I am surprised these guys are still in business. I would never trust them. They are unprofessional and well known in Kansas City for stealing their owners HVAC and appliances and then reselling them. I actually know you and your company because of a mutual person we do business with. My issue is with YOU ONLY. You listed several cases for me to look at and I did just that. I do see that a company S.T. is a member of filed a Chapter 11 plan. Chapter 11 means the business wants to pay back debtors and reorganize, right? I also noticed that you personally filed a Chapter 7 Case Number 13-42909 and bailed out on paying any of your debtors. Wow. Did you really need to file bankruptcy for small medical bills and stuff you purchased at Macy's that you couldn't afford, or is there something deeper like that $200,000 debt to Rick Ladd or the other businesses "Coral"? that you happened to leave out. Actually you seemed to leave out A LOT. I respect a person like S.T. that tries to reorganize his business. But someone like you that just wants to run from the financial mess you created, is a real piece of work. You seem to be a savvy businessman, but it seems you could not pay a $4,033 tax debt to the State of Missouri? Case Number 0916-CV00436. Or what about the Tax lien? 1016-MC07169 You suggested I pay attention to some cases involving S.T. What I discovered was that YOU, John Wheeler has 22 violations with the Missouri Real Estate Commission! I came to your page and left a review just like I did with the Hard Money lender that screwed me over. Now I see this same lender screwed over others. My question is, what is your connection Mr. Wheeler? You seem to have used the same attorney as the lenders when you filed the false bankruptcy documents? Ironic huh? I looked for that restraining order you mentioned, I did not find it. But what I did find was a pending order against YOU for Stalking women and children, Harassment and possible Human Trafficking? Now that is BIG! The Sheriff is looking for you at this very minute. If the truth is behind them, give them a call right now, tonight. If not, then you will continue to hide. Something else that I happened upon as I was looking at the Public Record matters you provided, was a Marital Consent for Deed of Trust. It floored me to see that you had your wife Alicia sign over her ownership and rights to your HOME! Instrument 2020E0057021 filed in Jackson County. No wonder you look up other women and childrens information. You don't even have respect for your own. Shame on you! You are a joke. Every single negative review you have on your page is responded to with some type of lie from you. Stop Stalking children.

I bought a completely remodeled home from John Wheeler 7 months ago. John was responsive through the selling process, however, he failed to complete each of the agreed tasks prior to closing. To his credit, I was credited the value of the incomplete work at closing. Most of the work that was done on the home was done well, however some clear shortcuts were taken. Most notably, the shower in the master bath was inadequately supported and secured, such that the grout disintegrated and the shower pan cracked in half only 3 weeks after moving in. This created a $6000 repair job which was necessary in order to use the master shower. When I contacted John about the issue, he dismissed any responsibility and did not care about the outcome or his reputation in this. He continued to promise to have “his guys” come and give me an estimate to correct the problem, which he expected me to pay for completely, but no one came. Then he stopped responding to me. Not once did he take responsibility for selling a damaged product that he had wrapped in a shiny bow. He was dismissive and unprofessional. I would not recommend buying a remodeled home from him since there seems to be no accountability for the work that he has had done.

I would like to give a BIG thanks to Key Realty Group (KRG). This property Management company is truly outstanding! I have personally worked with John and Matt and both of them have been very helpful in getting my property rented out in a timely manner. I reached out to John after I read good reviews about KRG and another investor personally recommended their company to me. From the time I contacted KRG both John and Matt worked diligently to get my property rent ready and rented-out after the prior property management had failed to do so and my property sat vacant for months. John and Matt manage to rent-out my property in record time. Communication has been excellent, they are very experienced in the Missouri real estate market, and more importantly they genuinely care about making you as an investor succeed. As an out-of-state investor, this is something you definitely need since you cannot be physically there to manage your own properties, Thanks again KRG you have definitely made the difference in making my out-of-state real estate investing endeavors a success.

