I’ve been going to Leela Eco Spa for about a year and few months - most of my experience has been great. My RMT is amazing and massage is great. Manager reached out to me and handled my concern professionally. I hope the receptionist look back on herself how she treated me today and do better next time with other customers in similar situations. Please listen to customers and do not brush them off. Admit that you can make a mistake and own up to it. I bought $150 gift card for myself last black friday from the website with 10% discount. I wanted to use it when I visited today to cover the portion after my insurance. I asked her if I needed to register the gift card I purchased and she told me she already has it on my profile. Then she tried to charge the gift card and told me that there’s no balance remaining on the gift card. I told her that I never used the giftcard since the purchase. She asked me if I am sure about it and I confirmed that I am sure. I asked her what and where things could have gone wrong and where would the discrepancy be coming from. I asked her if she has the records of charging my giftcard for any service on my profile if there’s no balance remaining - as they should if I used it. Instead of answering these questions she asked me again and again if I am sure that I did not use my gift card before. She did not check my billing history to see if anyone charged the giftcard. And the whole time she interrupted me multiple times before I finished my sentences and her tone was very dismissive. I could tell at this point that she’s just accusing me that I used up all my balance and that I am trying to use it again. I asked her if she can reach out to someone who knows the system better and she said she’s the ‘lead’ there and if she can’t find it then no one else will - and AGAIN asked me if I am sure that I didn’t use my giftcard before. She was so adamant that there’s no way there could be an error on her end the whole time. TURNS OUT that for some reason the invoice number your business issued me was different from the invoice number she had on my file, and all she had to do was to check the email I was willing and ready to show her to begin with. After all she just told me that I have to show the email every time I want to use the giftcard moving forward and she did not apologize for the confusion, waste of my time, interrupting me multiple times, or her dismissive tone. Only if she said simple apology like ‘sorry about the confusion’, I wouldn’t have written this long review. It is very unfortunate I had such experience today after all because the massage was really great. Just the 5 minute interaction with the receptionist ruined it all

I had a terrible experience at this Leela Eco Spa. When I arrived, the receptionist showed me to the change room which had flickering lights and lockers that weren't labelled. She explained that they had just renovated and so it was messy. That's all not a big deal though, I waited for the esthetician in the waiting area and had some tea. After waiting for half an hour, I found it odd and went to the front to ask the receptionist. She told me to wait while she checked. After waiting another 10 minutes, the receptionist returned and advised that the esthetician didn't even show up for work and they were unable to contact her. She apologized and offered to rebook my appointment with a discount of 15%. I told her that 15% wouldn't be sufficient for wasting 40 minutes of my time plus driving back and forth, that's more than a third of my appointment time wasted. And had I not asked, they wouldn't have even realized that the esthetician didn't show up, don't they know if someone doesn't show up for work?? She told me that the owner would give me a call to discuss further. It's been 4 days since that appointment and I haven't received a call from them. Obviously they don't really care about clients. What terrible service, I will never return and warn you to be cautious.

Received couples massage treatment and my wife left her necklace, which is of priceless sentiment value, in the room. Tried contacting the location via calling the only phone number that connects yo a central location im guessing. I was told someone will get back to me to no avail; after 4 hrs i called again and was told the same thing again to no avail! The called them again after 4-5 hours and this time i spoke with a female named Cindy, who was clearly in shock as to how they failed in contacting us back and was very concerned by that low level of service; she assured me that she be getting back to me in 15 mins with the results and sure enough 5 minutes alter we got the call advising that they have found the necklace and is in safekeeping! Thank you Cindy for your professionalism as it is the only thing that would result in us coming back to Leela after being a loyal customer for past 4 years! I want you to know we much appreciated your help!

