As a family of 5, I've wanted photos done of all of us for a while now but hadn't gotten around to sorting it. After a consultation with Owen, i finally got a date in the diary to make it happen. The date arrived finally and my children decided that they didn't want to have any photos done!!! Owen was amazing though, very patient, his calm nature got the children out of their shell and we soon got some lovely images done. Owen worked around the children and even incorporated a shot with their beloved tablets! This was an ice breaker. Considering 2 of my children have special needs, this was never going to be an easy task but somehow Owen made it easily accomplished. The studio is lovely, comfortable and in a great location in the city so very easy to grab a tasty treat once the shoot is over. Thank you so much, highly recommend this studio.

Owen was absolutely great, I wanted some professional pictures taken for my work profile and I'm soo pleased with the results! Owen made me feel super comfortable (although I was nervous about having to pose and have pictures taken), and answered all my questions about photography with kindness and patience. I particularly enjoyed Owens set up which allows you to see the the images straight away, and give instant feedback. I would thoroughly recommend Owen for headshots and the setting in a beautiful, colourful gallery was an added bonus!!

Owen is such a delight! He made feel welcome and comfortable, and took some great pictures. He listened to my feedback on the go, we had a lot of fun and gave me some excellent advice of what would work and what wouldn’t. I really valued Owen 1 delivering amazing quality and 2 willing to try different things and experiment. It felt like we co-created something, rather than just been churned out. Would recommend Owen to anyone looking to get any headshots or other photographs taken!

After nearly 2 decades of not picking up my old SLR, I had purchased a DSLR and was totally baffled by the controls. I booked a course with Owen and found my "thing" as a an amateur photographer. Owen's depth of knowledge, experience and skills have been a great inspiration to put down the compact, phone and the bridge camera and brave the "big boy" camera. This is a gem of an art gallery. I spent a good hour looking at their huge range of original artwork (including a few real show-stoppers). The owner, Owen, was very knowledgeable about the work of the artists featured. There was a good range of affordable prints available too. Well worth a visit. I’ll be back.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable and professional experience at Lux. The studio is well-equipped and spacious and the photographer was very friendly and good at his job, making me feel completely at ease. The photos came out fantastic.
