Preached on “Does God care about our rest?”. I thought it was excellent. I have 2 pages of notes and I need to process these. Josh encouraged you to 1. Stop 2. Rest & 3. Delight in this. He encouraged us from scripture to cease for 24 hours. The day of rest was time YHWH created for us. We need to trust YHWH for our diary. Jesus healed on the sabbath and he may heal us on the sabbath. You can delight in the sabbath and it can give you Joy & Peace. Having a day of rest is like having Christmas once a week. The Sabbath is holy and this means “set apart”. There are always going to excuses to not keep the sabbath. In Christ we know who we really are and the sabbath is a foretaste of eternal life…thank you so much. So helpful.

KingsGate was the first church I tried out when I was a student, and years later I haven't left! There is such a warm family feel, with people from all generations and nationalities, students and residents. Great teaching, high quality worship, and plenty of opportunities to get connected and involved.

A great church. Have been over 7 years. Our kids loves the church so much, they enjoy being involve with Kids and Youth Team especially meeting new friends and going to Youth Camp. The message really impact our life, the worship is fantastic and the people are so welcoming and friendly.

We joined this church as soon as we landed in Leicester. A great, vibrant church - perfect for students and families alike. We found a home. The church leadership are big hearted, you get to meet great people from all walks of life. Our little one loves the Kids church …

Love being part of this church. Since we first came we were made to feel welcome and part of the wider family. The childrens work is superb (our kids love it) and the worship and teaching is always spot on.
