Full of shady people and quite frankly a bit scary. I was on edge the whole time we waited there for our bus. Area outside dodgy too. We were going to walk out to Macdonalds for lunch while waiting on our bus but decided not to after seeing all the dodgy people hanging around the street (gang looking guys and homeless/drug affected). Needs to be a staff member at the door directing people, as so many people came in confused and kept walking up and pushing in front of people at the counter to ask questions. One staff member at huge desk serving a huge line of people. Security checkpoint isn't security. A guy in security outfit just checks your ticket and tells you which line to go to. No bag checks or security doors etc. Many other people made me feel really uncomfortable while waiting in there. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the bus got us to where we needed to be and left on time. The bus itself obviously isn't cleaned often and made it an uncomfortable trip. Whole place needs a revamp and much more staff and security presence.

I read all the reviews and was prepared for the most grueling travel experience of my life. Instead I found friendly staff who put me on a bus 5 hours sooner than my scheduled departure. Driver was a pro and handled L.A. traffic jam with ease. Everyone seemed knowledgeable and offered what information they had. I waited 2 hours and saw not a single bus delayed. YES there are bums hanging around Greyhound can't pick and choose who buys their tickets. YES the seating is a bit rundown. THIS IS DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES! Keep your head down and stay in the terminal and trouble won't find you. there are 3 security guards on hand. I can only speak for myself but keep in mind that people are much more likely to write a review about their terrible experience than their uneventful run-of-the-mill. I got more than my money's worth and I would advise anyone traveling on a budget that this place is NO WORSE than any other big city bus station. keep an open mind.... By the way it doesn't smell like piss

My God.....where do I begin? Purchased a ticket from San Diego to Los Angeles. Arrived to a war zone of a bus terminal in L.A. People arguing, areas divided off with dresser drawers, FILTH EVERYWHERE. Charging stations were filthy, bathrooms were atrocious. The homeless living in the restroom. There's more. The employees act as though they are on the streets of South Central. Literally watched two security guards brutally beat a man, even when they knew he was not all there in the head. After they beat him, they decided to have a profanity and boasting ceremony over how bad the man was beaten. The short security with the braids decided to make a public announcement that anyone who has a problem can get a beat down. Zero deescalation skills. (And he has a gun) That entire place needs a power wash and a blessing.

Don’t ever travel with greyhound they are very unprofessional they handle your property with no care at all and refuse to give you customer service. There’s no one you can contact when trying to be reunited with you valuable belongings.. every number you call is just another number that your going to be calling forever to possibly get the same answers that your not going to want to hear ! The people hear are rude and really don’t even know what’s going on it’s like one big circus freak show that you don’t want to be apart of a very dangerous way to travel if you are going to travel don’t use greyhound just spend that little extra money to fly if you have to ! No stars for me I wasn’t safe traveling and I’m still waiting to be reunited with my property..

So far I’m running late on my training Orientation day Due to a Delay From a Greyhound Driver???!!!! Greyhound you need to start Holding drivers accountable for their actions because it’s costing people time and money! If there was a Delay there should have been communication between dispatch to hold transfer buses so people don’t miss their deadlines. Why am I waiting 7 hours just to catch another Transfer bus because of driver actions. Drivers should be evaluated monthly with a metrics if they don’t pass then they should be cut or their pay should be cut for their actions. Drivers also should not be Skipping stops either !!!!!!! Why are Drivers leaving passengers behind which can cost the passenger MORE MONEY!!!!! Do Better GreyHound

Worst of the service As usual! Greyhound hasnt offered a good service in a while. I stopped using them years ago. And decided to give it a try again, and.... I hasn't changed, probably got worst. Had a critical appointment and decided to grab one bus that will give me 1 hour window. Since the one before i was waiting on was leaving 6 hrs early so i thought getting there one hour before my appointment was going to be fine. And bus delayed more than one hour. Should've taken the train or other bus company. EXPENSIVE lesson

This location asked me to comply on a mask mandate that security personnel and staff were not complying themselves. All staff and security are very dismissive, and security extra unprofessional. If you don't have the passion or patience to deal with people, please look for another job is the advice i will give to all Greyhound personal. Good luck to everybody at this station. Please provide feedback to Greyhound, and hopefully things change for the better for everyone.

I took the grey hund last weekend for thanks giving reunion with friends, everything is as good as before but the ticket price is expensive cause I did not book in advance. You can bing 4 luggages, and food or some drink, of course no alcohol. There are charge outlet and toilet available ( very small and watch out do not get rolled when using it;)) I rate it four star because I like traveling and driver seems helpful and nice.

The surrounding area doesn't feel safe or clean, but that's not under the station's control. When I got to the front of my correct line to board with my e-ticket, the ticket checker told me to go to the back of the line next to me only because she didn't have a scanner. I wouldn't have minded so much if I had been told ahead of time, before everyone had already switched lines and she started checking people.

Bus was delayed almost 2 hours, very little information given by gate staff. People left sitting around in dirty building. The area surrounding terminal is dangerous. The snacks and drinks from vending machines overpriced and food from cafe in buffet-style looked like it was 3 days old. If the train is only $10-15 more it is well worth it to take the train from Union Station instead!!!

The area may be a little shady but the place was great! The staff were very friendly and quick. The security were super nice and made me feel safe. The cafeteria has many options and the food was delicious. The ladies at the cafeteria were so nice. It was very well organized and the driver was friendly and informative. Definitely will be coming again thank you so much!

Nothing personal to the facility or employees, both were excellent. Food was damn good too. However over 3 days on a trip that was supposed to take only 24hrs is B S. Never. Ever. Again. Will. I. Ride. A. Greyhound. Bus. I am sore and hurting from sleeping on the floor and metal benches for the past two days, what little sleep I did get.

  • olga rios

Employees were terrible. One of the security guards was extremely aggressive towards everyone and made multiple threats to shoot and beat up people. The lady at the front desk had a horrible attitude as well, i stood in line for 2 hours despite the line only having about 20 people and she was going as slow as possible.

Went to pick up my brother, bus broke down and drastically changed up his arrival time. Things happen... While I waited, very busy, lots of people traveling. Good thing they have a food court, lots of seating area, public restroom, and the parking lot is pretty spacious. Overall okay.

Staff is ok, slow but ok. Waiting hours for my bus to be told we didn't have a driver. Stood in line and easily got a new ticket printed. People do sleep around, smells like urine. Armed security but kind of hoping I get the opportunity to smack someone upside the head. …

  • Uchenna

They are always over an hour late. They know when the buses are scheduled to depart but they still bring the buses around and board very late. Such incompetence, it’s disgusting

  • Jordan Saunders

Don’t expect to be on time to your destination. Expect the bus to break down and to pay full price for this service and the additional what