I requested a last minute appointment online. I was contacted within the hour to confirm my request and to confirm my appointment via email/text. Booking online was super easy. Once we arrived at the spa we were greeted and taken back to the waiting area promptly. The front receptionist was friendly and courteous. The waiting area was clean and quiet. We were then brought into the room for the massage after waiting no longer then 5 minutes. The massages were amazing. Both massage therapists were very friendly and receptive. The ambiance was calming and we had a relaxing time. Afterwards the payment process was quick and easy - no problems with using our health insurance. Overall, excellent massage experience and customer service. The prices are comparable and the quality of service was great. The decor and design of the space created a high quality experience. We will definitely be returning!

Not sure what makes this an “eco spa” they advertise as using natural cleaning products, and personal care products but that’s false advertising and misleading to their customers. They use kirkland shampoo (i asked to see the bottle), and put it in different bottles to try and trick you. My massage room reeked of mr clean, it’s all that i could smell. It was awful. I’m extremely mindful of the products I use, so I thought this spa would be a good choice, and in line with my values of using non toxic products, but that’s just not the case. They also charge an extra $10 on the weekend for the “spa experience” which is just a bathrobe and a cup of tea. Pretty ridiculous. With all of that being said, my massage was pretty good. Nothing above and beyond, but adequate. If I wasn’t distracted from the horrendous smell of cleaning products, I would have enjoyed it more.

*Update June 24th: They called me back after I posted this review and they were very open to feedback and improving my experience. They have gone over the top to make things right for me and provide me with a better experience. Loved that they cared about their business, were not defensive in the least - and most importantly - Listened! June 23: It was okay. That atmosphere was great but the therapists (we had a friends couples deep tissue massage) were just okay. I kept asking for more pressure but it didn’t happen. Also wasn’t a fan of the ‘full body’ technique - have had much better as it wasn’t overly thorough or deep!

I have been to all of the eco spa locations and each one is phenomenal! They go above and beyond to take care of you, to help you destress, and create the perfect environment for you to forget about all your worries. The noise level from the staff and other guests is next to nothing. The massage here is heavenly!!!! Whether you’re super tight or coming in to just simply relax they truly cater to YOU. They create an experience that makes you want to keep coming back for more. All the massage therapist are amazing at what they do and ensure you leave with any of your issues completely gone.

I booked a hot stone massage after 8 months of not going and was with Nataliya! Nataliya was so amazing. She listened to what I needed to release (I had some tight shoulders and pain that shifted throughout my body) and even gave me a suggestion to massage a scar I had on my body to help it loosen up. I appreciated it so much and it was so relaxing and deep, I fell asleep at the end!! I was so refreshed and felt so loose and flexible the next day. Thank you so much for providing me with a wonderful massage, Nataliya and Leela! I will be back again ☺️ hopefully more often!!

We’ve come here often, and we really do love the vibes and the people there. We’ve loved our massages before, so much! However this time around wasn’t a 10/10 experience. We had a couples massage, and while both masseuses were lovely, we feel they didn’t quite listen to what we wanted. We both requested relaxation massages, where instead we honestly mostly felt in pain the whole time. Which some people like! We did ask for less pressure and then it turned to almost no pressure. Maybe it was just us, not sure. Again, they were both lovely, but it wasn’t exactly what we wanted.

Edit: The manager who reached out below was very professional. Most treatments I had here were good. Unfortunately last time the massage therapist did a neck pull with a towel without asking me first and it created a lot of pain and reduced range of motion, so I told them that and they gave some recommendations to reduce pain. Unfortunately a few weeks later no change, I contacted the spa for further recommendations and I ultimately required chiro to fix it. The manager did offer me a free treatment after apologizing but I am not comfortable returning after what happened.

Had couple message 2 months back. Massage Therapist were good. However the receptionist messed up big time with the insurance claim. It’s been 2 months and my insurance company is telling me that Leela Eco Spa submitted both claims for couple under same name. Even after submitting forms online they have names and emails spelled incorrectly. We landed up spending a lot of time and effort calling Leela and my insurance company to figure out issue. Still waiting for Leela to fix the problem. Bad experience overall.

