolonged over 3 weeks... And i had made 3 trips to them for sweet nothing.. I was not offered any solution, just left to leave... Needless to say i will NEVER BE RETURNING TO THEM....

I bought a new 550l tank with the complete set for R 30 000 plus in December 2019 . I was told that if there was anything wrong or something broke we could bring it back to the shop. The air pump broke within two months, the one hole was not blowing air. Bought it in today the 9 of February 2020 and was told they do not cover moving parts. What a slap in the face, it is a new pump and after spending so much money there I would have expected them to keep to their word . The shop also does not print a complete receipt of what you bought, which only added to the problem. Quite disappoint and next time will purchase somewhere else.

After phoning Aquarium Centre/Aquaticare and requesting an emergency callout - explaining that our tropical fish are about to die because the air pump and filter isn't working. They said they couldn't help us because they're short staffed. After insisting urgent assistance, the owner of this company started swearing at us using extremely unprofessional fowl language. We have been a loyal customer with them for a number of years. Needless to say. We have cancelled our services with them with immediate effect.

People here are some of the friendliest folks.the aquarium has a large amount of aquatic stuff. Definitely will recommend this company. Left some goldfish with them as I was going on honeymoon. They didn't charge a heck of alot of money. Fish were alive and well when I collected lol. Please pay these people a visit and support this business one of the best shops around for fish of all sorts as well as a nursery which is right next to establishment.

if i could give 10 stars i definitely would, very helpful and friendly staff and will explain to you in detail what to do and how to do it. they go the extra mile to assist you and to let you walk away with a big smile....me any my Goldfish named Tobi would like to thank all of you for your great effort and and the expertise to put me at ease.

Fish are in top quality, which is an awesome bonuses all the tanks are also in pristine condition. :) I love shopping there and I would recommend paying them a visit!

They've got great staff that are fully experienced friendly and willing to help. A wide range of fish, tanks, decor and equipment. Service is quick n professional. Quality is great and their prices are reasonable. I'd highly recommend them. You can even take your water here to be tested and they don't charge for it.

Excellent quality fish and good advice! I have bought a lots of fish there, several different species. The flowerhorns I bought are exceptionally good grade and colour. Very healthy and got exactly what I ordered. Will recommend aquarium centre for family and friends. Happy fish shopping.

Good variety and fish size, however fish health conditions are questionable and high density stocking of tanks. As always quarintine fish after receiving. My fish had eye injuries, which I was able to fix, however the eye was lost. Make sure of condition of fish before you leave the shop

A wide variety of cichlids, African and American, and some other really prized fish for sale. Limited marine livestock but a lot of options when it comes to fish keeping hardware. Tanks, filters, lights, decorations etc. This shop is definitely worth a visit if you are into fish keeping!

Friendly staff don't get me wrong. But whenever I purchase fish here they die either a day later or a week later or my whole tank gets effected. If I buy fish elsewhere then I don't get an issue like I do at this place. Seriously disappointed. You've gone down big time!

What a rip off!!!! Take our fish to sell them six times the size of their stock!!! Want to offer a quarter of what they are worth. Will not support them again. Will rather drive to a decent fair aquarium trader. They do NOT deserve one star.

The build quality of their tanks is really shocking. the glass does not even sit on the base, the walls are all skew, when asked to return them for a better built tank, i received yet another skew tank or 2 in a order of 5. I was then told

A huge selection of fancy and awesome fishes but sadly the shop felt uninspiring and had a pungent smell by the entrance. We also thought there was a lack in selection of aquarium tanks and the staff could also be a bit more friendly.

Great service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Have owned my tropical tank for 2 years now and this is the only place I've ever stocked my tank from. Wide variety and will gladly order from suppliers if you have a special request.

They have really Large tanks, with differant types of fish in them, on display, and can be custom made. Large variety of fish for sale plus all the equipment to go with it. The staff are very helpful. I like this outlet a lot!

Been to the store quite a few times. Their stock are generally very healthy and their selection on cichlids are nice. They don't sell sick fish. The stock is well fed. Definitely recommend if you are an African Cichlid fan.

The owner is the best. She gives sound advise and always willing to help. I have found their selection of fish the best arlund and the dont charge an arm and a leg. I highly rscommend a visit to this establishment.

Very well stocked with different types of fish and the staff are knowledgeable. The only problem is that the staff aren't very friendly and patient with customers, giving customers a rushed experience.

The biggest range of tropical fish i seen in jozi. Wide range of fish tanks , plants ,rocks and accessories are available. Had a wonderful time de-stressing just by looking at fish.

Not worth while driving to this store. Phones never works. Over friendly manic staff who cannot keep promises of servicing a filter with an excuse they had a black Friday sale.

Owners are friendly, Staff not so much. Good stock White customers treated differently(better) by the black staff which is ironic, forgetting that this is 2019 I suppose.

Theres a guy called Elliot there who is very dedicated to his work and he creates an excellent atmosphere he is very educatibe and explains to detail great service indeed
