For two weeks now I’ve been doing all the legwork in contacting this Lowe’s and trying to track down my lumber order. As of writing this, I have yet to have received any call from Lowe’s, and have to to reach out for information every time. Multiple times I have been left on hold for so long that the call is cut off. Before I ordered the lumber, I called and asked what the possibility of getting lumber delivered on Sunday was (I called on Thursday, May 18th). I was told that it would be tight, which is understandable, but that they could more than likely make it happen, so I placed the order and waited for the call within 24 hours to confirm. No call came. After giving them the weekend, I called again to find out a delivery date, and the associate I spoke to was helpful, but unable to find a date for me. I called again the next day and the associate said that my order would be delivered on the 30th, and had always been scheduled for that date. I was confused as to why there was an issue in giving me that information sooner, but glad the matter was settled. Jumping to the 30th, I had still yet to receive a call about a delivery time, so I reached out yet again and when I gave the order information, the associate asked “When was this supposed to be delivered?” indicating the order had not been scheduled to be delivered at all. Finally, the matter was resolved today (May 31) but not after even more issues. The manager who I spoke with on my first phone call was very helpful, and told me that she would get it sorted and I would get a call back within 20 minutes to confirm. After an hour of waiting for a call, I reached out again and after speaking to an associate, was placed on hold again until I was disconnected. I called back once more, and the associate who I spoke to just before, Yohan, then took it upon himself to help me. We found that the order I placed was never put into the delivery manifest, so the May 30th delivery I was told of never existed. Yohan was extremely helpful, and let me know that the manager I had spoken to previously had sorted out the delivery, but the person who was supposed to call me hadn’t confirmed it with me. Delivery is now scheduled for tonight. I am extremely grateful for Yohan’s help, but very frustrated at how ridiculous this whole runaround was, with me having to do all of the work to sort out something that I shouldn’t have had to do. I will be very wary of placing online orders with this Lowe’s in the future.

The state of this store is way beyond sad. I try to support local stores (and live only minutes away) but another trip here this evening leaves me feeling stupid for even giving it a try. Yet again, of the 2 types of plywood their website said was in stock, 1 could not be found and all examples of the other were warped beyond usability. Perhaps the one not found did exist, but I couldn't catch the attention of at least a dozen different staff who refused to make eye contact as they walked briskly past (this was 30 min before closing and there were clearly more staff in the store than customers). The current lumber storage practices are atrocious (if you want wavy plywood, this is your place). The super-nice drawers in the hardware section are routinely 75% empty and what exists in them is mostly randomly mis-located stuff. And good luck finding anything common during seasonal periods, like landscape fabric or hose repair kits in June - they will always be out of stock regardless of what the website tells you. In the 2000s this was a pretty decent go-to for me, but after 21 years of shopping at this location and witnessing continual decline, I'm done. I'll drive 4 times further to the competition, where on average the employees are actually trying at least a little bit. I don't always find what I need there either, but at least I've never left there thinking "why did I even bother?" which is what I've thought almost every time I've tried this store in the past 3 or 4 years. Honestly, the last few years I've only felt obliged to come here once in a while out of not wanting to see these employees lose their jobs if it closes - but these days none of them seem to care at all so I really don't feel like I should either.

My recent experience with Lowe’s has been incredibly frustrating and has caused significant inconvenience. When I purchased a stackable washer and dryer, the salesperson failed to inform me about the necessity of a stacking bracket, leading to a major hassle with two separate deliveries. The first delivery team refused to bring the appliances to my unit, and the second team informed me of the missing bracket. This resulted in wasted time and effort, as the installation couldn’t be completed. I had to wait an extra week for the bracket to arrive, causing inconvenience to my tenant and resulting in a rent reduction. Adding to my frustration, it’s been over two weeks since I ordered the brackets, and I have received no updates from Lowe’s. Repeated calls to the store have gone unanswered. Moreover, the salesperson insisted that I purchase new hoses for the washer and a new vent hose for the dryer, claiming that the installation team would refuse to install the appliances without them. This turned out to be unnecessary, as the washer came with its own hoses, which were perfectly suited for it. I ended up installing the washer and dryer myself and did not use the extra hoses I was compelled to buy. This entire experience has been a series of miscommunications and misinformations, leading to unnecessary expenses and a great deal of inconvenience on my part.

I find this to be one of the best lowest locations so for whatever that's worth! Since the US company take-over their product selection and inventory is pathetic. I could go on for days complaining about how bad corporate franchise Lowe's has become - point in case, have you ever tried to use their website? The stock isn't accurate the photos don't match the products and half the time the product descriptions are incorrect as well as the technical details! Most of the time when I've tried to buy something online I would end up having to return it because it's not actually what the description said it was. So with that said I'm not sure why they even have a website in addition their website IP address or computer location intelligence is always wrong and tries to make my local store one that is across the country and I have to change it every time even though I save the one in my neighborhood as my local store it changes it every time. Anyways this location is pretty decent as far as their staff and knowledge go, but if you're a contractor I would suggest going to Home Depot or your go-to specialty supply shops. Therapy IP pro desk staff at this location are probably the best in the city! One last thing they really need to start carrying higher grade tools like hilti and Milwaukee.