All the rooms are nice and clean. Staff is professional, polite and make you feel comfortable. I got Osteopath treatment and massage. My RMT specialist Annie Doan was working so precise on problematic areas. She is adorable girl with big heart and strong arms. Right after the treatment I felt little improvement. It was great experience, I will definitely go again and will recommend Leela Eco Spa to my friends. Thank you Annie for your attention, good job and friendly conversation.

Fantastic space, friendly staff, and skilled massage therapists. I had Nataliya and my fiance had Joy for our massages. We both loved it and left feeling very relaxed. The space is nice, rooms are cozy and spacious (love the heated beds)! Spacious change room with amenities. There's a nice sitting area at the back with some snacks and teas. That worked out great for us, as my fiance's appointment started 30 mins earlier, so he had a nice space to wait fore until I was done.

I've been going to Leela for years now and every time I've had great experiences. Their staff are always friendly, warm and are passionate about what they do. I've always felt relaxed when I'm there and that I'm in good hands. I've had great experiences with Marina, Myphuong and Kayla which tells me they are bringing in the right kind of people. Also the couples massage was a great experience that my girlfriend and I sincerely enjoyed. Thanks for all the great work!

Leela is one of the best places to get a massage in Calgary. The rooms are relaxing and the beds and sheets are top tier. You can tell their RMTs are a step above. Eleanore is my RMT and I’ve never experienced a better massage. She somehow just knows what pressure to use, where to focus, and what you need. She truly is the best. Anytime I go elsewhere I regret it. I also love Natalia, Emmy and Joy. I prefer deep tissue and find these four RMTs are spectacular.

Leela is my go-to place for massage. It took me a couple of tries but finally found Emmie! She is amazing and really good. Always makes you feel relax and comfortable. Only feedback I would give is, every Monday and Wednesday, they have free Mimosa and Wine. But it is never offered. You'll have to ask for it. Cuz if not, they will never say anything. I feel like this should always be part of the service as this is a complimentary for any 60 minutes or more.

Due to heavy life circumstances I had to cancel two appointments. I understand that this can effect the livelihoods of the therapist, so I made a point to call. Today when I attempted again to book an appointment, I was turned away immediately after the demand of a prepayment. I felt very embarrassed. I have been using Leelas services for years, and feel disheartened that I will never return. I had once recommend this company to everyone and anyone.

I am obsessed with this place! I have been there twice now for massage and I see Brit. She is THE BEST masseuse I have ever had. (I’ve had a lot..) She is professional and so nice. She is very good at what she does. It’s like she knows exactly where the tension is without me even telling her. It’s a bit higher priced than other massage places I’ve been but when you get such an amazing massage every time..Brit is worth every penny! Highly recommend!

We often go to Leela, and a year end couples massage was just what we needed. Great therapists and admin, always a relaxing positive experience. Could use a bigger entrance area this time of year, and I always see the drinks menu but am never sure who to ask for a mimosa. But the massages were great, the staff are friendly and helpful and the space itself is very calming and relaxing overall. Just order your drinks in advance ;).

I've been here a number of times. I have to say that my experience yesterday wasn't the best. Part of the appeal of Leela is its little extras, like the lovely lounge room. When I arrived for my treatment, I was not offered flip flops (I asked, none were clean) or a locker key. In the lounge, there was not even hot water available for tea. The massage itself was good, but i was a bit disappointed otherwise for a 'spa' experience.

It’s not bad. I just expected it to be a bit better. Went there for my birthday, saw at the reception that they have available discounts for bdays and wasn’t offered one. However, we spoke about my bday. Fine, I didn’t expect it. Then I was offered a glass of wine ( they had “wine Wednesday” and nobody brought me anything. Okay…why did they offer it though? Will come there to give it another try. It’s okay overall.

Leelo Eco Spa Beltline exceeded my expectations from the moment I walked in! They made me feel welcome and relaxed. Sawako is so skilled and intently asked about and listened to my needs and met every single one. If you are looking for a massage, or a place to relax, this is definitely the place to do it, they really give the VIP treatment! I am definitely making this a regular part of my self-care routine.

