I have heard bad things about this place before, such as exploiting their young workers, so I really should have seen this coming. Anyways, I ordered my 1 pizza (a family pepperoni) at 8:10pm on Saturday night, and for it to be delivered by 9:15pm, cost a ridiculous $31 dollars. 9:15pm rolled around, still no pizza, I give it 15 minutes until at 9:30pm I decide to ring up. I was on hold for about 5 minutes until a man told me its leaving now and should be 6 or 7 minutes away. It was not 6 or 7 minutes away, instead it finally arrived at 10pm, 45 minutes after the agreed upon time. Not only was the pizza delivered extremely late, the 3 of us who ate it suffered food poisoning, so that was just a great way to ruin our Sundays. If you are looking for a pizza place that has poor service, gets you sick and doesn't care about their workers nor their customers, then this is the place for you! Otherwise stay away at all costs, go to Da Vinci's in Diamond Creek, or even Dominos, at least you can get a pizza on time!

Asked if pizza could be delivered to door in bag as in winter twuce got our pizzas delivered in super cool state. We needed to heat them again waiting 30 mins longer to eat. This happened twice. Was ordering tonight when i asked for it in a heat bag. And , customers aren't always right at lasera. Reply , was yeah they dont bring to door sometimes they take them out. I am an ex chef, i have also worked many pizza houses, clearly this is not acceptable practice. Lasera sera , this family and all local friends, family Will never cross your door way again. Shame on you, it is my right to ask for a bag . It is not your to give me mouth. Yes would of been quite sufficient. You lost the order . Now youve lost customers. I have asked for my money to be returned, apparently shop staff can mouth off but not repay. I will make a civil court case if my money is not returned within 24 hours of time of order. WHAT HAPPENED, YOU STARTED OFF GREAT . A PLOY MAYBE TO SUCK PEOPLE IN. YOUR FOOD , DELIVEEIES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS CERTAINLY LOST ITS STARTING MOMENTUM. NEVER EVER AGAIN. SO RUDE.

Like so many others, the delivery of the pizzas was extremely late. We ordered on line where it stated a 45 min approx delivery time. We ordered at 6pm on a Sunday night so delivery should have been between 6.45 and 7pm. At 7.20, and with a hungry crew waiting for food, I rang and was told 15 minutes. At 7.55 the pizzas arrived, nearly two hours after ordering and one hour and ten minutes after stated delivery time. If I had known the real delivery time, I would have happily driven and picked them up sooner. Also, the pizzas taste seems to have declined. We used to love eating La Sera, they always seemed fresh and were very flavoursome but this last delivery there just didn't seem to be any taste to the pizzas, which after waiting so long, was very disappointing. I hope La Sera lift their game, but for now I think I will use a different pizza outlet.

Check your delivery upon arrival. On my first delivery I was missing drinks but didn’t worry about telling them about something so minor. On my second delivery I was charged $16 for delivery not $9 as their app. And the second pizza I ordered didn’t process at their end - admittedly I wasn’t charged for it. So I thought I should call them to advise, sadly the response was ‘oh well you should have told us about the drinks and I’m not sure why the app states $9 it should be $16 because drivers don’t like going that far’ Who’s running the show?? I then advised I wouldn’t be ordering through them in the future due to their lack of cate and the response was ‘ok’. Not even an apology or an offer of replacing drinks on the next order! Clearly not enough competition in the area.

Terrible service delivery took 2 hours when advised 45 min when I place my order. I called La sera to question when I was getting pizzas they said they were about to cook them I said I wanted a refund and they said no refund is offered and they are just busy and he hung up on my face! No apology or compensation offered. If you cannot fulfill orders and are so busy you should turn off your ordering system or advise customers of the long wait. You should also stop degrading your customers by calling them darling. So rude when you hung up on my face. To top it off I had a hair in the pizza!! Disguising service and I will never use or recommend la sera

My son ordered one pizza online , and it took 2 hours to arrive . In 2 hours he could have hopped on a train dined in the cbd and come home again ! Rang store to find out what the hold up was and was told they were busy and don't specify delivery times . I asked for either 1. Remittance on my card for part of the $30 charge or 2. A full refund so that he could order elsewhere . Apparently when you order online La sera take no responsibility for that payment , if your not happy you have to take it up with the 3rd party that you ordered through online no refund possible . Maybe give this mob a miss for a while til they sort out their business practices .

Poor customer service and professionalism. Ordered with an estimated 60 minute wait for delivery. At 75 minute wait with no contact, called to enquire as to how far away it was. Was told by the female employee on the phone that it was another "10-15 minutes wait mate". At almost a full hour after estimated time, was told "don't know when it will get to you, might be another 10-15 minutes" as they were 2 delivery drivers down, but still expect to receive full payment including $10 delivery fee for inadequate service. Won't be ordering again, and will be passing this feedback onto others.

