LaSalle Park is one of my favorite places to visit with family and friends. The park is incredibly spacious and offers ample parking with no charge, which is always a plus. The trails within the park are exceptional, and the sightseeing is breathtaking. However, the only downside is the lack of washrooms in the area. Overall, LaSalle Park is an excellent destination for a day out. The park's spaciousness provides ample room to spread out and explore, making it perfect for families and friends. The trails are well-maintained and offer a great opportunity for a nature walk or hike. And the views within the park are simply stunning. While the lack of washrooms can be inconvenient, it doesn't detract from the overall experience. I highly recommend LaSalle Park to anyone looking for a fantastic outdoor adventure!

Lovely place even when it is still a bit cold. Nice walk along the lake surrounded by birds, swans, ducks and other animals. They are so used to being fed by humans that will come to you and make your visit to the park even a better experience. All the benches tell a different story, celebrating the life of a loved one. Only realized how some swans make a "trumpet" like sound after reading so in a plaque on one bench. The place is filled with trumpeter and mute swans. Such a nice experience to feed them. Some can be very gentle but others a bit harsh so wear gloves if you can and if you are having a kid feeding them, be mindful of this too. Chipmunks and squirrels will get close and eat off your hand too. It was lovely and can't wait for the summer to be back and do the hike too. Strongly recommend!

I love coming here with my little princess and taking her for a walk down to the beach and along the boardwalk. She likes all the birds and enjoys all the smells along the trail!! One of her favorite places to go for a walk.
Playground
Great little playground area for the kids to run around on. There are open fields, baseball diamonds, and picnic areas too! Great for the whole family!
Dog-friendliness
This is a great place to bring your Fur Baby for some fresh air and trails! There are a few different trail options, a boardwalk, an open field area, and picnic areas near the playground up top. There is a little beach area that is full of ducks, swans and other birds. Just a beautiful place.

Really nice park to go for a walk. I would give 5 stars but honestly the people that come here ruin it for me. When you visit a park/outdoor space you should leave no trace. The swans are SUPER aggressive from people feeding them. Beware. I always have to pick up our toddler because they come right after her. It's annoying to see people taking selfies with swans all the time especially when the swans are hissing at them. The squirrels also come right up to you checking for food which is cute. They are usually eating nuts and seeds from the bird feeders.

LaSalle Park in Burlington is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a peaceful outdoor space to enjoy some fresh air. Its massive trees, scenic views, and quiet trails offer an enjoyable escape from the chaos of daily life. The park's greenery provides relief from the concrete jungle and you can quickly fall in love with the view of Lake Ontario. The trails in the park are perfect for both, a leisurely stroll and jogging too. It's a great place to relax and spend some quiet time in nature, far away from the noise of the city.

So many ducks, geese, swans and squirrels here! Great and calming place to view the lake and also do some bird watching. There's an area where some fishers set-up their spots and there is a decent easy trail that takes ~20-30mins to complete. The top of this park is flat and has a wedding hall so sometimes it's crowded - especially in summer when people setup picnic tables/bbq. There is also a baseball field nearby so lots of activities to do here.

Marvelous and beautiful summer picnic park in Burlington at 50 Lake shores North East Ontario. You can reserve the side park picnic spot by paying about $ 120.00. There are two picnic spots 1 and 2. You can enjoy outdoor swimming pool and outdoor play ground. Main entrance park building could be used for different families events like marriage ceremonies. Buetifull place for youngsters and families in summer picnic times.

I parked and made my way down to the lakefront and dock. It’s a great place to go for a hike with your family. Waterfront trail is loaded with wildlife and beautiful views of sunrise and sunset. There is playground as well and has washroom.basically park has two parking one which is located beside park and other one all the way down at the shore near dock.

I parked and walked down at the dock/water. It was so beautiful by the water and there is a nice trail/boardwalk. The geese, ducks and swans were having a great day together. They were quite vocal and it sounded like a symphony warming up. Squirrels and chipmunks could be seen gathering feed along the way and all of this nature made for a peaceful stroll.

Facilities ample for a family gateway and get together. Perfect for a weekend leisure and quality time with family and friends, kids shall enjoy too. Close to Marina, walkways and trail paths, landscaped gardens with its flora and fauna offer wide opportunity to spend your time as you desire. Ample parking space and public convenience facilities. Enjoy.