Let me as a home owner and two time shopper of this brutal place . First off customer service was a run around hassle from point of sale, any information coming after sale, no one from any three points of contact had any information that was the same. Now finally after two weeks again for the second Time the install people refused the work and left the old dishwasher there and didn't install the new one . Showed up hour and half late and left in 20 minutes . Didn't even give a chance for my renter's to move a couple things and want another cost to come install again. This happened the first time and a washer and dryer and left my renter's high and dry with nothing installed and no solution and when lowers was called by my wife it was nothing can be done and you have to pay another installation fee. If it wasn't for a sale price we would have never come to them again. I would rather pay extra somewhere else for any type of better service. From a client based career I'm involved in on a daily bases i can't believe the service on all levels on this company from point of sale right to installation. To my fellow buyers and home owner's. Please read this from a calm rational person that this place has been a nightmare both times. The price isn't worth it. I wish you all good luck.

In December I saw online that a snow blower that I have been eyeing is on sale and in stock at the Crowfoot location. I walked in to buy it but I couldn't find it in the snow blower area and I couldn't find anyone to help me so I walked over to customer service where there was a bunch of employees standing and chatting behind the counter, I told them that I am looking for a snow blower and that I checked online and it says the store should have one. One of the employees pointed to the snow blower area and I told him that I had already checked that area and I couldn't find it, he told me that all the snow blowers are there and if I don't see it, that they don't have it. So I went home and ordered it online for pick up to see what would happen. I got a email from the store a few days later saying they couldn't locate the item. Fast forward six months later and I happen to check the website to see if that snow blower is in stock and now it shows two in stock. I place another online order for pick up, a few days later I get a cancel email because out of stock...

Apologies to the Crowfoot branch for the low rating, (they'd get a 3/5), but the online purchase experience is horrible. Stock at this store is sometimes an issue in my experience, so I purchased this regularly sold item at Rona.ca. The order came decently quick, but really terrible packaging and worried for damage when I noticed it was the wrong item (size incorrect). Calling Customer Service they told me to take it to the store for refund, and store staff had a hard time with it. Eventually told me it was a different system online vs the store and I could not return it. Took it back home and called Rona.ca service again, only to have them wonder why the store cannot return it. Endless suffering loop. I'm now waiting for an email from Rona.ca asking the store to return it. I cannot imagine me being that desperate to buy from Rona.ca again. I guess the knife in this bed of nails is the Customer Service agent starting to quote their return policy to me after I explained it was simply shipped to me incorrectly.

Purchased a dishwasher from Lowe's along with all the accessories. When the delivery was scheduled, I requested that the dishwasher be installed and old dishwasher removed... I was wrongly informed, the dishwasher was delivered in a timely manner but they were unable to install it. I phoned the delivery department and was told that I must go to my closest Lowe's and schedule an installation. I reluctantly drove to my nearest Lowe's, where they told me that I would have better luck calling the plumber myself because an installation through them would take 7-10 days. Long story short - I scheduled an installation with an independent plumber, paid $30 more than what Lowe's was going to charge, and we did not need all the parts that Lowe's required me to buy. On the plus side, Lowe's return process was seamless and I received a refund right away!

Friendly and knowledgable staff as well as a great selection of appliances at very competitive prices. I visited the store to purchase a refrigerator. The gentleman that helped me out was very patient and very knowledgeable. I know nothing of refrigerators so I had a lot of questions. I spent about 45 minutes with this fellow comparing features and brands and not even once did he become impatient with me. In fact he was the opposite , kind with a sense of humour! Also, I had this refrigerator delivered and the two gentlemen that delivered it were the most professional delivery people I have ever had to my house! They were prompt, to the point, and they moved through my house with care. They were fast, friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this store if you are in the market for appliances !

My wife and I always go to this Lowe's and the customer service is always mediocre. However this time, my wife asked about a product which showed 4 in stock at the store but the employee just sent her on a wild goose chase to an aisle that doesn't exist and told her they were probably sold out without giving any alternative brands to choose from. In all reality, this directly impacts my decision to not buy the tool from Lowe's and I will instead order it off of Amazon. Update 1 year later: Service is still awful, it took me over 30 minutes just to pickup an online order. Anytime I am there it is almost impossible to find help in the paint section and most of the employees seem like the they don't know anything.

I give one star because there is no ZERO star. We bought the train Santa during Christmas time and when we wanted to package the Christmas stuff and realized the train did NOT work anymore. Then my husband took the product to return it, the manger called BALU said that is final sale and cannot to return it! First, we don’t know that is final sale and nobody told us when we buy it. Second we did not find FINAL SALE in our receipt. Third, I don’t think BALU can take his responsibility as the store manager, when my husband did not want to waste time with him, and wanted to get the receipt back and go home, BALU still talked lots, if you cannot do it, just don’t waste our time. VERY VERY BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE!!!

