I was really unhappy with the service. I brought my bike on Saturday because my mudguard was wobbly and made a noise when I was cycling, so this was the only thing I wanted fixed. I was told they had to do the whole service so I said okay. I went to pick it up in my lunch break on Monday and paid for the full service and after literally 3 meters (under the bridge) the mudguard broke again. I went back, had to queue again and a young guy put it back and told me to try it again and to come back if it broke again (which I couldn't because I had to get to work). It broke again on the way to work so I brought it back on Tuesday and I was trying to explain what I needed done but the guy was in a rush and didn't really listen to me. I went back on Wednesday to collect it and because I saw that they had added some pieces to it and had done something to it (see picture, there were no marks on the metal before and it was straight) I assumed they had fixed it, but the mudguard was still wobby and making a noise (which they would have noticed if they had taken it for a short spin). I brought it home anyway because I don't have time to go there every day and queue in my lunch break for it not to be fixed anyway. I went there four times (took 3 taxis because I had to go back to work), paid 40€ for a full service I didn't want, and the mudguard - which is why I brought the bike - is still not fixed. I even told them to remove the whole thing and replace it with a plastic one if they weren't able to fix it, but because I talked to three different people, nobody really listened to me or remembered what I actually needed done. I'm going to bring it to another shop now.

I spent 260 euro for repair that lasted 12 days. I picked my ebike from repair on 10th November. I had spokes installed in front wheel, rear wheel rebuild and ensure brake discs are screwed properly. It's now 22nd November and my rear brake disc just became completely loose. There are other issue with recent repair: they failed to fasten cable harness back and failed to mention that they chose wider rim for rear wheel than original, effectively locking me into replacing tires as well as they started rubbing the rear fork. Very unsatisfied with shoddy workmanship in the shop. EDIT: You can check my purchase history with your shop and the cameras. On 22 Aug, after you replaced my brake pads, I came back to the shop right away to tell you that they do not feel right and the young lad completely brushed me off. I believe that initial improper repair of the breaks what's caused the issues, not the quality of the parts. Similarly, you chosen the tires that started rubbing the rear fork and destroyed my rear rim. I didn't ask for specific tire model. I did ask for wider tires. I didn't think I'll need to add "wider tires that wont destroy my bike". Why would I trust you guys to do anything in my bike, if your repairs are damaging my ebike? EDIT2: I checked original receipt from when you installed wider tires and I specifically asked to "Check if bigger tyre would work". I trusted you to install replacement that wouldn't pose risk to my bike.

I do NOT recomend this shop even to my worst enemy. I’m customer to different bike shops for years and found that Little sports shop is the WORST place to do repairs. I have purchased of them second hand bike what they sold me with gear switching fault. Asked them to fix it 3 times. After 2nd time got nearly in car accident because gear switch on the back broke in the middle of the road while I was cycling. Apparently mechanics doesn’t know how to align it correctly with the other bike mechanisms. Charged me over the roof for all part replacents and fixing. 3rd time problem came back and chain completely fell off and gear switcher is broken again. This is only one problem I had with this little sports shop. Other problems I encountered was that while I asked to repair my other bike mechanics desired to take off and change better parts for worst. I had to press them on to put everything back as it was. Also when I had problem with breaks and needed to be fixed only this issue mechanics started to do adjustments on them own and I ended up having problems with brand new chain what broke in the middle of the cycle. Never to mention that I was asked to pay for the adjustments I have never asked them to do. I have encountered so much problems after little sports shop fixing my bikes that I will never come back to this place again and I Do NOT recommend to anyone else. They lie and cheat them customers.

Bought a bike for €2500 and the initial build was horrendous. Saddle pointing up, drops pointing down, wrong paste on seat post, gears not indexed as they should be, headset loose and the steerer tube not cut clean and that's just off the top of my head. Brought it back to have the gears indexed correctly and didn't find any improvement after the service so I gave in and brought the bike to another shop to be safe. I've since had to send the bike back for a replacement fork. Picked up the bike and went for a cycle, about 15km into the cycle the steering felt really strange and I couldn't cycle in a straight line. I ended up getting a taxi home. I got in touch with the shop and they quickly denied any wrongdoing- I suppose as anyone would. I then brought the bike to another shop and straight away the mechanic found that the crown was missing from the fork. This caused the headset to be loose and also let the carbon fork rub against the carbon frame. The mechanic also pointed out and fixed the brake blocks that were not parallel to the rim. I've let the owners of Little Sport Bike Shop know that the bike was reassembled with this part missing but they have yet to acknowledge their mistakes or even my email.

