For our meal, we had the Arancini, Tagliatelle al Pollo, Margherita, Tiramisu and Cappucino for a total of $113. Below is each meal broken down - Arancini - This was amazing, the best arancini we have had. The ingredients used in the Arancini were perfect from the Provolone which was creamy and had a sharp taste. The sauce was both sweet and tangy, tasted fresh and seasoned perfectly. Finally, the sweet pea risotto was cooked perfectly inside and combined everything to make the best aranci we have had. Tagliatelle al Pollo - This was just 5/5 across the board delicious, filling and beautiful to look at. The chicken was cooked perfectly and tender, the sauce was so flavourful with a nutty finish, garlicky taste and bold taste. The sun-dried tomatoes elevated the sauce with its slightly smoky and caramelized undertone and finally, the tagliatelle was thick, and tender and absorbed the sauce to marry all the flavours together. Margherita - The Marg was incredible as well, to keep it short the only thing I would have asked for is a bit more crispy and bubble on the edge but aside from that perfect. The crust was thin and still crispy and you just know the difference between good and bad dough. The sauce was just like the tomato sauce and had a great tang and seasoning to it. The cheese was one of the best fior di latte cheeses I have had and just wanted me having more.

Came with my girlfriend here for Valentine’s Day. I booked 3 weeks in advance and there was only a few slots available as everything had been pre booked. We were seated in the lower level. We were informed that every table had an hour and forty-five minutes per reservation, which was more than enough time for a drink and meal. The atmosphere was very cozy and classy. The server was friendly and made sure all our needs were met. Before ordering our meals, we ordered some Chardonnay to kick off the night. I ordered the Pollo savoia (main course) and my girlfriend ordered the gnocchi ai quattro formaggi (fresh pasta). My girlfriends meal was very delicious, the texture was perfect. It was the perfect amount of creamy and cheesy. We’d definitely recommend it to someone who wants to order something simple but delicious. Definitely a 9.2/10. The meal I ordered was very well made as well. The chicken was well cooked and the cooked vegetables complemented the meal. We’d recommend this meal to someone who wants to try something new or different. Definitely a 7.3/10. At the end of our meal, the server gave us 2 pieces of heart shaped chocolates which was nice. Overall I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try fine Italian cuisine with a variety of options to choose from. With all factors considered, I’d rate this wonderful restaurant an 8.3/10!

La Vecchia is a fantastic Italian restaurant that offers a wide range of delectable dishes that will delight your taste buds. It is quite busy because of its popularity. But from the moment you walk into the restaurant, you are greeted by a warm and inviting ambience with an amazing interior and environment. I tried the white sauce pasta, bruschetta and vegan pizza during my first visit to La Vecchia, and both the dishes were out of this world. My friend recommended me this place recently and the dishes I tried were worth it. The pasta was well-seasoned and perfect blend of herbs and spices. The vegan pizza and bruschetta were also excellent, with the crispy crust that was just the right thickness and an assortment of fresh, flavourful toppings that complement each other perfectly. The pizza was incredibly satisfying and made me appreciate vegan food in a whole new light. The servers were also super friendly and were constantly making sure that all the customers are taken care of. Overall, I highly recommend La,Vecchia to anyone who is looking for an amazing Italian restaurant with fantastic white sauce pasta, bruschetta and vegan pizza.

First of all, I will make my comment without targeting anyone. I just wanted to write because I was disturbed by the treatment I received. We had dinner here with my best girlfriend. It was disturbing from the very beginning that it was repeatedly emphasized that we had two hours from the moment we sat down. I don't think we have to drink wine or eat dessert at every restaurant we go to. Our feelings were as follows: Two young women who do not want to spend money have come and will have a shared meal and leave. They constantly came to the table to check whether the meal was finished, and after an hour, the attendant came and asked if we wanted our meal to be packaged. We left because we were uncomfortable. When we asked for the bill, they brought it to us as 1 bill without even asking. When we said we wanted 2 separate bills, he said, "I wish you had told me this in advance so that my work would not be disrupted." We encountered a reaction like this. There was no need to complain without asking us about this. There was no problem with the taste of the food. Both pizza and pasta were delicious. But will I come again? I do not think so.

A few days back I went to this place in uptown and I had to share my experience here because everything was perfect! You’ll feel like you’ve stepped into Italy as soon as you enter this place because of the cobblestone work inside and not to mention the staff who are amicable and will ensure you have an authentic Italian dining experience. We were hungry so we wanted to try their main dishes and ordered their four cheese pizza and tagliatelle al pollo to share. The tagliatelle was perfectly blended with pesto and sundried tomatoes- with the parmesan on top, it tasted delicious! The pizza was also top notch and I wished we tried the meat variations. Maybe next time! They also have a very large collection of wine that you can pair with your food that I’m surely going to try next time I’m there. However, for this time, we tried their Shirley temple that was also very well done.

