"Newish" group of elected Supervisors hasn't meshed yet. Burned $1bn last year on Homeless with nothing to show for it. Homeless numbers are "doubling down" not decreasing. It's out-of-control. County is a mess! Talks of "transparency and accountability" are empty sound bites...(how many times can you use the same words with NO MEANING TO THEM...and not choke?) City is run so much better! Underneath...where County Service's to the Community have "broken down" badly...it's hurting not helping people. Too much money is going into the pockets of County Workers that don't do their job. Wasted, large salaries eat up our money and it never gets to the people at the bottom...where it's really needed. It's a mess and it's getting worse! Just HIRING more and more people without getting what you already have to FUNCTION is compounding the problem...not solving it! Homeless numbers are growing daily...with no end in sight! Our Supervisors are BLIND...to our needs. They don't seem to have a clue themselves how to get out of this mess...and they AREN'T LISTENING TO US! They aren't really using the "Commissioners System"... their "connection" to the people. They have NO REAL connection...they have forgotten who they work for...us! Government of...for...and by the people is not the way our County Government is being run. It's run on "bully power." It's a "power and fear" game. So often in County meetings and in hallways one hears about the "FEAR CULTURE" that runs the County. Speak-up...you get fired. It's way out of control...and getting worse as we just hire more workers, change nothing and compound the problems. Case Workers are so "mean and rude" no one wants to work with them. Their ineffective! They do more harm to children and families than good. They bring "distruction" to the family unit. It's become a "money game", not a protector of life. DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services is "sued" so much it's a huge drain...millions of dollars are paid out annually. Supervisors and Case Workers are on trial currently. It doesn't stop...two children lost their lives (in the news reports from County neglect last year...and too many others we won't hear about are STILL going on.) A Blue Ribbon Report was commissioned a few years ago...WHAT FOR??? If you continue doing the same thing and don't change...what do you expect? Why don't you use what we've paid for!!! I bet no new Supervisor has even read it! For sure it's not being used. Very few County Departments are even functioning at this time. If I'm wrong...name me one! The Corners Office is backed-up with dead bodies. What is going on in our Children and Family Court is "shameful"...(to say the least). Defies belief this could go on in America. Transparency is a joke! They hide under the cloke of secrecy, claiming it "protects". Pure bunk! We must be more engaged in our governing process for it to work. It can only be a "free democracy," government of, for and by the people if we the people participate. That means more than a vote every few years. WE HAVE TO HOLD OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS MORE ACCOUNTABLE! How? That is the question at hand...for now, we are "locked out." God help us...we need it!

Unanimous vote to raid all the mmc dispensaries in unicorpoated areas....Again?!! Please please please resign or better yet find a bridge. You sorry excuses for human life sent out your goon squads to places you don't go to, and arrest, harrass, steal from intimidate good hardworking honest people that have less than you. These people are 100 times better than you parasitic scumsuckers. How do you sleep at night. Legal or illigal, it's clearly wrong what you are doing, even a small child could see that.

Here we go again, the Federal goverment has finished all COVID assistance, but the LA Board of Supervisors are extending in LA County the rent protection until 12/31/2022. Tenants WILL NOT pay rent, about a relief for the Landlord, we have to keep paying the mortgage, property taxes, insurance etc. This is outrageous, we're worst than a comunist country.

Get on board with the rest of the state and drop the mask mandate. If you don't want a "summer of love" at the county seat, you should consider our freedom to live without mandates. I myself am too old to participate in such demonstrations, but there is a growing swell of disgruntled citizens. Just a heads up. Just remember, you can be recalled.