I could not speak highly enough about all the Men and Women at Little Sport. I will buy anything I ever need that these guys stock due to the level of service and kindness they show. They offer such a genuine decency at a time when many larger retailers only see customers as transactional elements. Recently we bought a bike for my son from Little Sport. Their service was incredible and friendly. 6 weeks after the purchase my son was attacked and his bike badly damaged. I returned to Little Sport and explained the situation of what happened. They showed genuine empathy and proceeded to fix the bike. Amazingly when I went to get the bike after the repairs had been completed they said it was free of charge due to the nature of what had happened to my son. I can not find enough nice things tosay about these guys, their kindness, level of service and empathy shown to their customers. It was genuinely touching what they did for my son. We should all support our local small retailers and stop our high streets and villages becoming overrun with faceless multi nationals who have no vested in our communities. Well done Little Sport. Each one of you is a credit to yourself and the business.

I went to this place to repair my bike a few weeks ago. I asked for A change of tire for a new and stronger one; and to repair my brakes. They call me the same day to give me the price: new tire and fix my brakes: 55E. Also I asked for a check of the other wheel, just in case. They said ok and they will call me back when my bike will be ready- They never called me back, so I call them to ask about it at least two times. I collected my bike a week later and the same day I went to city center and 2 hours later the new tire was flat again and they didn't check the brakes because it was even worse. So, I walked to my home with my bike and I went to the bike shop the following day. They fixed it in the moment. After that, the other tire was flat (yes, I asked for a check). They "found" a shard of glass in the tire, so I had to pay again because it was supposed to be fixed. After 2 days the "tired was changed" it went flat again. As a I grew tired of paying for nothing I went back to my previous bike shop to repair it and they told me "the tire is a "new" fixed tire" and I paid AGAIN for my repair for both tires.

I always use this gem of a family owned local bike shop for nearly 6 years now. The staff are always very welcoming when ever i drop in.I always leave feeling like I'm on a new bike, even though its nearly 8 years old, I bring my 2012 Giant Anthem in whenever it needs work or if i want something upgraded. There is always fantastic communication from start to finish of whatever is needed done and the work is always completed in a quick turn around, from the guys who diligently work on the bike and are in my opinion, very good mechs and I'm always very happy with their work, to the lads and lady who take payment or organise parts, Their pricing is very reasonable for the level of work they do.. I was recently stuck for a bike while mine was in getting repaired and they out of the blue, very kindly offered me a spare bike to use to get to work, as I didn't want to use the bus during C-19, This was really appreciated and not expected. This is why i always use this shop, because I feel they actually care about their customer. Now, that's something money can not buy. Cheers Little Sport.

We purchased what it was my wife's bicycle on this store. After about one year of owning the bicycle it was stolen from the bike rack in our appartment building. A couple of weeks after it was stolen, we found it for sale in the very same store were we bought it, it still had the original store label from our purchase and it missed the rear rack as we replaced it with a child sit which the thieves detached from the bicycle and left it in our garden when they stole it as well as many other marks that made it clear it was ours. After pointing to the store personnel that the bicycle they had for sale was ours (showing them pictures and the original sales receipt) they was rude and shady. My bad for not making the report on time to the police! So please, be aware. If you buy from these people you might find yourself in a stolen bicycle.

I took my bike 2 weeks ago for full repair and service, they changed several things but even so the bicycle was not quite right. I took it a second time to tell them that it felt strange, that the brake was constantly bumping into the wheel and I had to put more effort into pedaling, but they told me there was no problem. Today I had to take it to another service and I had to pay for another repair and adjustments because the previous one did not work, in addition, they put a chain longer than what my bike needed, so in the last days I could hardly use it It's like I hadn't even tried the bike to see if everything was okay. I am very disappointed since the previous times I never had problems and now that I invested more money in my bike (almost € 150) it did not turn out well.

I can genuinely recommend Little Sport Bikes and give them a huge 5 star rating. I needed to ship 2 expensive bikes to Portugal. Norma and her colleagues were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Communication was brilliant, and they were so helpful and answered any questions promptly. They packed the bikes for shipment to the utmost professional standards, and the bikes arrived in perfect condition. I had gotten the bikes serviced by Little Sport Bikes also and as part of their amazing service they allowed me to store my bikes whilst I organized shipment. This extra service took so much pressure off. I felt so confident knowing my bikes were being professionally handled. Thank you so much Norma and all who helped, you really are a fantastic Team.