Came here for a weekday lunch, and had the prosciutto cotto e funghi pizza and tiramisu for dessert. The tiramisu was AH-mahzing!! Possibly the best I've ever eaten, at least in Canada The pizza was good too, tasted excellent, I prefer a thicker softer crust in a more Neapolitan style but that's just my personal preference. The service was excellent, staff very attentive and prompt. My server continually kept my water glass full without me asking, sounds like a small thing but it makes a difference, I always have to flag down servers to ask for water in other restos so I appreciated the care they showed at La Vecchia. The vibe is great, super chill with jazzy Italian music playing and all the customers and staff had a nice happy way energy. Definitely recommend this place! I'll be dreaming of that tiramisu tonight!

Just had dinner last night (Tuesday), and it was a great experience all around. The hostess was friendly immediately upon arrival. Francis is an awesome server; attentive, but not intrusive. Also appreciate that management is around and checking in that all is well. The pizza dough is DELICIOUS! Definitely glad that we went with this option as an appetizer. I had the Risotto al Gamberi, and the portion was a lot more than I expected, with a generous amount of shrimp, scallops, and mussels. The dish itself was nicely flavoured, although just personal preference, I would have liked it to have not been as dry. My husband had the Pollo Savoia (no mushrooms, and no veg, sub extra roasted potatoes) and he was very happy with his choice; said the dish was put together well.

Great food but if you are planning to spend the money and order an entire roast beef, I would avoid unless you prefer it mostly red and not super warm. Typically you would have a choice of different levels of cooked beef. Some well done, some medium and so on. For my experience it was not this way. Turkey was amazing and all the other food was incredible too. Dessert was amazing. Their party room downstairs is nice but very cramped for a large crowd.

Terrible experience and even after checking the signs and such for street parking a few blocks away, I still got a ticket...so not overly impressed.

The restaurant has a rustic feeling, which the food and its presentation match really well. The bourbon-amaro cocktail named after Ravenna was quite nice. After the antipasti I had the veal scallopini with mushroom sauce and vegetables—it was nicely prepared, flavorful, fresh, and not over the top with decorations or spices. The chocolate mousse with raspberry sauce on the side was also great, foamy but rich, and they have espresso or dessert wines for pairings, although personally I’m not quite sure about the gooseberry on top and in other dishes. Our server (Nelly? Sorry super bad with names here) was very attentive and explained things in a detailed and patient manner; just want to give a shout-out!

Hosted a 24-person post-wedding celebration in the private dining room. It was a great night with a fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, and a diverse drink menu. Special thanks to restaurant manager Jerry, and servers Alexander and another girl (apologies for not recalling her name). They were incredibly attentive. Jerry, easy to communicate with beforehand, frequently checked in during the event without disturbance. He efficiently resolved any issues during the event. The servers were attentive to detail, ensured a smooth process. A bonus was the private dining room's projector, allowing us to showcase our wedding video, I think our guests thoroughly enjoyed the night.

Visited this glorious place a walk-in and could not have been treated and cared for in a more hospitable way! The food was totally authentic and delicious! I consider myself as a foodie & I love Italian food. Love the ambience but unfortunately can’t say the same about the food. Been there a few times, very heavy on salt. I like my food on saltier side always but the food was too salty even for me. I expected the pasta dish to be the star of their menu but I was wrong. CS:We had to wait for a Table but when the table opened for us they moved the people who were sitting right at the entrance and gave us that seat but they didn’t offer us the same service and we had to sit right at the door and freeze the whole time. It was not our first time there but definitely would not go back.

We hadn't planned on eating here but when we passed by and the hostess was so welcoming and friendly. We actually went to another restaurant (CIBO) and the 3 hostesses stood there without saying hello or asking us if we need a table. After this we went back to La Vecchia and glad we did. We ate out at the patio. The atmosphere was so pleasant mainly because of the staff's excellent attention. The pizza was incredible. The pasta was ok. The Americano was delicious and the Italian beer so good. The price is fair and the quality of the place from their staff to food to details like being given real napkins and cutlery (during covid when everyone gives plastic/paper). It was a magnificent experience and I would definitely come again and suggest it to friends.

