I had ordered the pizza with cherry tomatoes and rucola. La Griglia uses whole wheat flour for the pizza base. Therefore this variant creates a very tasty experience. Nothing against the fine wheat flour based pizzas yet sometimes the taste buds are happy for a change . Definitely will come back for trying the gnocchi . I came for the gnocchi. Had them with a gravy made from 4 different cheeses. As good as the pizza yesterday . All good things happen 3 times On the evening before we left Mestre had s simple but all time favourite: spaghetti al pomodoro. Wishing the team of La Griglia a prosperous and happy future

Pasta, gnocchi and pizza have vegetarian options (that's not a secret ). But here at La Griglia you can even go for a complete vegetarian menu (primi/secondi).

Abbiamo cenato in coppia, purtroppo ci sono stati dei piccoli problemi di comprensione, che nel complesso ha abbassato la valutazione. Premetto Comunque che lo staff era gentile. Abbiamo ordinato -Alette di pollo: molto buone -Menù vegetariano, burger e verdure grigliate, di cui però il burger non era disponibile quindi abbiamo preso un insalata con gamberetti e tonno (poco presenti) - filetto al pepe verde ma è arrivato il filetto semplice, comunque cotto bene. Come scritto sopra lo staff era gentile ma purtroppo ci sono state incomprensioni durante le ordinazioni. Il locale un po’ spoglio.

Just had a lovely meal here with some friends, and wanted to give a good review, but also make a couple of comments. We would have appreciated beer available in larger bottles or on draft (currently only 330ml bottles available). Would it be possible to offer bread on the table as an option, rather than just breadsticks. That said, the food was excellent, with all 3 of us having opted for different meals and nobody being disappointed. We would definitely go again and would recommend it to friends.

I came here on the strength of another review here, and couldn't agree more. Excellent quality food (as far as I can judge, as a non-Italian) -- had to wait a bit but the friendly owner was apologetic about staff being off sick, and it was worth the wait anyway! With some warmer lighting and a little décor spruce-up, the space would match the restaurant quality food and plating presentation. I would return here happily. Had a lovely chat with the owner after my meal, with a shot of Amaro Montenegro on the house :) Thank you!

Great location! Despite visiting during peak hours, the atmosphere remains relaxed and enjoyable. The staff is exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and proficient in offering recommendations. Scelto per le recensioni positive e per la vicinanza al mio hotel, non volevo entrare non mi attraeva molto!! Locale piccolo ma curato all'interno. Abbiamo preso una tagliata di carne molto buona, ed una porzione di fegato alla veneziana anch'esso buono ed una bottiglia d'acqua! Totale 37 euro, prezzo nella norma!

Great dinner indeed. The food was first class, from Penne Arrabiatta to Steak. Good wine with the food. All to a reasonable price. Nice girls serving the dinner. We found the atmosphere thow pretty cold... in both meanings... the interieur and the much too cold temperature. Also the music was a bit too loud to out ears Still, the food was just excellent and that is what counts

Do not let interior be a decision factor! It's an absolute must try food. Whatever you order. Very tasty! And portions are huge. Beef stake is almost as good as in USA! And this is quite a compliment. Menu is to big and confusing. Interior is not something you want from a restaurant in Italy. Yet it's an absolute gem in this area. Best possible value/money variant.

On our way to the restaurant, the other customers were already hyping the food and not for nothing! The service was fast and friendly and the portions arrived in 10-15 minutes. Literally the best pasta carbonara I've ever hadThe only suggested change would be dimmer lighting and a slightly sharper knife for cutting the pizza

Don’t know what the comments about the small portions were all about. The portions were big enough. Food was tasty and the service was great. The waitress had a big smile for us and made sure to come back every now and then to check if everything was fine. Prices were also lower than anticipated. Totally recommended

Food is excellent and prices are very reasonable. Service is prompt and courteous. The atmosphere is very nice. We ordered the spaghetti carbonara, spaghetti frutti di mare and also spaghetti pomodoro basilica. For desert we had the torturous Nero. One of the best places to eat near our accommodation on Via Durando. I recommend La Griglia.

It is really a nice place to eat,the food is really good although the portions are small, I asked Grilled fish for 2 and it was not enough because it doesn't bring side dishes or enough fish and we had to ask for 2 carbonara, something that is not nice after you ask for a 40 euro dish

Spent 7 months in Italy and La Griglia is easily one of the best spots I’ve been to. The seafood pastas are absolutely amazing! The service is really nice as well and they have a very good atmosphere as well. I thoroughly recommend this spot to anyone with the chance to go to it!

I’ve just had spaghetti seafood and is the best pasta I’ve had for as long as I’ve known. The spaghetti is cooked just right but the sauce is amazing. Despite being served a large portion I still wanted more. Perfect inexpensive Italian restaurant! You can’t go wrong here. So far it has been high praises fr my colleagues as well!

I tried this restaurant with my friends on holiday and I can assure you that the food is the best!! The waiters are always nice to me and ask me if I need something. Then their menu has a lot of delicious dishes, the desserts also amazing! Very recommended

Restaurant is now run by non locals(non italians). I think the pizzas are not made by them and they only buy them in some store. The pizza was good tough. The music was also unnecessary loud. In the mear area there are more authentic & better pizzerias with better prices.

Nice and cozy place. Its just right next to fountain. Food is really great and we love the service. Menu has 5 different languages which is very helpful. My daughter is very picky with food and the guy offered a free pasta for her to try on. Would highly recommend this place Love from Australia

Nice chewy crust! But the atmosphere needs help. TURN DOWN THE LIGHTS! Felt like we were about to be interrogated.