We regular customers who support local businesses specially during this Covid 19, tough times. Last night picked up two pizzas, when we got home & found the quality was very poor compared to previous times. Being a Friday night there was a huge crowd & behind the counter there was a large team of staff working like crazy. So I would like to do give the benefit of doubt and perhaps inexperienced new staff. The pizzas were very poor quality, so please try to improve the pizza quality to the good like it used to be in the past, otherwise sadly we will go somewhere else!

Without doubt my favourite local pizza shop. Always an amazing meal regardless of what you order. Phone orders are as simple as, and they even keep your name in their system to further speed things up, would definitely recommend phone ordering and then picking up for convenience. Can at times have lengthy waits, but this is usually only on weekend peak times, so just phone ahead and have no issues. Delivery service is also very prompt and doesn't have too much of an added cost. Couldn't recommend them any more!

I rang to confirm the 3 pizza deal prior to ordering. When I picked up the pizza they charged an extra $7 and denied the phone call about the deal. The pizzas were for an organisation that cares for disadvantaged children, it was a big deal for us to order pizza and we have a very tight budget. We didn’t even get the drink that deal claims to include. What a scam and lack of concern or ownership and the arrogance from them was abhorrent. One star for awful customer service.

Have been eating here for years and used to enjoy their pizzas. In the last year it feels like the quality has dropped a lot. Pizzas have occassionally come very late, along with mixed up orders and missing items. Ordered a hawaian and potato pizza and potato ranged from cooked to raw. Additionally pineapple pieces were half frozen. The pizza itself is often oily or greasy and doesnt taste that great as well. Recommend going anywhere else

Delicious pizza!! My Grandpop Max has been going here for years. Hawaiian pizza with mushrooms - he says it is the best pizza ever, and he has had a lot of pizza over his 87 years. Now, he has passed on the obsession. My partner calls it the only place that still does the old school "real pizza". Yum! We live 25 minutes away but still travel to pick up from La Sera - it's that good!

Website says an hour for delivery, 1hr and 45mins later I call to see where it is and told it would be at least another 20mins before it even leaves the shop. Asked why the wait was not updated on their website and received an extremely sarcastic reply. Cancelled my order. This lateness happens all too often without apology.

Ordered at 8pm food never came. Order was confirmed for delivery 70 minutes after we placed our order. No contact. No food and Not Happy. House full of hungry people. Can’t contact anyone regarding this as they don’t pickup the phone messaged their Facebook account and messages seen and not replied to! Absolutely atrocious behaviour!

Always a favorite. Only negative is that I told them my name was Isaac when I called once because my real name is too hard to convey over the phone and for the last 3 years I've had to keep up the act because now some of them call me Isaac when I walk in.

The pizzas have a good amount of topping, the usual varieties as well some more unusual ones such spaghetti Bolognese and smoked salmon. They also do pastas and desserts. Delivery is usually faster than advised so keep an eye out for the them …

Their pizza unfortunately has to compete with Henry Hursts in Hurstbridge which is in a class of it's own in the North East. However their ribs are the best I've found out this way. The thick cut chips are great too. Oh, and they sell chinotto!

Classic full menu (Spaghetti Bolognese pizza is where it's at), great selection of pastas and pizzas. Be sure to pick up a menu and try any of their food items. Cooked well, great ingredients. It is up there with quality that is hard to beat.

I live near lilydale and you can get a pizza over here like la sera's they are amazing!! Shame there isnt one closer by. I love their pizzas always plenty of topping and the seafood pizza has heapsvof seafood on it. Highly recommended!!!!

Garlic pizza had so much garlic on it, it was inedible, both Parmas had next to no sauce on them, both were soggy and worst of all, the chips were all over the TOP of my the Parmas so they were stuck to the cheese! So upsetting :(

The pizza is fine, but don't expect any niceties when you ring up to order. We don't buy from this shop often because I'd rather support a business that cares enough about their customers to train their staff properly.

Estimated 50 min delivery , delivery took 2hrs, definitely rip off when paying top dollar for delivery. Pizza arrived and was luke warm, to top off this experience, it was not the greatest tasting pizza. Never again!!!

Pizza is great but delivery is not. Plan you ordering for delivery 1 hour before you start to get hungry as it can take 1.5 hours or longer to get a deliver that is only 10 minutes from your home.

Waited 2 hours for a delivery that was supposedly meant to take 40 minutes. Arrived Luke warm and was lied too when a follow up phone call was made. Disgraceful, will never buy from here again.

Sent my son down, and was told it was a 35 min wait, ended up 90 minutes, no communication, should have offered the truth so he could organise something else.

What's remarkable about this place is that it is open at 10pm. Pizzas were loaded with ingredients, but me and my friend found the crust a little too doughy.

A fare bit more expensive for a take away pizza that was ordinary to say the least. Maybe it's just me because I'm not a yuppie hipster. Food for thaught.
