No star if I could. I wish I read the reviews before my purchase. I bought 6 leather dining chairs, and paid for premium service for delivery including unboxing. One of them was already broken at delivery - see photos ! It’s beyond me how a broken chair could be delivered to customers. Replacement was arranged and I was assured that it would be premium delivery service as well. But the delivery guy said his order was only standard service and that he does not work for life interior, though I showed him my confirmation email of full service delivery. I rang life interior and no one was available to pick up the phone. After arguing for 10 min, the guy finally unboxed it for me. Buy at other furniture stores if you can ! *************************************** Following my emailed complaint and this review being posted, I was contacted by both Life interior and the delivery company to apologise for the mistake (which they say was all due to the delivery driver) and confusion. Life interior has refunded half of my delivery fee as a gesture of apology. I appreciate what they have done to try to make it right. So I edited the rating to 2 stars. I would suggest that firstly Life interior should have better quality control of their products - if the damage was caused by the transit, the chair was simply not made for any normal adult to sit on. Secondly, the services of both life interior and the delivery company should be contactable during the delivery times, for direct resolution of such disputes. Not a voice message to say no one is available to answer your call at this time….etc please.

Furniture is nice looking but won’t order from Life Interiors again. Originally ordered our dining table in January with a lead time expecting it into their warehouse on 1/3/22. We were happy to wait as this was the style we wanted. February we received an email saying the table had been delayed until April. In March we received an email saying the table was “Delayed- Currently in production”. In April we received the same news that it was once again “Delayed and Currently in Production” with an ETA of June. To be fair this is where I had had enough and contacted Life Interiors about what could be done. They agreed to refund me 10% of the price if I kept the order with them but stated there were no similar tables in stock that I could switch it out for. I agreed and so I continue to wait. Meanwhile they had a Sydney Warehouse sale and on Instagram I saw the SAME type of table I’ve been waiting 6 months for in stock and *gasps* for sale! Very frustrating that they could not arrange a shipment from Sydney to Melbourne for a table that is fully paid for and have now been waiting for 6 months. Cherry on top…. Tomorrow table was booked for delivery and I just received a voicemail saying the delivery has been cancelled due to delays and next available is July. ‍♀️ Save your money and don’t buy through Life Interiors, spend a little bit more for some customer service.

I have no idea why some reviews are so bad? If I could leave 6 stars for Life Interior, I would in a heartbeat. The products are well designed, stylish yet reasonably priced. Yes timing can be long especially if an item is not in stock but emails are always updating me. And honestly it was only 5 weeks total waiting time which is not bad at all considering I wanted 4 months for my dishwasher. Customer service has been sensational every time I had an issue (and there were 2 such instances). 1) I ordered 5 stools and 3 came on one day (2 on another but this is Aus Post issue). So I thought I was being short shipped and called Life Interiors immediately. They took ownership despite not their fault and contact Australia Post, then reverted to me with Australia Post’s update. 2) One stool unfortunately had the smallest issue where the paint pulled my top and lifted, leaving 1mm of bare wood. After an email and a few photos of proof (fair!), I was sent a replacement chair. I will definitely buy again, and recommend others to give them a go and don’t be put off by the negative reviews.

This is the worst online experience I’ve ever had. Went to order a painting as a Christmas gift. I wish I’d read the reviews before ordering. The order was placed two weeks ago and it was ‘in stock’. I called them today, two weeks later to chase up on the order as I had not received any tracking details and got told that the item is out of stock and will take 5-6 weeks to arrive in shop, which excludes the delivery time despite the fact that I was able to purchase the item online 2 weeks ago. The lady on the phone tells me that it was out of stock when I ordered it. I mean why in hell was I able to purchase the item if it wasn’t in stock without any warning that it was going to take 6 weeks for it to be available again. I suggest having some integrity to tell your customers whether or not an item is in stock, BEFORE they pay good money for the products you have. Seems like they just want your guaranteed money without caring whether or not the product is available. Highly recommend you spend money elsewhere.

I will never order from Life Interiors again!! I wish I read the Google reviews before I placed an order. Ordered 2 Queen size beds in August 2022 with ETA mid-October which was fine. I had to follow up ETA just to be advised there will be an extra month delay. Followed up again and there was another 2 week delay. Finally received confirmation (early December) and had to wait another 2 weeks for delivery from Sydney to Melbourne. Booked in my delivery (5 days before Xmas) and not all cartons were delivered, one was missing. I have contacted Life Interiors numerous times and issue has not been resolved. Have now contacted the courier company, they think they have resolved the issue but am still waiting on confirmation for delivery. I business day to Xmas and still no bed!!!!! And still waiting on a refund for my Premium Plus delivery as this was not fulfilled. Miscommunication between Life Interiors and the courier.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE!! All of the negative reviews should not be ignored. Firstly, you will be directed to a call center in the Philippines that these people conveniently hide behind, as there are no staff in Australia who are apparently free to take your call. They will then refer you to a "customer service" representative who will email you in 4 to 10 business days. You will have to go to extreme lengths and jump through multiple hoops just to try to have simple issue resolved. Furthermore, they will attempt to charge you a shipping fee to return the goods to their OWN warehouse, if you dare to cancel an order. They do not deserve to be in business and it is only a matter of time before there will be closing down sale for this woeful excuse of a furniture store.

