The environment is always pretty solid and family oriented. They have good drinks and the food is mediocre. The Mac and Cheese bites are however SUPER GOOD when they have them! They seem to only have them 3/4 times out of the past 10 times we’ve gone. The service is really poor in the restaurant unless you’re down at one of the bowling stations. We waited 15 minutes for a waiter and nobody came so I had to go and order from the bar. My son’s Peach tea never came so I went to inquire about it after 20 minutes after getting our food and the bartender was really rude. She was sipping a taster of beer and when I asked politely about the Peach tea she told me they don’t have Peach Tea. I told her I scanned the QR code and it’s on the menu? She replied “let’s see if you can show me that, we only have Mango tea”…I pulled up the website and showed her and she said “oh…they must only have it on the other side of the restaurant. She then radioed to a manager and they confirmed they have it available. It took another 10-15 minutes to get it and my son was already done eating by the time he got it. Normally I don’t leave long detailed reviews like this, however it was a bad experience and we will be taking our business to another bowling establishment moving forward. Overall I think it’s a decent establishment depending on the service and waiter/bartender you have as I have also had a few really good ones. Hope this helps! Take care and thanks for reading!

I’ll start by saying we definitely prefer the Beaverton location. While the inside is clean (no complaints), the area that this KingPins is in is extremely unappealing. There are a handful of homeless camps just blocks away, lots of trash on the streets, and people begging on every corner. Frankly, it’s just unpleasant to come here. We experienced a lot of technical issues when we tried playing some of the arcade games. First, the play card jammed/did not come out of the machine when we purchased it. It took some time to get that fixed. Second, the DC coin pusher did not always react/dispense tokens when I pressed the button. Some other machines just did not work. Finally, once we wanted to redeem the DC cards we won, the machine that normally accepts them required the approval of a manager. I don’t know if that is standard protocol for this location. If it is, it seems pretty absurd. If not, then we had to spend another 10+ minutes waiting for that to be taken care of. All of these things combined really took the fun out of playing any games. I will say that this location has more prizes you can win.

I miss 21st Century Bowl they knew what they were doing. Due to work scheduling I had to join a bowling league late on Tuesday nights. 1. It was not a sanctioned league (whoops! Did I miss that?) 2. There is streaks of oil on my ball at that time. Keep in mind there is a league that bowls before mine and they do not recondition the lanes. This means the earlier league must have oily hands and the balls sliding all over the place. You can hit a 1/3 picket and be left with a 4 pin (never happens unless your on a gaming console) or a 7/10 split. All I can think is, "I miss 21st Century Bowl" and "Kingpins should have stuck to mobile and game consoles". Kingpins caters to the fun crowds; which is also an indicator by their ridiculous costs and by lane/people versus games played. You can be stuck in the middle of a game or you forfiet time. I may not bowl anymore. You get limited perks also, and time limited.

This place is fun! Im an old school bowling alley kind of person, always have been, so I have been reluctant to try any of these more "family fun" style places since all my local spots have closed. Gotta say, i was very pleasantly surprised! Great atmosphere, drinks (full bar in the taproom bowling area), food, the other patrons were fun and nice, our server (Win) was excellent and took great care of us, bowling alleys greased and clean, balls available and in variety, shoes were clean, felt new, and fit, pricing was higher than im used to but very reasonable for this new era of bowling... Thanks, KingPins! I will definitely be back. I appreciate feeling like i can look forward to bowling again.

I appreciate that they are adequately staffed in all departments. Though the young lady in the taphouse was on her phone when I went to cash video poker. There is security that patrols the parking area, and checks IDs in the video poker area. They have lane servers that come through the lanes to take orders and you can start a tab with your server lane side. though prices are quite spendy, the food is of great quality, very tasty. There are party lanes located in the taphouse that are glow lanes. They have a very large arcade between the traditional and taphouse lanes. The restrooms are always neat and tidy. The only other negative is this house is very loud. The sound seems to echo.

First time here and we were really impressed! Everything was clean and the staff was professional yet helped to create a welcoming and fun environment. And they even have a bar and grill inside. The food was surprisingly good which in my experience is pretty rare when it comes to bowling and entertainment centers. As for the drink, they were pricey but REALLY yummy! And the desserts, namely the giant loaded cookie, was insanly good! We will definitely be returning and bringing more friends Update: we returned on 4/9 with some friends and had a blast. The drinks are good. Pricey but really good! And the food is surprisingly amazing! Try the nachos :)

We did have our 3 Days Events for PCDBA/PCDWBA Tournament in the KingPins Bowling House. It's great to bowl and wonderful atmosphere especially with plenty of room for bowlers and fans! Wonderful service from all the employees with the utmost respect and solid communication for all of the Hard of Hearing and Deaf Bowlers and Fans! We are so pleased with their work to make things so smooth! The photo provided of the Tournament Plaques I received proves the lanes just absolutely efficient to win the Championship! It made my day! Thank you KingPins for all of your wonderful services!

