We have bought food from this shop over the last 4 years and it is a huge hit and miss. One week the chop suey and chicken is yummy and the next week the sapasui had probably the whole pepper tipped in it and it was so hot. I dont know what's going on there. Different cooks? Dont know the recipe? Very disappointed. The food is so expensive. Yesterday we bought 3 plates of food Which 2 taro in each plate, sapsui, crabmeat in 1, chicken curry, fried chicken in 1, 1 povi masima in 1 $85 The potatoes in the curry weren't cooked. Do you know what potatoes that are good for boiling? Potatoes with dirt are for boiling. Other potatoes are for salads or roasting. The povi masima was not tender. The taro were hard as rock. If you're going to charge an arm and a leg for food then make sure the food is up to scratch. I had the runs from the uncooked potato and it was not pleasant. Straight up food poisoning maybe I should report to Health Authorities. Doubt I'll be back to this shop. Im better off cooking at home. Thanks but no thanks.

Friendly and welcoming service staff. Great tasty food and it just makes you feel like you’re back home in Nz when you walk in with all the food and snacks surrounding you. Even the tubs of ice cream ahhhhh Thank you for catering to the homesick kiwis cravings. Just a friendly word of advice, it may be good to be more considerate and mindful with choice of music being played, as a few of the many times I’ve walked in whilst elderlies are inside also, I’ve heard trap/rap:gangsta music lol nothing big but maybe try play more kiwi or pacific songs as we have a lot of elderly walk in. That’s the only one advice other than that everything is great!!

Definitely recommend this store as well as catering service. Very pleasant family store to come in and buy things from. Rebecca is an amazing person to have the pleasure of knowing and both me and James have never been disappointed, they go above and beyond the call of duty, bringing Aotearoa into Melbourne....always love ordering seafood trays too from this store, only to leave wanting more cause it is so freshly packed....Thank you again Rebecca and her Kiwi Pacific Family, you definitely help bring Family together through your food❤....Victoria and James Tooala

I found da food dea good but could beta i got raw fish it wz $6 n it wz terrible no taste no flavor my makes beta raw fish da fried chicken wz bad taro wz bad all da food wz terrible da povi masima wz bad its sad i had to travel 40mins to gt dea n b4 i left i bought 2 pineapple moon pie 2 large 2 cookietime 1 macaroon biscuit 1 large mango drink dat cost me $47 i jst used my card n tap it only wen i gt hme i dn saw hw much it was i tried calling dm several times bt no one answer da phone it seems dat i wz over charged i wont b gping bk any time soon pitty dat

Been shopping here since it opened and have always been greeted with a friendly smile from the staff.and the owners ... the shop gives you a feeling of being home when we are so far away , they always have my favourite goodies in stock and can guarantee a great hot array of polynesian cuisine and delicatessen , a huge variety of nz groceries and my fav lion red and purple goannas......love coming here glad to have a shop that brings home to melbourne thanks lolua jstyla you rock

*****FOOD POISONING!! Charging $32 for 1 suppa is criminal then finding some of it to be off? Are they kidding? At $17.90 a kg u would think top quality but their chop suey smelt and tasted funky azz! I read heaps of comments below saying the same thing so they know about it but they still serve it? I had 1 spoon spat it out & had food poisoning for 2 days! Throwing up hardout Would not recommend honestly avoid at all costs

BRING AUNTY BLACK MAINESE BACK (Cook Island Potatoe salad) The people now are not making it the proper Cook Island way, our potatoe is not crunchie an we don't have pepper an spring onion in it. A Cook Islander knows their dish an Kiwi Pacific and Foodworld are not making our dish properly. Staff are lovely and food is always delish! I usally take my own watties sauce to use but last weekend i left disappointed cause I covered my meal with their watties tomato sauce they had for public to use and that definitely wasn't watties sauce. So my partner and I had a unpleasant $50 meal. FOOD DON'T TASTE GOOD IF IT AIN'T WITH WATTIES! Should have at least ripped off the watties label.

I love that I am able to find a slice of home in Melbourne. Only downside is that the chopsuey needs a new recipe. It wasnt very good, had a weird taste to it that you should never taste when eating chop suey. Please know that I mean no disrespect, but if Im paying for something to eat I at least expect it to taste good.

Order food on line for a 21st on Saturday all paid for and confirmation received. Went to pick up at selected time only for my family to be let down as they hadn't prepared the order. I know people make mistakes ,but they didn't even apologise for stuffing up my order. Fix up your customer services please

Love visiting this store to get our supply of NZ goodies. They have a wide variety of foods and snacks including Watties tomato sauce and reduced cream to make onion soup dip. If you are looking for something in particular, just give them a call before you go! Staff are very friendly.

When ever I visit I spent more then 80$ because the food is good. Today I spend roughly the same amount, im 30minutes away and when I got home the chopsuey had a off smell and it taste off, sad coz my younger son loves chopsuey and was looking forward to it. Very disappointed.

Hmmm was looking for a decent feed, sadly wasn't what I expected from this kiwi shop. Not much variety of cooked food available. Caramel donut tasted like coconut cream bun filling, not fresh at all. Mainaise was yuck! Friendly customer service though...

I know the owner of this business, They work so hard to keep there customers happy and there staff standards for customer services are very high. They always put customers first but sometimes they can't always be in the shop to keep an eye

Unsure, but brought 2 bowls of food and 2bottles of otai, it costed $83,00!!! Which I went Adam before and got the same food bowls and it only cost $39.00? Plus no receipts are given or asked….so definitely not going back for take out.

Lamb buns were dry & disgusting Hot food was set up as self serve which i find disgusting considering everyone using the same scoops&tongs. Good for the groceries but wouldnt recommend the hot food at all - pretty disappointing

Sanitize your hands and scoop up as much as you want and they charge by weight…the food is soooo gooood! I won’t say much, just check out my pics. They taste as good as they look. The staff there are all so friendly too.

The perfect shop to go to if you miss snacks from New Zealand they sell my favourite lollies at the store and they have other Pacific Island snacks too they also sell cooked food. They are open early in the morning

Discovered this place to get all my kiwi essentials that l haven't had in 10 years when l came back home. Will be going again to get my bluebird chips reduced cream and onion soup. And also my tui tomato sauce.

The food is hit and miss but best not buy faaausi on Sunday as it was from the day before. Spent $24 on both containers just to go in the rubbish because the coconut cream was off and the whole thing went stale

Good food and good service. I dropped my food like a banana, and the staff apologized to me,becos I dropped it lol.. but very nice staff. Only downside is, I've gained weight since discovering this great place.

Loved everything we bought. From the hot food we ate outside to the Coconut buns we took home and devoured! Reminded me so much of how my dad made them :) Staff were super friendly. Can't wait to go back!

NZ snacks are affordable here. Love it, and i always have to leave with items Not a fan of their meat pies though. Stores always full with customers and never keep their distance, staff are also lovely.

Good to have a local with all the kiwi and Pacifica favourites. Although they may need to keep an eye on their expiry dates on packaged foods. Had bought some chips that had about a week before expiry

In Sydney you go to either the Fijian Indian and/or the NZ Snackfood company for your Kiwi snacks but the hot food is far and few in between, in Melbourne you go to these guys for everything

Typical selection of popular NZ dry goods, and Samoan hot foods. Thankfully the store had what I was looking for. It may be worthwhile, to call ahead and see, if they have what you’re after.