The customer service at this place leaves a LOT to be desired. I actually made the trek into the showroom to look at a bed that I have been interested in purchasing. I spoke to the consultant and she took my details and said she would email me answers to a couple of questions I had about the origin of the timber and assembly of the bed as there is very little info on the website and I wanted to be sure of these things before I purchased. NO email... I followed up with an email through the website - again NO email... But now I am getting SPAMMED with constant email trash now that they have my email address. I'm not even a disgruntled customer. I'm just a potential customer interested in buying something. Get it together Life Interiors!

Hi Faiz, Thank you for your time on the phone today. As discussed, I can confirm that we experienced a delay with your stools and they are now expected to arrive into our warehouse on the 22/01/23. We sincerely apologise for this delay. When your order arrives into our warehouse, it takes an additional 1-2 business days to pick and pack the order and arrange the courier. Once your order is with the courier, we will send you a confirmation email to say your order is on it's way, along with tracking information. From there your order is expected to be delivered within 7-10 business days. Is this reasonable and I have been waiting for it for a long time

Awful Service Wanted the Hendrix Bar stool Didn’t want to the wrong height to bench- so had to pay the purchase price and return within 24hrs (that process annoying but I understand) The stool I tried was black/walnut Paid on the spot for 3 stool. 1. Wrong order Sales person processed the order as oak/black 2. Delivery Over a week (I live in Melbourne) And only received 2 or the 3 stools Over outsourced process’ leading to awful customer experience. Speaking to non local people who have to “chase” their team Bad experience

I bought the Koto American Oak chest of drawers & the Cookie beside table in travertine from Fleur Studios. I wasn’t ready to get it delivered as we were doing renovations but wanted to take advantage of the sale they had on. Sarah was so helpful - she stored the Koto chest of drawers for 4 weeks then sent it and luckily the Cookie could be sent out from Fleur at a later date. It is arriving soon. Everything ran smoothly - responses prompt and delivery as promised. I’d give them 5 stars for service and quality. Thank you

Why bother?! We phoned in earlier to ensure someone would be at the Melbourne showroom so that we can see some of Sarah Ellison's new pieces, however, the 1x salesperson they have allocated for the whole space is apparently on a 45min lunch break right on peak trade!! We waited 30mins (3 others left while we were there), I phoned twice to ask if someone can call them and advised that customers were present (and waiting)!! 0 stars if I could. I'm equal parts stunned and appalled at their etiquette

My sister went into the store to look at some stools on my behalf and received fantastic assistance from one of the team, I think Bree though apologies if I have the name wrong. I was called from the store and photos taken to see what I thought. Also the advice given was really helpful and was not encouraged to purchase some chairs I had seen online as they wouldn't work well in my space. I purchased the stools and they arrived within 3 days. Very happy.

I very strongly suggest taking your business anywhere but here. Unless you want to experience just how rude someone can be. The gentleman (I am assuming the manager), reluctantly served us and then continuously talked over us whilst we are trying to explain what we are looking for. He then made a scene in front of everyone in the store over some perceived wrong that he had cooked up. Anyway went to another business and the service was excellent.

Rio chest of drawers and 2 x bedside tables. From the moment we walked into the store to when our items were delivered, we cannot fault Life Interiors. Salesperson was extremely helpful in giving us ideas and was honest regarding delivery times. Has anyone else experienced the dreadful and rude attitude of the staff at Life Interiors. I want a simple answer as to where my order is and when I will receive it. I requested a call back from them and a lady called Vicki refused to call me. Extremely disappointed with Life Interiors so far and I haven’t even received my order yet. They are happy to take your money but not happy to provide clear and precise customer service.

We really like the Life Interiors range, their salespeople were very good. We were in the process of relocating from Sydney and Life Interiors' shipping arrangements were especially helpful. Then we had a warranty issue with a chair but no problem! Life Interiors handled the issue entirely by email and sent us a replacement really very quickly. Best furniture after-sales service ever.

Had a great experience with the team at Life Interiors. I was a bit nervous to order an expensive item in fear that it would be delivered damaged or when I wouldn’t be at home. Instead, I received two calls advising me of the delivery time, plus another call an hour prior to delivery. My delivery was packed very well, and there was absolutely no damage to the product itself!

We purchased 4 bench stools in August with expected delivery in early October. Just 3 stools arrived a week ago with no explanation. We can only get automated email and phone call responses. After waiting a week and not receiving a response, the defence that 'we are busy' is not acceptable in the circumstances. This experience is disappointing, as the stools are excellent.

Purchased the Oia Coffee Table on 6th September, promised delivery in October. After 3 delays, the new expected dispatch date is now 22 Jan - might not even get it then. Don’t believe the restock times on the website. I cannot believe they are still selling the coffee table when they cannot even honour an order placed 3 months ago, it’s just a joke.

If it’s not in stock, don’t bother. Every month you will get an email with another random expected delivery date in about a months time.. until that date expires & you get another token email with another date. I echo what everyone else is saying here. If it’s not in stock, go to another business.

Jenny cleared my doubt when I contacted the customer service team regarding my item. Very happy with my new purchase overall. The delivery companies that they contracted were pretty good too, delivered to my apartment on 5th floor and to the room where I wanted. No nonsense and on time too.

Would not recommend this company. I paid over $1,600 for a set of bedroom drawers that I waited 1 month for - despite on order the confirmation saying in stock and dispatched in 1 to 2 days. They then arrived damaged and I am still awaiting a replacement. Terrible terrible service.

Don’t trust dispatch times - estimate was 12 to 16 weeks. Latest update is 20 weeks ***** Chairs were subsequently delivered on time and the chairs are great. Seems to be differences between status updates on email and direct communications with the company.