We had a great time here. I got a discount from Groupon, and we got 2 hrs of bowling and a $20 arcade card for around $70 for 5 people! The place was clean and the staff was very kind and friendly. The kiddos had a blast, and the food was surprisingly good. The alleys seemed balanced and well oiled. The only gripes I have, which is nitpicking, is that the console we had was weird and didn't work that well and I never really liked the attached chair/table combo at any bowling alley. We spent about 3 hrs there and we had a lot of fun. Would come back.

Wow, what a great alley!! Came here during spring break and it was packed but Terrance at the front desk was wonderful and gave us the last lane available. Their state-of-the-art equipment is something I’ve never seen before and I liked being able to choose different pin formats for the various games. It was like ‘Top Golf’ for bowling if that makes sense. Arcade was nice and clean as well, we had so much fun here and I highly highly recommend this venue for family or grownup fun!

Clean facility, lots of balls available, helpful & friendly staff. No outside food or beverage is allowed and I found the prices a little excessive (not sure if that's just my frugal nature or fact). And when we did order it took a looong time to get our beverages (water, soda, one beer). I would definitely return for another family fun time, but would make plans to eat ahead of time.

The bowling placeat Tap Hous was super cool. I highly recommend this place. Consider TapHouse instead of main lane since for a small price difference, you will get cool lounge seating, billiard style balls and big screens. its much quieter than main lanes. The food was also high quality. They do allow kids in Tap House and have automatic bumpers for the lanes.

Awesome bowling alley! Offers something for everyone. Lots of room for bowling, the staff was always super helpful. The whole center is very clean and updated. The kitchen was super fast and the food was delicious. Had the mediterranean wrap with fries and would 100% recommend it! Love the separate bowling alley in the restaurant area. Cool atmosphere.

We loved KingPins Visited here during the NYE this year. We made a reservation of the bowling lane for the NYE. We had a blast here, it was so much of fun The arcade had so many options of games for all age from kids to adults. We loved the the games specially the 3D games. We would definitely visit KingPins again!!

We just had my 6-year-old son's birthday here and it was such a great experience! They took care of every detail, plus we had a birthday host to handle everything we could have needed. The total price was more than fair and we had a blast! I would recommend this place for birthdays and also just a good time.

  • Retro of the Future

Despite not having my own bowling balls and using my brother's, I thought it was pretty cool. And on top of that, they had sour beers for a pitcher, a little pricey but hey I'm on vacation, so whatever, come check it out, the staff was very friendly too.

  • Rabecca Barnes

So much fun! Super friendly! Good deals on lanes and gear rentals. Very clean and well kept equipment. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. They have a bar area that you can escape from the younger crowd and bowl in the bar.

  • Walter van Dusen

Great bowling and food with a great selection of draft beer. I had the chicken wrap with tasty fries and my wife has the veggie burger with tater tot's. Super friendly staff and very clean. Highly recommend this place.

  • Eli Sayre

Had an amazing and charming server, I believe named Winnifred or Win. The server made my whole party laugh and recommend some berry type drink that I very much enjoyed. Fr a cutie tho. (Btw I wrecked everyone(mostly))

  • Matthew

The day I went it was a little busy, so I couldn't get one of the balls I normally bowl with. However, I went to the adult side and it was hella nice. Drinks for days and nice environment to bowl at. Very nice.

  • dan A

Very dirty and we could not play one full game without the lane shutting down on us. The waitress is very nice however you had to wait quite a while to get a drink overall I was not very satisfied

  • Michael B

Amazing service. I lost a ring in one of the arcade machines and both Aiden and Tim were incredible helpful and patient in getting it back for me. Will definitely remember/recommend this place.

  • Natalie CardozaClark

KingPins Portland is a beautiful bowling center with lots to offer. Super friendly and helpful staff. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Highly recommend visiting this center.

  • Marshall Pile

The very best bowling alley in the Portland area. Superb customer service. Very neat and clean facility. This place sets the bar so high that no other alley can compare or compete.

  • Bella Gold

Awesome bowling alley with a bar and game room. The food is good and the wait isn't very long, this place can get packed. The bowling allows you to select several games in itself.

  • Ryan Anderton

Good experience overall, ordered a pretzel bite, and it was a bit overcooked other than that the music was alright and it wasn't an awful experience. Good for events and family's.

  • V C

Idk. There's good stuff to say. They're clearly well organized but understaffed. It's just so crowded so loud that it kinda turns into a chuck e cheeses kind of place.

  • Ever Elizabeth Stevenson

Show up on a Saturday around 930 to be put on a waitlist for all you can play from 10 to 12 for 15$ person. Cosmic bowling with well known music playing!

  • Eric Brooks

Staff is friendly. Lanes are well maintained. The Taphouse lanes are my favorite and the bar has a very good beer selection.

  • Shelton Glass

Took the kids to play in arcade there. It was fine except spending 60 bucks for two large pizzas.

  • Asaad Esai