The quality of food was amazing. The Arancini balls are HUGE and tasty. The beets salad is good too, however the portion is underwhelming. Lamb chops are soo good The upstairs area is loud when it gets busy. Also cold drafts if near the door. The downstairs seating area feels more cozy. The service could have been better. A group of 8 were there for a party. The waiter did not seem like he was in a great mood and kept pressing us to order drinks. Overall it was good. Have also been other times, and the service was better. I do think the Lakeshore location is still better; more seating and just better managed. Overall this place is still good.

The Linguine seemed promising with its thoughtful sauce, but it ended up being too salty, leaving a bitter taste. Even though we like strong flavors, we couldn't finish it. Tagliatelle was good, though, so maybe the Linguine was just a fluke. The pizza was ok but not mind-blowing. Spending over $110 for two pastas and a pizza feels a bit pricey given the taste. The service was good, and the staff had helpful suggestions. The environment would be better if there weren't as many flies. Under normal circumstances, it should be a very good restaurant.

The braised beef ribs were melt in your mouth tender and perfectly seasoned. The pasta could have been a little more al dente and the seafood was fine. Definitely try the tiramisu! Excellent and attentive service and a romantic atmosphere with just the right amount of background music and conversation: enough for privacy but not too loud that it's a struggle to have a conversation.

Frutti di mare was simple and refreshing! The gnocchi tastes so good… just chewy enough, but not too dense or starchy, and the house made sauce was just the right ratio of herbs and spices to give flavour with a hint of spiciness. Wasnt too overly tangy either. I didnt take a photo if the salmon, but i found the salmon “ok” compared to the gnocchi. It was decently good but nothing to write home about. I also had their chocolate cake which is a safe and solid choice. Their cappuccino really hit it home for me at the end of the night!

This is one of my favourite Italian ristorante in the neighbourhood (Younge and Eg). The food is really delicious. I had tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and the flavour of the mushroom was so robust and well balanced with the cream sauce! It is slightly on the pricier side, but it is totally worth it! The staff are also really friendly and welcoming! I sat at the patio, enjoying the music and drawing. The manager introduced me to an Italian digestif which was sweet, aromatic and so refreshing! I highly recommend this place :)

Anyways hospitality is amicable with exceptional food. They have a in house specialities like the chilli oil which they give you along with the pizza. I will definitely recommend the Rigatoni Romani as well the Tiramisu. They were both scrumptious to the core.

Wow, what a beautiful restaurant this is. With a cozy ambiance, impeccable service, and delicious food, what more could you ask for? Our server offered us freshly baked focaccia bread that wasn’t on the menu, and served it to us with this amazing homemade chili oil. It was divine. I’m a mushroom lover and they have lots of dishes with mushrooms in it, and with drops of truffle oil (loveeee it). I especially love the tagliatelle al funghi porcini. Simple yet tastes amazing. We also had a raw beef appetizer with arugula on it, and I don’t even eat raw meat but that dish blew me away. So delicious. I don’t have the appetizer picture because we simply couldn’t wait to dig in and forgot to take one. Though the prosciutto e funghi’s prosciutto isn’t what I was expecting.

I have been to a few Italian restaurants both in and out of the country, and I have to say this is somewhere in my top three. Our server was Alex, and his service was amazing. Helpful on the menu. attentive, and made sure me and my wife were taken care of throughout the meal. I highly recommend the four cheese Gnocchi, though their specials for the day are equally amazing. If you have room, the desserts are pretty decadent. Plan on going again.

Bathrom was clean and well maintained. we make the reservations on advance so they prepared the tables, for our guests. we have a great time, we feel pampered, the waiter, the bartender, all make a great team, the pizza was great thin but flavory, we order the diavolo pizza wow its spicy lol, the ravioli and the sauce was very tasty I don't remember ordering a dessert. But we absolutely coming back.

Overall experience was 3/5. Margherita pizza and casarecce al ragu were not as good as many other local spots, wouldn't get again. Steak was excellent. Washroom was messy but could have just been bad timing. Decor and vibe was nice and there was outdoor patio seating as well.

I randomly found this place. I went there just for brunch but turns out it’s an authentic Italian place with all sorts of class and beauty. I ordered a brunch course followed by fruits and cheese and paired it with a glass of Rose. Absolutely loved the bar tender / server Jawahar and his service. It was only me and I must say they treated me the best. I am going back with my entire crew. Loved every bit of it. Toronto is showing its good old kind Canadian face again. ❤️❤️❤️

First of all, we loved our waiter. He was such a delight and engaged us in quick conversation which lightened our mood. Then the service was really quick. Also everything we had from the main courses to dessert was just delicious! The ambience of the place is so warm as well with its warm lighting and the mood of the restaurant can be best described as relaxing! Loved every inch of my experience there! We will definitely go back to enjoy the restaurant multiple times!!!!

