I am intrigued by the level of generosity and professionalism that goes into their provision of the service. In particular, Mr. Aziz who on the day was in charge of my bike repairs, carried out relevant mends and further advised me of the safety precautions I needed to take in order to stay protected on the roads. They are everything a successful business needs to be, prompt, honest, enthusiastic and willingness to finish the task. Needless to mention, the staff are highly knowledgeable with years worth of experience under the belt. Their inevitable unsolicited advice is always tailored to each unique customer to suit particular needs giving the rider peace of mind and assurance. A belief in customer's satisfaction at the core of the transaction is an essential element in dealings which the staff possesses. I couldn't recommend highly enough. Thank You.

Ladypool Cycles have time and time again provided superb services at brilliant prices. Aziz has spent time making sure that my bike is ready so that i can ride and has been very patient with me. The work that they do is top notch and you can tell that the mechanics are very experienced. They also have brilliant prices, especially compared to other bike shops, for everything from servicing you bike to replacing wheel bearings and will always try to minimise the cost for you by offering alternatives. I will 100% use them again and will definitely recommend them to anybody looking for a bike shop an will be using them again. We need to support local bike shops like this. Would give it 10/5 stars if i could as they went above and beyond.

Purchased my electric bike from these guys a couple of weeks ago using my works cycle to work scheme. These guys talked me through the process via e-mail and made it easy for me. Although some replies where slow, maybe due to them being busy I'm not sure, but they always got back to me and was always polite. Upon collection of my bike, the guy I dealt with was very polite and helpful, advising me on the best lock and other gear to get for the best cycling experience. After I had completed my transaction inside the shop, they guy who served me even proceeded to help me put the bike in boot which was above and beyond what he needed to do. Will definately be getting my next bike from here!! 1 negative- poor parking around the shop.

The shop is not far from city centre which is convenient. Because of lockdown the demand for cycles has gone through the roof. This is the only shop in Birmingham that had a larger sized hybrid bike in stock. I picked out the bike and came back the next day after it had been assembled. The staff was very knowledgable and gave me the pros and cons of each accessory I purchased. Prices are of course above online rates but this is to be expected when dealing with a brick and mortar. As part of each bike purchase you are given a free 6-8 week tuneup. This was a breeze to schedule and my bike was actually ready ahead of schedule. Bravo! I recommend this shop to all Birmingham locals.

Aziz was fantastic, went in on sunday looking for a BMX for my sons 7th birthday, i needed it for the coming Friday, Aziz brought up the lastest BMX bikes on his computer and we picked one that would be suitable/safe for my son. He said it wld be in store on Weds but i got a phone call from Aziz on the Tuesday saying it had been delivered and he had assembled it for us and ready for collection, i was so happy and i know my son will be when he gets it this saturday for his birthday. I would highly recommend Ladypool cycles to everyone, the service you will receive is amazing and the bike is top quality. Before going anywhere else try Ladypool cycles you WONT be dissapointed.

We've used Ladypool cycles in the past for 3 Merida Hybrid bikes service is excellent and advice on correct bikes outstanding. So when it was time to buy our granddaughter her first pedal bike there was only one place we were going. She came with us to choose the bike she wanted for her birthday and was allowed to try all the bikes that she liked. Great advice was given which bike was best for her and we all came away happy. Collecting the bike a week later was all fine for her birthday, always excellent friendly service and nothing ever too much trouble. Can't recommend highly enough for all your cycling needs, keep up the good work.

I highly recommend this shop. The owner is very helpful and as someone who is returning to the cycling fold after almost 40 years I was apprehensive at first but the owner has been very helpful and allowed me to test ride a powabyke (electric-bike) . Riding the e-bike is like having power assist - truly effortless. On the same day I went to visit a very large well known high street outlet of car accessories and bicycles . They allowed me to "test ride" inside the store. This is about as much use as an ashtray on a motorcycle. If you want service and knowledgeable advice - support the local trader and give the high street a miss!

I recently purchased a bike for my 7yr old from the guys at Ladypool Cycles. I am not local to them living 50 miles away and have a few independent bike shops in my area but these guys are amazing. I saw a bike online, called them and their customer service, knowledge and advice is second to none. I will be recommending them and won't go anywhere else in the future. My little lady is now confidently cycling and enjoying her freedom. Thank you again guys, I really appreciated the lengths you went to to get this all sorted for us during lockdown. I have one very happy little lady who can't wait to get out on her bike everyday.

I recieved careful attention from these great people in selecting and purchasing a folding bike for my commute. I was asked what my needs were, and accordingly they recommended one (a bike which was not the one with the highest price tag!) The shop is crowded--but not crammed--with bikes and accessories. This means that at times it is not easy to move around the space, but also that you're pretty likely to find what you're looking for. Very professional. Cyclists will love it -- I can recommend without reservations. I'm looking forward to going back in a couple of weeks for my free check-up.