My experience in this location has been stellar. I have been visiting this location for almost 3 years now and there hasn’t been a single instance I have been disappointed by the front desk service and the therapist. You do pay a premium visiting Leela as the prices are higher than the ongoing average in the city for the same service but it’s absolutely worth it. Keep up the good service!

My experience at Leela eco spa is always amazing. I am treated like Royalty with Sawako and is the best Massage Therapist I have ever had. Her treatments always leave me feeling 100 times better when I leave Leela eco Spa. It was my first time at Leela Eco Spa and my experience was lovely at the Beltline location. I got a deep tissue massage from Sawako - it was just what I needed! I would really recommend her to those who like getting deep tissue massages. She was attentive to my needs all throughout. Very positive first-time massage experience. My partner and I went in for a couple's therapeutic massage and were not disappointed in the slightest. Our therapists paid extra attention to the parts our bodies that were the most fatigued by our respective jobs. The service we received, from the front desk to the waiting area to the massage tables, was excellent. Will be returning.

My partner and I go for a couples massage about once every couple months. Highly recommend Sawa and Nataliya - they both work wonders for us and we feel a world of difference after our sessions. My wife and I had a couples massage for our anniversary. The experience was great from the moment we entered to the moment we were leaving. The receptionist was quite polite and welcoming. Went for the banana rumtini signature pedicure and loved it. The staff are really nice and professional. The service was much higher end than I expected, which was a very pleasant surprise. I would go again to relax and try another signature pedicure. This location seems like it'd be fun for a bachelorette party. While it was fun it was a bit pricey for what you get.

We enjoyed a couples massage with Sawa and Nataliya. Both RMT’s were kind, professional and have very relaxing massages for stress relief. I’d suggest arriving 20 min before apt to enjoy amenities. Environment was classy and romantic. It is more modern than some other spas I’ve visited in the city. Highly suggested. Complementary mimosas are provided on Mondays.

not a good experience at all, i met linda and she didnt do all 45 minute and did just 30 minutes and asked me to leave. even after telling her so many times about where i have pain but she never really focused on that. it was like she was just doing what she wants not something to help me out. would never come again . really disappointed

This is a great spot to come for a massage (and I imagine other services as well). The RMTs I have seen are skilled and knowledgeable, and the whole vibe of the place is so relaxing. I also like that they are open late so I don't feel rushed to get there after work, and can go home and roll right into bed after because I am so relaxed.

Went for a couple’s massage as my girlfriend had never had one before. The staff were very friendly and welcoming on arrival, and quick to get us seated and comfortable while we waited for our therapists. Both our therapists were professional and thorough in providing a relaxing and stress relieving massage. Will return in the future.

I just had the best massage ever in so many ways! Eri was attentive, informative, professional and took extra care. I have been struggling for the last few weeks with neck pain and terrible headaches. I left feeling heard and refreshed. She was so in-tune with my body. Will come and see her again and again. I would say try elsewhere if you’re looking for a prenatal massage! The room was very hot and the bed was small width wise for side lying. Felt like I had to hold myself up a lot to not fall off which wasn’t very relaxing. Was also hoping for more pressure to help with aches and pains.

Decided to get away from the fancy high priced massage spas, and came to the bridgeland Leelas. I was pleasantly surprised how great the place looked. The rooms were also large and clean. My massage was done by Linda, and it was amazing. I would highly recommend her. I will be back!

Had the most relaxing massage ever at Leela. They have a beautiful locker room and lounge space that makes you feel transported from downtown busy life. My masseuse worked out so many knots in my back and had great communication about pressure and pain. I will definitely return.

My wife and I really enjoyed our couples massage. I was blessed with Linda as my therapist and she did a great job. I like a firmer/deep massage and Linda killed it. I have never felt the effect of a massage the next day until then. I'm already planning my next appointment.
