On our recent trip to Quebec City, my sister discovered La Molette. What a discovery! This bakery is fantastic. The products are fresh and delicious. It's hard to pick my favourite item, but I think it was the "concha," the vanilla one. We met one of the owners, the baker and other staff; everyone was lovely and helpful. We stayed in the city for almost a week and visited the bakery most days. We even bought food to take home. If you're Hispanic/Latino, you must go to La Molette. Everything tastes like in our countries. If you're not Latino, no problem. You should also go and check out how tasty everything is.

What a beautiful experience!! This place has an incredibly warm cozy atmosphere with various places to sit and talk and eat. I spent my first early morning hours here both days that I was visiting Quebec. They have a cozy nook cushioned sitting area on looking the charming street where I watched the passerbys, reflecting and enjoying the sounds of my hot crunchy croissant and delicious coffee. Beautiful moments. Staff was very sweet and excellent coffee and baked goods. Would recommend the croissant

Very impressed by La Molette! I would say that they have the best croissants in town. So soft and buttery and fresh. I also loved their cheese empanadas quite a lot. We were in Quebec City for two days and we got our morning fix from here on both days! Other plus points: good music, good enough seating space, kind staff and service, rich coffee. If you’re in QC, and are on the lookout for delicious croissants and baked goods don’t miss out on La Molette. You’ll definitely regret it otherwise.

Don't be fooled by the FOV of the picture. The churros are NOT that big :P If you want fresh churros, be there around 12pm, else you'll get an old batch (they don't make them fresh by order). You can choose the coating: sugar or cinnamon + sugar. You can also have them stuffed, but they are very cheap with the stuffing; Mine only had a few drop of dulce de leche in them. Apart from that, the churros themselves are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. About 3$/ stuffed churro.

This place is just amazing, since you get in you can feel a great vibe from the kitchen, counter top and all the way to the entrance. Even you're not Latin, please try something different else besides croissant and brioche from the traditional boulangerie. Just try one of each and don't forget a hot chocolate ( real fresh ingredients) not your cocoa powder or cocoa liquid with water, taste the way it suppose to be. Ps:I would gave them just 3 stars.... . . . But Michelin

The cafe latte's are smooth, bold roast with a wickedly delicious milk froth. The pain au chocolat is buttery goodness. The flaky layers melt in your mouth. There is an adequate amount of chocolate filling that winds its way through the mouth-watering bites of pastry. The sandwich du conchinita was quite tasty. The ciabatta bun was toasted lightly and the pulled pork was delicious with the pickled onion a great addition to the flavour. A great start to the morning!

Great multicultural café adding a great touch of diversity to the neighborhood. The owners make a great effort to introduce customers to baked goods from different cultures. The pão de quejio is a favorite! They have coffe and tea beverages at good prices and even give you a discount for choosing plant-based milk. They recently expanded their space and is an excellent place for both grabbing something to eat and to stay for a coffee.

Great café with mind-blowing croissants and "pain aux chocolats". By far, those two pastries were the best I've had in my life. The cappuccino I took was also excellent, and the ambiance is comfy and makes you want to stay inside instead of facing the cold, frigid weather (-27°C when I came to visit). They're open on Saturday mornings as well. I wholeheartedly recommend eating breakfast or lunch here.

If you want to find some Latin American bakery, I recommend this place. There are recipes from Mexico, Brazil and Colombia. A wonderful taste and a cultural trip like no other! With the added advantage of the always warm welcome of Angela, Rafael and Ulises! you really won't be disappointed! I like their churros!!!!!!

This café is a great discovery. I came on a trip from Montreal and this café happened to be near my Airbnb, and I’m grateful for that! Nice staff, cozy atmosphere, tasty latte, and I also tried their new ginger brioches, they were amazing. Will totally keep this spot in mind when I come back to Québec city!

My husband and I made a point of trying this bakery while visiting the city for a very quick trip. I am so glad we did. Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly. We brought home treats for our kids and everything was well recieved. Delicious food, cozy vibe. Highly recommend!

I came upon this bakery walking along Rue Saint-Jean. I have eaten my shares of churros but I tried the other bread and its texture and taste is different. It was very good. The service was excellent and I can tell the bread are made fresh daily. Definitely worth a try.

Merci !

Really cool spot. Was looking for an authentic bakery that sells croissants, baguettes, etc. This place was awesome. Great staff and great food. All bread baked on premises, and once you order, it comes out fresh.

Really great bakery! I'm a Brazilian living in Quebec so I missed some tradicional breads from Brazil (Pão de queijo, Pão francês...) so I was very happy to find this place, and it's too quality. Looking forward to coxinhas being added to the menu!

  • Kilia Schilling

I would definitely recommend going to this boulangerie when you are in Québec! The staff is so sweet, the baked goods are awesome, and the beverages tasted amazing. The location is so sweet and has plenty of seating options.

La Molette has amazing staff and better food. The empanadas and churros are worth the visit alone, but the cafe has so much to offer. In addition the staff was extremely friendly and explained the products well.

Oh man! What a find! Delicious brioche with guava from Columbia, Mexican donuts but the pièce de résistance was the caramel filled churros. Unbelievable. Didn't think churros could be any better. Well done