Great pastas. The orrechiete had some unique flavors that I haven't had before and that I enjoyed. The pear salad was good but definitely overpriced for what it was. I felt I could make that salad at home for less than a quarter of the price. Otherwise service was great. Atmosphere was great, and we didn't have to wait long for the food.

Amazing place on Yonge and Eglington! The food is exquisite! I've never had a better Diavolo anywhere in Toronto! The olives and feta added another dimension to it! The pasta and the Risotto were great as well!! The vanilla icecream with espresso shot was perfection and the prosciutto with bufala was melting in the mouth!! Cozy ambience, they haven’t changed anything in the past 6-7 years except for the flooring. Friendly staff. We mostly had seafood. They were good but a little overcooked. My seafood saffron risotto’s scallops were very over cooked but the shrimps were perfect. The seafood salad’s seafood was also overcooked but they were refreshing. Mussels were perfect. Veal with lemon sauce was good but maybe the piece was too thin. Overall pleasant experience.

I came to the Yonge and Eglinton location for my birthday and had the most incredible experience!! The brunch menu had tasty options and the service was very impeccable!! Alex greeted me! The truffle pizza had no truffle on it whatsoever. Even a drop of truffle oil would have the taste of truffle. The “homemade” hot sauce was turned and flavorless (zero seasoning) and the lack of salt means they shouldn’t have kept it in room temp. The portions were big enough. First time dining in but will come back for sure, the dishes are very tasty and the service is great. Food taste better than most places I've visited in Italy. All of the dishes I've ordered were absolutely delicious. My favorite has to be the octopus and ravioli. Can't wait to try other dishes!

The food was disappointing. I had pizza, which felt like supermarket frozen pizza. The appetizers were meh too, and the bruschetta was the worst I had ever tasted. Our server was not really welcoming. I am not sure why there is such a high rating on this place. The only points were the beautiful atmosphere and the manager, Jerry, who was super nice. I am not going back.

We came on a Friday night at 8:45 and the restaurant was packed. The staff and decor of the restaurant were equally pleasant. We had the arancini, la Vecchia pizza, and orecchiette pasta. Highly recommend the la vecchia pizza! - it is packed with flavour, a hint of heat and perfectly balanced. The arancini was great on flavour but the exterior crust wasn't crispy.

Was debating either Grazie or this one, but thought this place has a better vibe when i looked at the photos on google map. Didn't expect to see so many ppl in a weekday lunch, but it was pretty packed. Servers were very attentive. I tried the buffala pizza, which tasted great but wish they chopped the prosciutto into bite-sized pieces. Exceptional vibe!

Sat outside for a wonderful meal that was full of flavourful fresh ingredients. Their espresso martini made with real espresso and a flawless tiramisu was the perfect end to a very enjoyable dinner. The inside looks romantic and cozy so when the winter weather comes I'm sure this will be a favourite spot for date night.

Came here for brunch and it was a good overall experience. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. We ordered the margherita pizza, steak and eggs, and the waffles. I’d say the pizza was def the best out of the 3 items. The steak was decent and the waffles were just okay. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. I’d def come back to try the pasta dishes.

Amazing ambiance, delicious food and great location. This place has an ‘old’ charm to it with its lighting and interiors. The food is reasonably priced and our server EYRAN was super courteous and made some great recommendations. Try the Grapefruit punch cocktail/mock tail, fresh tiramisu, vegetarian pizza, the eggplant etc. Definitely do recommend.

Went for a special occasion. From the grilled calamari to the pizzas and pastas numerous items on the menu were sampled. Everything was wonderful. Our server Alessandro really made it a special night. Tried the Salmon Pizza and it was incredible. The Cappellini Sardi Pasta is also exceptional.

The outdoor seating at La Vecchia is very nice and spacious. All of the food was flavourful, fresh & very tasty. Our favourite dishes from the night was the Melanzana alla Parmigiana (Eggplant Parmesan) and the San Siro Pizza. Other great dishes we had are the Capellini Sardi, Pesce Spada alla Griglia (Swordfish) and the Pera Salad.

They had opened up the glass doors at the front of the restaurant so we could enjoy a patio-like feel even inside. Lovely place for a summer lunch!

Came here on a Monday, arrived a bit early (530ish), we didn't have to wait, but it was quite packed before we left. The servers were friendly and quite knowledgeable. We throughly enjoyed out dishes. They have some yummy cocktails on the menu and an excellent selection of wine. I would definitely visit again!
