You have to have a permit to use this venue. There are times and seasons when the track gets very busy making it harder to train. Very well maintained most of the time. After an event like a school sports, this place is sadly a big mess. A small and awkward parking lot, lots of bins around the arena, lots of seating bit not wheelchair accessible. There was some maintainance work taking place in March so there were areas that were cordoned off for safety.

In my previous review I mentioned how difficult it is to get parking here on a weekday for a school sports. I missed my kids races because I couldnt get street parking and Moses Mabhida security didnt allow parking either. No point in schools renting this venue if there is nowhere to park which is amazing since this is intended to be a public venue. I personally will not consider attending any event here because finding secured parking is so difficult!

Beautifully set close to Moses Mabida stadium near the Durban beachfront. I attended a school sports day here recently and noticed that whilst the track and field seemed to be well maintained, the spectator stands were filthy and there were many broken seats that could not be used (safety issue). Toilets need some tending to and parking here is an issue but alternate parking needs to be arranged with ground management.

King's Park Athletic Stadium is an older synthetic track based in Durban. It is well-maintained, but the surface is starting to harden and wear, with the lane markings showing their age too. However, the track and field infrastructure is fully-functional and I have enjoyed the 3 times I have recently competed there. The ASA officials have always been on time which is also great. The public toilets are well-kept.

Had our school sports here. Venue is beautiful clean n tidy. Ground staff were so helpful. Lots of people go running or jogging on the tracks early morning or late afternoon. A good place to have sports or for your fitness.

Well situated...parking spaces...a bit of a challenge...requires upgrades wrt to paint and neatness....toilets not in good condition...could do with urgent makeover...

Plenty of parking ,and 2 active gyms,classic,which is over priced and the normal active gym

Great set up. Toilet needs attention and parking should be more convenient.

Love going to the track. Good up keep as well.
