I wish to give appraisal to Rav and Amy (husband and wife ) who own and run lodge pharmacy. I have been with this pharmacy since they opened on the ring then Omar the doctors on dovedale road. Rav ,Amy and their staff are the nicest caring people you could ever meet. They go out their way to help, support and listen to anyone that has any questions to ask about their health, life anything they will listen to you and give good advice. People including myself have asked questions about their health as unable to get seen by the doctor and you will always get good professional satisfying answers. They are really busy but will have time for anyone even if you don’t use their chemist they will take themselves away from what they are doing and talk to you check you look at anything you want to show them and advice you what to do next. They make you feel comfortable relaxed and happy. You can wait long for your presentation people need to bare in mind they have prescriptions coming through electronically and not just from the doctors next door other doctors surgery’s that patients have their chemist allocated then have the prescriptions to do from everyone coming out from the doctors all day and they work so hard non stop to dispatch all medications. You always get smiles asked how are you are apology’s for your wait. They are a wonderful family that run a fantastic business. My prescription went to a different chemist that’s not as busy I received my medication 10 days after I put it in my next one was due 4 days later also this chemist gave out my personal information to someone ringing up inquiring about my medication this is something I have never experienced from Rav and Amy they will phone me if I have sent someone in that they have not seen before who haven’t collected my prescription before especially when they give out a control drug. I cannot give enough appraisal for the help support and survive that I have received over the years from Rav and Amy and their staff. Thank you so much you go above and beyond for people x

I have been using this pharmacy for over 22 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. The Pharmacist who is also the Pharmacy Manager provides excellent advise even though this pharmacy is always busy being located in a Primary Care Centre, but he will always take the time to deal with any queries or concerns. I would rather ask him for advise with regards to my medication than the GP. I feel he has so much experience and knowledge he should have been a GP. This is family run pharmacy which is run by him and his wife and all the pharmacy team are very friendly and professional at all times throughout my experiences over two decades. We are all on first name terms and have a good banter too to cheer me up when I'm down. I absolutely love the amazing aura and atmosphere in this pharmacy and always look forward to coming in it certainly is the hub of our community. This pharmacy has an amazing reputation within our community and has in the past been awarded the Community Service Awards. I would wholeheartedly recommend this pharmacy and it's excellent delivery of healthcare services.

It is hard to work out whether the staff working here are being deliberately obstructive or they are just dense. I tried to pick up a prescription for my wife, I had to wait then a member of staff came out and asked when the Dr's had sent the prescription, so not knowing that I phoned my wife. I told the staff member, who then said he'd have to check the computer. He then went back behind the counter and immediately returned with my wife's medication fully packaged. I asked how if he didn't know when the prescription was ordered, how he had returned immediately with the medication fully packaged and labelled up? Of course I got the usual blank expression like he'd been lobotomized. It is all very well having posters up stating that abuse of staff will not be tolerated, and that is quite correct. However, people's time is also important and the staff perhaps should open their eyes a little bit more instead of asking redundant questions when the solution was actually staring you in the face. Save our chemists? Hopefully not this one.

Massive credit to Rav , My fiancée had chest pains while walking past the surgery , she went striaght into ' The lodge Pharmacy ' and Rav came over and gave her an assessment on his findings she had very high blood pressure and the rest of the results wasn't good , he advised us to take her striaght to A/E where the diagnosed her as having a mini heart attack , if i wasn't Ravs assessment she probably would have not been with us this time next year . I went and thanked him today , Rav is very good and takes his time out to help people he seek medical advice. Well done Rav From Craig Gobourne Sharon Haden

Been a customer of this pharmacy for 5 years and never had a problem. The staff are always helpful, knowledgeable and hard working. I cut my finger two weeks ago and bled a lot, I called an ambulance and waited 4 hours for an ambulance to not come, I was disappointed. Blood clots. Afraid of wound infection, I hurried to the pharmacy to help treat the wound. They are really welcoming. When they saw the blood on my hands, they immediately cleaned the wound and bandaged it. Sincere thanks to them. I'm also honored to have such an amazing pharmacy and their team near home.

The LODGE PHARMACY IS EXCELLENT . Ì WOULDN'T GO Anywhere else I have used them for nearly 30 years. They have so much time for you! I would sooner go to Rav about a problem than I go to the doctors. He will tell you exactly what you need. If I have to go to the doctors and he gives me something new, RAV will take you into a side room and tell and show you what to do, even if the shop is full he has so much patience. I can't praise him enough, so dedicated!. He should be given a NHS LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD FOR HIS DEDICATION! THEY ARE BOTH SO GOOD AND KIND! .

Failing 5 times to get online request saying wrong email address, being told to come in or have someone come into the surgery to order my repeat when if safety is the reason someone could hand in repeat same as someone online ordering. I haven't got no one to help pop in as I don't see nobody or freinds. I'm ill and even more so now knowing I have to wait all weekend to have the same problem Monday as I still have to wait couple days inside from being ill. Csn see I've failed online so why csnt someone help!

Great, especially Jackie one of the pharmacy staff..she's the most helpful person I've ever met. So friendly and keeps customers very happy. I never have a problem when she has dealt with my prescriptions, even liaising with the surgery on your behalf. Just wish that they stocked cosmetics like they used to as it was a "kill two birds with one stone" situation for me then. Otherwise great.

Yes this is a busy pharmacy and yes you might have to wait a bit BUT wouldn’t you rather be safe especially with medication to ensure your prescription is checked correctly I don’t have a bad word to say about ALL the staff. THEY ALL CARE about you And after reading some reviews maybe the mother shouting at their child was too aggressive especially in full view of the whole shop

I can't fault this pharmacy, they provide a service that we need. Always been very helpful with myself whenever I need advice Not entirely sure what everyone else is moaning at. So you wait a while for prescriptions that you or your family needs. God help us all if you need accident and emergency.

Literally the most inefficient place I have ever visited. Slow really doesn't cover it they really don't care about wasting people's time. Was the amount of time talking about who "gapped" who on the football pitch reduced it wouldn't be so bad but 20 mins waiting in an empty shop is a joke

This place is a joke, so because I told my daughter off yesterday they phoned the police but they've also said my DAUGHTER was a 9 year old boy! My daughter is 6 she big for her age in height.... Seriously the people who work here needs to fix up (not Jackie tho she amazing) …

was looking for Job , so I was invited to be interviewed . find it very helpful and supportive , not only working there but management is also helping those have ambitions to expand and learn as well educate themselves , was very impress of how looking into community needs . Viva

we had to switch the pharmacy to another pharmacy the reason was that my 90yrs old parents did not say morning to the delivery driver and the pharmacy did not wanted to deliver the priscriptions to us although they had a business from 3 patients at the same address

Family member couldn't get to see a Doctor so called in to see Rav who looked at the problem and supplied the correct medication which cleared up the infection in a matter of days.We couldn't be more happier with the friendly service.Many thanks to you all.

Nice bright pharmacy only issue I have is the time I have to wait for my prescription even when I'm the only one collecting I still have to wait longer than I should that's why it gets 3 stars

Dad has used this pharmacy for past 20 years to get their medication & always found staff to be helpful & very courteous. He will continue to use them & wouldn't go anywhere else