Was looking at an item online and saw that this location was the only one in the province that was in stock. Online inventory said only one left, so I called the store to confirm. Holly at Customer Service took my call and was able to confirm that her computer had the item in stock, but was going to get someone to physically check and call me back. Based on my experiences at other stores I honestly never thought I would get that call back... but Holly proved me wrong! She called me back within half an hour and not only had located the item but put it on hold for me. I didn't even have to ask. Pickup went smoothly and the item matched the online description and price. 10/10 would shop here again.

aug 6/23 went to crowfoot girl at contractors desk had no idea what to do when I asked for help with deck railing she said they only work mon-fri what the hell I walked away mad I’m a woman not sure all I needed but run into a gentleman by the name of Frank that worked there asked if he could help with the railing he went above expectations to help me and my daughter thank you so much Frank for all you did to help a customer wow you deserve a big ⭐️ hope they can recognize your well done job come on manger $$ ‘s for Frank after what he did for us I spent over $2200 dollars if not I would of left and went else where thank you !!!

I’m a small business owner, I called looking for a product that was said to be in store. I’m located in Lethbridge and Calgary was the only place with stock. I called and a lady named Bev took it upon herself to do a full fledged search for this stuff for me. She even phoned other stores and called me back letting me know where to find them. It’s the individuals that work hard like that that really should be rewarded for their hard work. A review isn’t much, but Bev, you deserve at least this much. Thanks for your help

Bought a Jacuzzi tub filler. Already leaking from the diffuser cannot buy and replacement parts. Jacuzzi will warranty the unit which I bought in November 2022. However never kept the receipt. Been dealing with the Manager Alex Roy to track it down with his head office and unbelievable follow up and took a few months as I gave him the wrong dates and transaction number from my visa company. Appreciate the customer service as most big box stores would just ignore you . Thanks Again Jay Wigelsworth

I am a normal diyer and went this location TWICE to look for the same thing pipe material (elbow, coupling, cross pipe tees) an nice old Lowes gentle man (who was from another dept) help me to find its right location and some lowes young lady who was in charge for the pipe area. Unfortunately the lowes young lady officially refused to help me for no reasons. The nice Lowes old gentleman was so surprised as well. Why she didn't bother to help.. what can I say... this happened twice in a row..

Understaffed. No carts. The few staff there clueless about basic inventory in their department. Asked staff today if they had jigsaw blades. Dismissed with ‘ oh we don’t have those anymore’ , literally while walking past a display of Bosch jigsaw blades. Not the first time this has occurred. Done after today. Thanks to google reviews, heading out of my way to Hillhurst hardware for any needs more complex than a bag of gravel.

Apathetic and slow service EDIT following a recent call today into the store to request an inventory check, after 2hrs waiting there was no callback in the 30min requested by the associate in bath department. Further calls into the store were just transferred and left to disconnect after being on hold. Would suggest corporate to review the location, this conduct is bad for business, will not be giving a third chance

The store is awesome. The selection is amazing the staff are incredible but if you are a younger white male watch out because the store security will follow you around like a hawk. I came to buy $1000 in tools and was harassed three or four times by the secret shopper thinking I was shoplifting very very uncomfortable situation and unfortunately is more and more common. I have found this at many of their locations.

Was in today with my newly purchased pink drill from Amazon! I just wanted to hang a picture had no idea that a drill was so complex and so many moving parts. Harsh was so patient with me and he took the time to explain what I needed and how to properly use everything from start to finish. Thank you so much Harsh, I was able to hang my picture and 2 more! Average. Not the nicest of staff, don't find them at all helpful. Especially when the attendant pulled the stuff from my hands that I wanted to buy. The online sales staff are insulting. Told me that it wasn't the price even thought I had a picture of the posted price and they refused to look at it. That help make my purchase easy, go elsewhere. There is many stores to pick from.

Really impressed with the service I had today. There was only one model left of the item I was looking for in the city, so it was a bit of a drive to come to this location, but Cody was helpful, knowledgeable, and polite, and he was able to find it, and helped me load it up after purchase. Great experience, would make the trip to come back here.

Bought some cabinets back in September, unfortunately one of them had a bad hinge. I came back and complained to manager and they were exceptional in their understanding of my issue. The kitchen staff who sold it to me, Nima was just a wonderful staff. The staff went over bord to make me feel appreciated Koodos Lowes at crawfoot.

If I can give no star I would . Rent a carpet cleaner when try to use it and find out it’s not clean by the previous renters. We have to rinse it ourselves before we use it . Do not try to phone this store the phone systems do not work. I called three times on hold for 15 minutes before the call just drops. I went into the store and the employee told me that the phone system is horrible and he doesn’t trust it. You have to go into the store.

Today I went into Crowfoot Lowe’s for some paint. I was greeted instantly by Sophie. She was super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We picked out a paint in less than a minute. Being a manager myself in retail this was brilliant customer service. Thank you Sophie.

I'm glad to see Rona switched to a Lowe's. The prices for better and they have a much better selection than the nearest Home Depot. The store is clean and well organized with bathrooms that are cleaner than what you normally encounter in home improvement stores.

It's close to me so good for quick trips when I need smaller stuff. Unfortunately their selection lacks, I do irrigation and plumbing, so I'm always irritated at their lack of stock. I therefore go to Home Depot more often.