Just bought a Cube Road bike, following the advice of the very experienced mechanic. The staff are so helpful, and never pressure you to purchase. Together, we explored all the options, and after having had a trial run,up the road, made some adjustments to the handlebars. The bike is perfect for me now. I have be dealing with Little Sport for more than thirty years and can say without hesitation that I’ve never found a cycle shop comparable for: curtesy, friendliness, knowledge, honesty and reliability. YOU CAN’T GO WRONG WITH LITTLE SPORT. Happy cycling ‍♀️ Kind regards Roddy.

I am from near Chicago USA and just completed a 17 day bike, train, and ferry trip in UK and Ireland starting in Dublin and using my folding Bike Friday bicycle. It was a problem for me to know what to do with the hard shell bike case and I contacted Little Sport Bikes about storing it for me since they are located enroute from the airport to the ferry. They were very helpful and would not accept payment to store--it would have cost around 100 euro at the airport. It's seems a very wholesome place and added a little local color to my trip.

  • Cillian Smyth

I moved to the area a few years ago from the other side of the city and I needed to find a new bicycle repair shop. Decided to give Little Sport Bikes a punt after reading a few google reviews. I can confirm that the good reviews are accurate. Friendly staff, transparent repair costs, the repair technician revived a buckled back wheel when I thought it needed replacing, and quick turnaround on the repair. My bike is back flying it again. I'll very satisfied with the service. Thanks Norma and team, I'll definitely be a returning customer.

  • Eoin Duffy

Great experience here. I highly recommend this bike shop. I needed a couple of things fixed/replaced for my bike. I had been quoted from another place a week previously so while I was passing I checked Little Sport Bikes. They were at least €20 cheaper and they said they could have it done in 30mins. When I collected it they had cleaned my bike free of charge and the bike feels much better than when I've had it fixed before. I'll definitely be back. Really nice and helpful staff too. Cheers lads

  • Enrica Lazzarin

I'm writing this review a bit late, but better late than never. Two months ago, I had a bike accident near the Little Bike Shop, and my brakes disconnected. The staff at the shop immediately came to my rescue, putting my brakes back on track. In a time where kindness and professionalism are often hard to come by, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all the staff at the Little Bike Shop. Your quick and effective help made a significant difference, and I truly appreciate it. Thank you!

When a person buys a bike for the first time, and she doesn't know how to put the wheel on, and is then told it costs a 150 euro to do so, you know the experienced person has exaggerated the job more than it is. That is not customer care. If I had been present and my wife was aware of this, the job should have been a few minutes and a simple job. You just lost a customer and I will share this to the other members in my community in East Wall of how my partner was conned.

  • Aurore P

Little Sport is a great place to buy a bike or any cycling accessories you may need. The location is very handy as it is easy to get there, plus you can easily try the bikes outside the shop. They participate in the Cycle to Work scheme. So far I have bought 2 bikes from them, sold one, got accessories, bike serviced, biked repaired, it's always a good service and friendly staff with good advice. I am very pleased with little Sport, it's a little gem in Fairview.

  • Dew Express

  • Gerard Kelly

Don't do reviews but had to in this instance. Dropped in on the off chance I could get my front derailer adjusted as chain jumping off top cog and getting caught around the pedal. Gent serving asked the tech if he could squeeze it in, which he did. Also picked up a water bottle as one of the kids had lost mine. Gent said have a nice day and didn't charge me. Reinforced why I buy my bikes and avail of servicing there.

  • rana sayegh

..the friendliest and most welcoming bike shop I've ever been to..the guys in little sports will answer all your questions and queries, no matter how silly they are...they even understood when I ask for thingie-maginies, aka handle bars grips...they're very professional and always give my bike a great service for reasonable prices...and it's in a handy location.... Can't recommend these guys enough... Keep it up :)

  • Diego Barros

Just got my bike back, doing maintenance with Little Sport. Cannot be happier. I was very well received by Ken and all staff. They are very attentive, thorough, patient and, of course, nice! Customer service 100% My bike is excellent now! Have a race end of next month so will take it back just to make sure everything is good to go! They even gave a bottle cage and a couple bottles! Highly recommended!

  • Simone Nugent

Thanks so much Ken, Peter, Casper & all the team for building the new tricycle!!! Extremely helpful and friendly. I had purchased the tricycle from England but had a number of issues/faults with the trike. Little Sport solved ALL of the issues (very patiently) and in plenty of time for the tricycle to be given as a birthday gift today. A very happy girl on her new bike Thank you all SO much!!

  • Noah copping

After having a bad experience at a shop up the road popped in here and they fixed everything that the other shop messed up for half the price. Also took the time out to explain everything and speak with me about any concerns. Very professional and trustworthy. Also seems like they keep quite a few young lads in work and out of trouble! Will be returning for all bike related needs going forward.