Full Disclosure: This review is solely based on my first week’s experience of using Key Realty for property management. Initial Thoughts: Night and Day!! I was in the process of putting my first out-of-state rental under contract with another management company when I became weary of their lack of communication, feedback, and response. I reached out to Key Realty based on a prior recommendation and couldn’t be more pleased. I got into contract with Key Realty 2 business days before the end of the month. In less than a week, Heather from Key Realty introduced herself to the tenant, worked tirelessly to get ahold of the aforementioned management group to initiate the transition, collected the rent, AND kept me updated throughout the process. It was “night and day!” I couldn’t even get the original management group to send me a contract in a week’s worth of time! Outlook: This initial interaction has definitely been amazing. It has me excited for what’s to come.

My family and I moved in a house managed by key realty 4 months ago and all we needed done were small things which were a screen needed on the kitchen window there is no storm door on the front entrance and we had no garage door opener the door bell stopped working and the guy just came today to fix everything and he went and bought some tape that looks like aluminum foil he put around the screen on the outside of the window and the inside it looks so ghetto and unprofessional and I still haven't got the storm door he told me I needed to call the supervisor of maintenance and talk to him first why do I have to do that and we have been waiting all this time already and then we would have to pay extra to get the screen door put on that's not right I'm just going to by the storm door myself and have someone I know put it on because it will probably be another 4 months before they get one so disappointed

I purchased three rental homes from John at Key Realty Group about 3 years ago and hope to purchase another this year. I live in the Bay Area, CA and rely on Key Realty group to manage my investments for me. They have never disappointed. The Key Realty team is extremely responsive, professional, and they are all great people in general. Every time a rental turns-over tenants or if maintenance is needed, Matt always sends me a summary of what is going on along with photos. Being a remote investor, I really appreciate the communication. Also, Nicole and Danielle always get back to me quickly whenever I have questions about my statements etc. One key aspect that I love about Key Realty is their honesty and integrity. Their quality of work is impeccable and their focus on taking care of my tenants is of paramount importance to them. I appreciate Key Realty and all of the hard work they do! Thank you!

John without a doubt is a great buyer and seller agent. Not only did he save me money on my listing (which no other agent could match) but found my perfect house. We had multiple complications on buyers with financing and inspections and John was able to leverage and made sure my interests and my goals where first. When selling a home communication is sooooo important. He listened, informed and kept me in the loop the entire time. He listened to my needs and gave me sound advice but still allowed me to make decisions which because of him I was able to make informed and intelligent decisions. John was more worried about me then his own. That’s hard to find and completely recommend Key Realty to all family and friends. If you higher an agent that puts a sign in your yard you hired the wrong person. If you need a good agent, call John.

This people are so kind great customer service. Gary is always reachable he is understanding and he will work with you if it’s a problem he will solve it and when your feeling down he will make you smile. Gary and Matt changed my life when I needed it most and no matter how many times you call they will always have a answer. The people at this office will forever be my angels. The maintenance man is amazing I really adore him he is efficient and he always does his best to provide you with the best experience he is very empathetic and no matter what time you call he will always communicate with you and reassure you if there is a problem he will be there. They have made this whole experience worth it. Any concern I have had they have addressed In a timely manner. I whole heartedly recommend them You won’t be disappointed.

I recently sold my property with Key Realty and everything went so smoothly! Gary goes ABOVE and beyond to take care of what needs to be done. I actually had to sell the property on short notice and I wasn't sure if I would be able to sell it without losing an arm and leg. But Gary and John were great and made a deal happen. I have worked with John and his team for over a year now. They are efficient, very responsive, and care about both the relationship with the tenants and the property owner. I switched management company for my rentals 8 months ago. I feel the most important thing for property manager is communication, and that was what my previous manager lacked big time. The team at Key Realty Group has just been outstanding in communication. There is always someone at the office to answer the phone. When there are issues, whether it's maintenance, repairs, or rent collection, they are always reachable via phone or email, and keeping things transparent. Matt is very knowledgeable and is excellent in staying a step ahead of all the issues and communicating progress to me.
