I visited this pizza shop recently despite seeing multiple reviews complaining about the lack of cheese on the pizzas. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, hoping they had improved. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a disappointment. Firstly, the pizza I ordered had absolutely no cheese. Without a cheese base, the toppings constantly fell off, making it nearly impossible to enjoy. To make matters worse, there was no sauce base either, leaving the pizza dry and tasteless. It felt like I was eating a bland assortment of toppings rather than a proper pizza. In addition to the cheese and sauce mishap, I also ordered a garlic pizza. Much to my dismay, it was undercooked and lacked the desired crispiness. The dough was doughy and didn't have that satisfying crunch I usually expect from a garlic pizza. To complete the cascade of disappointment, I decided to try the spaghetti bolognese. Unfortunately, it turned out to be extremely watery. The sauce had no thickness or richness, and it lacked the flavor I was anticipating. It felt more like a thin, diluted soup than a hearty pasta dish. Adding insult to injury, I specifically requested no olives in my order, but they still managed to include them. It was frustrating to receive a dish that didn't meet my specifications, especially after all the other disappointments. Overall, my experience at this pizza shop was incredibly underwhelming. The lack of cheese and sauce on the pizza, the undercooked garlic pizza, the watery spaghetti bolognese, and the disregard for my preference regarding olives left me feeling unsatisfied and frustrated. I would strongly advise against dining here if you expect a quality pizza experience.

Liparis used to be known for some of the best tasting and most generous servings for their food, pizzas were priced more than most shops but you wouldn’t mind paying the extra for good quality food. I knew the previous owners really well and they treated every customer like family. Never skimped on toppings , flavours etc, if there was a long wait time for food due to a busy night they would often give out free deserts for the inconvenience. Just out and out genuine people. Nowdays I can’t bare the taste and lack of ingredients in their food. last order was disappointing and thought I’d give it another crack. Well unfortunately the Caesar salad I ordered was absolutely disgusting. Overloaded on lettuce , eggs honestly tasted off , sauce was dreadful and put me off finishing the salad. Liparis years ago won countless awards for best pizzas. That won’t happen anytime soon with the food they are now serving up with the new owners. I barely write reviews so when I do it’s for a justified reason. Never again will eat out at this dreadful overpriced take away restaurant again.

Love this place, we come fairly often when we are in the area. Pizzas are great, flavourful with fresh ingredients. What I normally go for though, are the chicken parmas. These things are absolute MONSTERS that barely fit in a pizza box... Thick, juicy chicken breast smothered in Bolognese sauce and cheese. They also come with piles of chips (more than in the photo, I ate half in the car on the way home) and a huge serve of salad. They are awesome.

All 4 pizza's were tasteless. Toppings missing that were ordered as extra's. No cheese or barbbie sauce on base. Rang to speak to manager & not interested in speaking to me. 1st time customer & now lost me. Do your self a favour & go have a pizza from Alchester pizza's.

This used to be a wonderful pizza place for so long. Not anymore! I only ordered here tonight as the new place I get pizza from was closed and I now regret it. The pizza was dry and salty, with no real ability to taste whatever was in top. Last time I order from them; quality has gone downhill big time.

The vego pizza was delicious with added fresh tomato making it tastier. I would have liked a sprinkling of oregano but the price of add-ons was over the top at $3.20 each. Some things should be free or just cents because so little is used and this would help to ensure repeat business. More

Went to lipari with my daughter and grandson and partner sat down for a meal first time we went there I ordered the ribs they were tuff and very dry sent them back when we left we got charged full price for them never going back and the manager didn’t care at all . Good luck . More

We love Lipari, it's worth the drive for us. We often get take away but recently celebrated a birthday here. Will be back.

Some of our order seems to go missing or it's replaced with something we didn't order. I don't order items worth $18 only to have it replaced with an item worth $6. If it's not in stock then you should take it off the menu. This has happened more than once.

This is honestly one of the worst takeaway pizza places I’ve had in Melbourne. I spent $44.36 on two pizzas 1 large supreme and 1 large Margherita and couldn’t get through the first slice. Please stay away - this place makes you feel ill. More

Chips were so bad that they tried to cover it with seasoning. They tasted like they had been reheated from a day ago and just not edible. This is sad as they had one of the best hot chips around the area