  • Randall M.

Little Sport Bikes is the best shop in Ireland. I've purchased many bikes through the years. Most shops ignore you when your warranty runs out, and make it almost impossible to replace parts for repair and servicing. I bought a Bosch Ebike and it is working perfectly after 3 years now. For all your cycling needs. I highly recommend Little Sport Bikes for everyone of all ages.‍♂️

  • Daniel Rahmany

I couldnt believe how nice, kind and generous this people are !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was a tourrist in ireland about to go on a two week cycling trip and my bike had alot of problems because of the flight. this amazing staff fixed my bike for free and they were happy to do it. my trip was incredible, I cant thank them enough if your a tourist with a bike this is the shop you should go to.

  • Robert

Another fantastic experience with the team of Little Sport Bikes! The chain of my electric bike got badly jammed last night. This morning I called in at Ken's shop and himself and his team sorted it out brilliantly, in the blink of an eye. Courtesy, care and very professional approach. If you live in Dublin or nearby and are looking for a bike or anything related, look nowhere else!

  • Diego Jesus

I wanted to commend your team for the outstanding service I received. The prompt response to my inquiries and the thorough assistance provided truly made my experience exceptional. Thank you for your dedication to customer satisfaction! P.S. I also appreciate Junior one of the team members which explains in details, all I need to now to improve the hydraulic break of my e-bike.

  • Ayşegül Turgay

I bought Forme female bike from Little sport bikes 4 months back and my bikes front wheel’s been stolen a week ago. When I went there, they carried the bike to shop from the car for me and replaced missing parts for a nominal fee (some parts they have replaced even for free). To me, they are the best bike shop in Dublin and I strongly recommend their service to all cyclists.

  • Vincent Conroy

Dropped in this morning with a couple of small issues with my bike but the two Caspers( yep, both bike mechanics called after Peter Schmeichel's son?) sorted me out double quick. Fair play lads. Over 50 years a customer of Little Sport and you can't beat your local shop for that extra personal touch( even with Covid-19 restrictions). Slainte Vincent "Ginks" Conroy.

  • Medbh Burke

Little Sport is definitely one of the best bike shops around Dublin, with really friendly lads who are happy to help you out as much as they can. They've done some great work on my bike, thrown in extra bits and pieces they saw needed done for free, and charge a really fair price :) Compared to other places I've had nothing but positive experiences with them!

  • JO R

The service in this place is amazing! I bought my second hand bike here and they did everything they could to make me happy! The service was really nice, good and in favor of the customer! I can really recommend going there, for them the customer is very important and they have a lot of experience. I feel very appreciated, thank you very much & see you soon!

  • Karen Gaffney

Very unprofessional service as I left my bike to be serviced and got it back in a unusable condition! Very unhelpful when trying to resell my bike back and didn't want to know about it at all! I would not recommend anyone else to buy a bike or materials in the shop as they have lousy customer service and are only interested in money for rubbish bikes.

  • Dominick Smyth

Massive fan of everything Little Sport do and how they conduct themselves. Always interested in me as a person, not just a customer there to pay a bill, which makes me comfortable with any questions and requests I've had over the years. They've even talked me out of an expensive purchase when they recognised it wasn't right for me!

  • kevin hogan

Really great service and very accommodating. Same day bike service with some minor alterations taken care of - popped in one morning without notice and when they heard I use my bike daily said they’d make every effort to have it back that evening, which they did. Would recommend and will be using them going forward.

  • Matthew Linvill

Terrific bike shop with great service. Forgot my helmet when I was traveling abroad and they sold me a great replacement for an affordable price (~20€). They also noticed that I didn’t have a water bottle and gave me one for free. They even filled it up for me without me asking! Thank you for a great experience!

  • Ellie Bradshaw

These guys are the most helpful ever! They recommended the perfect bike for me and it is so lovely. Everything I need they help with. Would highly recommend people to go here for a bike. When it was hard to get a bike these guys ordered me in one while other places just said sold out. Lovely to deal with too :)

  • Kasia Guassab

This is a great shop to have in Fairview. The staff couldn't be nicer and more than once have helped me out without any expectation of selling something. When I've needed repairs, everything has gone as expected and I've never needed to return a repair to my bike.

  • Michel Tortato

Had a derailleur issue. The thing went bust over a frosty night. Went in over my lunch break. They sorted it in 15 minutes for a tenner. Impeccable.

the worst attention that one can receive ... the truth is that they do not attend you, if you do not want to buy something they ignore you.

Lazy people. The kind of bike shop that only suits them if you wanna buy something new. If you need a repair "sorry, we bla bla bla"
