Staff are open and welcoming. Often know exactly what i am interested in with little description and quick to offer a pamphlet and any other helpful information. We noticed the froid art display outside and went in to ask about it. They provided additional information and directed us to martello alley (a couple of blocks away, walking distance). We found a couple more pieces of froid art on the way. Once there a local artist Laura Moreland provided a detailed synposis of the froid art making process. The pieces made from acrylics survive the ice and take on another life after they thaw! Each one is unique. Its the perfect winter for it this year. Check it out. Martello Alley staff happily provided a map where more froid art was on display downtown kingston.

I lived in Kingston mostly all my life and never visited this location until most recently. But on the side note, I would love to give a shout out to the staffs that works there for being amazing and accommodating to exchange a tshirt size I most recently bought. Contacted them regarding sizing issues and they were delightful to make an exception to exchange for a proper size. Thanks so much. About the location, great place to ask for info or to see what attractions for tourists to find and do around the City when they're visiting. Almost a nice full wall of brochures and pamphlets of hotels to attractions within the City of Kingston. They also got some really sweet merch section as well.

Unfriendly staff- only good when it comes to speaking about a couple of tours. The lady was very rude when I asked if there is a shopping mall in the area. She made fun saying “ it is really funny when people ask about a mall in the old city”. Poor customer service skills. A bad representation of Kingston, especially to first-time visitors. Apart from a nice place and a good location, workers don’t have much to offer. I was expecting welcoming, well- trained, professional staff that are interested in helping tourists and enhancing their experience, unfortunately I didn’t see any of that and I left very disappointed. Lots of improvement is needed over here! Below expectations.

All the public washrooms were temporaily closed when we visited on Apr 7, 2023. (Good friday). We were inside the centre, wanted to ask the whereabouts of washrooms. The 1 and only ambassador in the centre was busy helping out a couple, so we went to the hotel nearby ( we did ask for permission at the front desk). Defintiely a great tourist spot to stop by when you are on a road trip from toronto to ottawa and vice versa. Lots of street parkings available nearby. We parked on william street for $1.50 an hour.

This was a perfect meeting spot with the easily found locomotive on the waterfront. It is a relatively small park area but it connects with the pathway for a good walk along the water. We didn't go to the info kiosk itself since we had been to Kingston several times before, but the park is nice, close to shops and cafes, and you can watch a ferry coming across the water here. In the summer we came to a food festival here with many international food booths set up.

We had a blast at this location with friends and family .The thing we did was a shotgun video everybody taking turns to be the eye . It was fun how we did it and it was a super cool vibe at that location . Had a blast taking picture s and creating a video all while snapping some picks . Thank you for providing a cool atmosphere to create a great video and reach new level s of creativity

Interesting place to stop for visitor information regarding Kingston and about tourist information on what there is to do while you are in the Kingston area. This is also a gift shop where you can buy some fun and inexpensive tourist memorabilia and gift items. Also, get some fun pictures at the KINGSTON sign, on the waterfront, and in the downtown and old Kingston area.

Lots to see and visit. Unfortunately tourist can't stop and walk. Parking in this city is the worse I ever seen!!! Spent an hour circling around in heavy traffic...on a Wednesday at 1pm. Could not find a spot within walking distance of downtown attractions... So I ended up just leaving the place without even setting a foot on the ground. Avoid this place at all costs!!!!

Great tourist information centre in downtown Kingston. Friendly staff. Lots of maps for local and regional attractions inside. Nothing tacky for sale. This is a legit Kingston tourist office! Grab some maps before heading out to explore the city. Great photo ops nearby.

Small nice place to begin your Kingston city tour. It has brochures , maps and memorabolia too. Seems like a busy place and there only 2 customer service agents. They were amazing and take time to answer quick information.

  • Gina Grisanzio

I really enjoyed touring kingston! The downtown is very pretty! The ice skating rink is soooo cute..... really liked the antique pieces throughout downtown, and the presto tea place we visited for bubble teas was awsome!

We scheduled a Trolley Tour on Tuesday at the VIC. Vicitoria was a 10 out 10 with her customer service and the tour was excellent. I would highly recommend.

Was under construction during our visit but staff was present outside the building to provide useful information. Also meeting place for hop on hop off bus.

  • Cassandra Lapointe

C'était fermé lorsqu'on est arrivé, mais il y avait des dépliants avec de la documentation à l'extérieur. Et cet endroit est vraiment charmant

  • John Jambrovic

Went into the tourism office to ask about some local sites. The attendant was too busy checking inventory to even acknowledge our questions.

  • Bob Deptuck

Parking almost right out front. As soon as we walked in, the super friendly attendant was ready to help. Lots of information and souvenirs