I own a Boardman hybrid bike. Two spokes in the rear wheel got broken and the rim got bent. The wheel was wobbling. I took the wheel to Two different Halford service shops, and to a mobile bike doctor hired by my employer. All of them said they cant repair this wheel and suggested me to buy a new wheel which could cost me atleast £130. As a last attempt, i took that wheel to Lady pool cycles. They fixed the spokes and rim for £15. The wheel is stable and doesnt wobble anymore. I highly recommend this shop for any bike repairs. They know what they should do to fix the problem.

Immensely good service. From the moment my road bike entered its doors, I was informed every step on the way to its timely repair. It was done quickly and professionally. And their advice is self-interested and ever in the best interests of the cyclist. The staff are very knowledgeable on all bike matters and even the local geography being bike riders also. Their leisure is their profession and it is clear in all that they do. Friendly owners, run the local BoB cycling group. Great fun to be with. Great service, and excellent customer relations. Very satisfied. Alhamdulilah very happy to have made their acquaintance as the BoB cycling runs are so enjoyable and create an excellent environment! They even let me borrow a bike for a couple of weeks whilst I got mind repaired and serviced, and helped to source a new road bike. Definitely recommend the personal service. I remember visiting this store a while ago but i didn't like the attitude the staff displays in front of customers. I can't pretend it is a welcoming sight! The staff serviced my bike but I felt like I was being ripped off as I expected the staff to look at my bike thoroughly at once and give me a decent price rather than charging me afterwards. The shop looks well big bu the prices are a bit steep. I would like to see more discounts; vouchers etc when getting any kind of service done from here.

I don't know if Tina Turner has been to Ladypool Cycles but feel certain she's sung about them. It's not just the quality and speed of repairs or upgrades, it's the quality of the service; genuinely friendly, unbiased advice and great info to help you choose how much to spend. They get the measure of you from your wheels. Totally love this place. Always have lovely chats with staff and other customers. As Tina says they are "Simply the best, Better than all the rest"

I have both of my road bikes serviced at Ladypool Cycles, as they are busy I always find out when they can fit me in and make an appointment, as it's a family shop I find both brothers very friendly and accommodating, Bikes are always returned on time ready for the road. To date I've never had any negative issues with the service provided, I find they are competitive in their pricing and give value for money, no hesitation in recommending Ladypool Cycles to anyone.

I’ve bought three bikes for my kids in the last couple of days. Went to a well known independent store in Sheldon first, although they had a great range their customer service was shocking-would never recommend them to anyone. Came to Ladypool cycles and they’re a world apart. Have a good range of bikes but more importantly the service was spot on... ended up buying two bikes, when I only came in for one. I came in to the store with a Mongoose bike that was in really bad shape. Left it with ladypool cycles and got it back in 3 days. I was greeted by a very friendly gentleman and I was provided with excellent customer service. The bike was serviced, it had a new chain, new brake cables, new inner tube, all the screws/nuts were tightened and it now feels like a brand new bike! Thank you guys for the excellent service! 10/10

We bought an electric bike from here years ago, which has been excellent. I also have had bikes serviced here. The work has always been to a high standard but I think it is the customer service which is most impressive; you are not judged on your bike or the type of cyclist you are, all customers are treated with courtesy and all questions are treated seriously. Well with making the trip over from Kings Norton. A gem.

The owner of the shop has an outstanding knowledge of bikes and which one is suitable for which individual. I've been trying to buy an electric bike for weeks now and he did what no one else could. I highly recommend him to anyone. The shop is also full of plenty of stock of both bikes and accessories. Not only would I recommend him but his suppliers do to . Aziz's depth of knowledge and experience is second to none. His diagnosis of a cycle's problem are uncannily accurate. His service charges are quite reasonable and his work excellent. I had my son's bike fitted with new Shimano gears, a new chain and crank set. Could not have been more happier. He did a decent job and tested the cycle. Nice, upfront fellow who is honest and ethical in his dealings.

I haven't been in this shop for some time and I'm blown away at the improvements. It's modern and full of all the best cycles and cycle parts you could ever need. The staff member was friendly and went out of his way to help me choose the right back light and chain lube for my bike. I'm really chuffed as I don't need to go out of my way for my bike parts. Was told the bike would be ready within 3 days after a minor fault with cables. Rang couple of times, no one bothered to receive the call, finally got through the 4th day and was told will take another 3 days. Went to pick up on 7th day, was asked to come and pick the next day. Had to cancel the deal and got it fixed somewhere else.
