I was at this fantastic bar minding my own business, when I could clearly feel the eyes watching me, penetrating me. It was a street punk who wanted my drink because it looked so yummy. I told him he couldn’t have it, but he took it off me anyways and started to make fun of my ridiculous goatee. As I stand there crying all of a sudden the guy is grabbed by someone, it was my idol Tammi here to save me! She said “never fear, Tammi is here!” and immediately turned the guy into a pretzel and threw him out! Being the gracious and kind soul that she is Tammi then brought me another drink free of charge, she then ruffled my hair and said “chin up young chap, you shall always be safe when I’m about”. I have returned to the Liverpool Arts Bar every night ever since, knowing my watchful protector Tammi will be there. I pray to Tammi every night before bed, thanking her for the life I’ve been given. “Tammi is love” I say, “Tammi… is life”

I came here with a friend last week, I used to be a student here and my friend who had never been to Liverpool before wanted showing around - I thought hey, why not go to the arts bar? It’s changed slightly since I last went in but the great music is still there. Great service from lovely staff too! Special shout-out to Tammi who served us, we bonded over our love for the Scissor Sisters, and she was so friendly! Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in the city.

The Arts Bar is definitely a new addition to the drinks scene in this area of town and it's a really good little vibrant bar. I do enjoy its atmosphere and as they have music on there every night its definitely one to visit again and again. My past ten weeks have been spent in there as I undertook an acting class and it was a welcome respite after the class. Mention must also go to the bar staff who were always friendly and helpful.

I came up to Liverpool from Somerset to visit a friend over Eurovision weekend and we ended up at Arts Bar to watch the Saturday show. We got there early and although we hadn't booked, we were offered a table when it became apparent that they weren't going to show up. The atmosphere was fantastic, the drinks were delicious and we felt incredibly looked after by the amazing staff. Thank you for a fantastic evening!

Been a few times now and it's a truly amazing place to meet friends, chill out or listen to some fabulous music. All the staff are so friendly and offer a great service! Zoe always has a smile to welcome you as though you're part of the family and can always give advice on new cocktails to try!!!!! get there early on a Wednesday evening when TCV do their weekly gig, definitely NOT to be missed!!!!!

My Favourite place to go to!! I rehearse, study and party there! Friendly atmosphere, with approachable staff. The best of both worlds! Great Bar but also some amazing studios to rent out upstairs! Not fully accessible, lift is sometimes out of action, so be prepared to climb a lot of stairs. There are different sized rooms available for different rehearsals etc. Would highly recommend as a rehearsal space, and great for a drink post rehearsal. Don't forget to check out local artists performing here too!

I recently found this place on hope Street opposite the everyman theatre. It's a beautiful bar filled with art culture and friendly staff. I was treated to a veggie pie and pint of lager beer. Surrounded by art work and live music I felt so at home in this fantastic bar. All are welcome for good cheer and exiting live events. Mines a coffee at the arts bar tonight XXX

Every single time I come I ask about the state of their toilets, they don’t accommodate for people with disabilities, toilet is constantly half flooded so expect to stand in a puddle of urine whenever you need the toilet. Actually disgusting and the service was shambolic. One of the grimmest bars in town.

What a bar! Perfect music, vibe, drinks selection and the staff are incredibly attentive and friendly. We came to a birthday party here on a Saturday night and the staff couldn’t do enough to help and make sure everything went to plan and, more importantly, everyone had a top night. Keep up the good work guys, not enough of this anymore!!!

Been going to MAD upstairs from this place for last 10 weeks so we have been calling in before and after class on tuesdays! Lovely place, lovely staff and listened to some great live music later in the evening. Course finished now but we have booked our Christmas 'DO' there in December. I for one will return when I am ever in the city!

This is undoubtedly our favourite bar - the atmosphere is always brilliant, the drinks are great and the service is the best you'll find in the city. A special mention for Alex who always does a top job in looking after us! Every time friends and family visit from London they're always asking to go back to the Arts Bar!

Simply one of the best bars in Liverpool.. Nice place to relax in the day but it gets even better of an evening. Had a great time the other night at Liverpool arts bar. Atmosphere was really good and the staff were really welcoming and friendly - Adam in particular was great with recommendations. Over the past few months, I’ve regularly hired out different rehearsal spaces within the Liverpool Arts Bar and even when they’ve been busy, they’ve always found me something. Always greeted by friendly and helpful staff who are always eager to offer support. Huge thanks to Alex for all his help.

This bar is the place to be in Liverpool. Always a good time to be had. To be specific, one of the staff, a girl by the name of Lottie I believe, is the signal greatest bar tender I have had the privilege of being served by. She pours a Guinness that transports the lucky sipper to st. James gate.

This is a fantastic little place. Cosy, arty (literally) and relaxed. The staff are all attentive and friendly (we were served by Ben, who is a charming lad) and we were made very welcome. The fresh cakes are an added bonus, baked locally by an aspiring star baker. Highly recommend this place!

One of my fave after work pint places. Super chill. Lovely staff. Lots of art and often live music to boot. It used to be the Masonic Lodges old Liverpool haunt and it's a lovely building. Get yourself a pint of Mahou

I visited the Arts Bar Hope Street this evening and wow….What an amazing team of staff in there. Never have I met such a polite, happy and enthusiastic bar staff such as Tammy. She went above and beyond in making our 49 and Coke. Couldn’t not recommend enough!

I don’t normally leave reviews but felt compelled after coming here! Me and my friends loved the atmosphere and the service provided by all the staff - Mia in particular was very friendly and made a delicious espresso 43! 10/10, will be going again.

Currently in the running for my favourite city centre bar. Gorgeous people. Live music. All kinds going on. And the space is pretty spectacular. If anywhere is inheriting the vibe of the old Everyman Bistro, it's this place.

Best bar in town, staff are always polite and helpful, nobody is ignored and service is quick and efficient. Management staff on site are always looking to help and improve customers experience. Would recommend to everyone.

Love this bar. There is a side room for chatting if music is on. Also very nice outside bit when the weather is good. You can get tea and coffee as well as cold drinks.