Great beautiful scenery here. Walks, picnics, adventures etc, everything you can do is here. The wildlife (Chipmunks, squirrels, goose, swans, ducks etc) is just so perfect when just going for a simple walk. Not to mention that you can book wedding events too. This place is just perfect all the time, especially during the pandemic.

I give this park a four because it has what I like. A quiet Friday morning walk through the woods, along the lakefront, swans, ducks, cormorants, chipmunks. There are picnic tables, children's play area and splash pad, barbeque pit. (And a fancy Pavillion for those wishing to rent for private use). Washrooms, free parking.

This is a very good park. There is something for everyone. I liked the variety and options. My kids loved the pool the only drawback is that their washrooms were out of service when we visited. The people were helping overall good experience.

Beautiful place. Highly recommended for all . Specially families and couples. Beautiful views of lake Ontario. There are many types of ducks, seagulls and swans. Good place to take pictures. Good number of benches to rest and eat, if you have brought your own food. Overall a very good place to visit.

Was here for a baseball game. They have a great kids playground and in the summer a really nice wading pool. Great trails to hike adjacent to the lasalle park marina and the park pavilion. They have restrooms that are wheel chair accessible. Lots of space for family picnics.

  • Fahad Saleem

It is a beautiful park. 1. Parking is easy to access 2. Washrooms are available in the park 3. Huge and vast park right at the side of a river 4. A lot of activities for children 5. Lush green park for picnic and other activities 6. Tobogganing in the snowy days!

Wow, this place is gorgeous. So many places to hang out and enjoy the outdoors. Lots of picnic tables and a big playground for kids. The pool/splash pad is amazing. I don't have little kids anymore, but if I did I'd hang out here. Clean bathrooms are there too.

  • Lauren Anastasi

I love this park. The play structure, wading pool, tons of picnic benches and good bathrooms for a park. There’s always a family with a habachi which I enjoy and there’s a decent amount of shade. Today I found out they are selling bbq at the pavilion. Bonus!

  • Neelanjana Mandal

Love this place. If you park in the la Salle park, you have to walk down a trail to reach the shore. But parking at La Salle marina will give you easy access to the shore. Lots of birds. Good for bird photography. There is a short trail. Good for walking.

  • Andrew Ducak

It's not a long hike, but La Salle is a vital part of Burlington that is not to be missed. It's an enjoyable walk with plenty of decent hills and slopes to get your heart rate up. Stunning sunrises/sets, great picnic area, huge splash pad in the summer

  • srikanth ramanujam

It’s one of our weekly weekend dog walking go to locations. The peace and the quiet coupled with the Marina views with the QEW bridge in the background coupled with wild life like geese, ducks and plenty of chipmunks and squirrels. What’s not to enjoy?

  • Jennifer Dodds

This park is beautiful. There is lots to do for families and the grounds are gorgeous. Take a walk on one of the many nature trails surrounding the park. Located next to the beautiful lasalle park marina. It doesn't get more serene than this!

  • Marta Laszczewski

A lovely walk along the lakeshore, super family friendly! A nice little beach area where the littles can throw rocks and check out friendly geese and Swans. At the end of it all you can play at the playground and sit to have a snack break.

  • Jeremy Schaller

Larger park than it looks on the map. A waterfront boardwalk, several forest trails, a marina, and lots of swans ducks and geese. Lots of space up top for picnics and a playground for kids. This is a nice place & I will be visiting again.

  • Thomas McCartney

Quite a good size park near the lake in the middle of the Aldershot region of Burlington. Lots of parking, a well constructed kids play area, a large pavillion where anything may be happening (local guitar jams, line dancing, kids yoga,

Of all of Burlington’s parks with waterfront access, LaSalle is my favourite! It’s got great walking trails, a large playground for kids, an outdoor pool, a marina, a pavilion. And the best part is it’s never overly busy.

So much variety here. Watch the birds, ducks, swans, chipmunks or the boats in the Harbour. Bring down a fishing rod too. Little trails and boardwalks, great for kids.

  • Brenton

Beautiful area, great park for kids or just to walk. The waterfront doesn't have the best backdrop with the steelmills but there are usually lots of birds around.

  • Chrystal Becker

We love LaSalle, many options for family gatherings ie Baseball, picnic, wading pool/splash pad, park, nature walk/hike, open field to set up outdoor games. More
