Normally I don't write reviews except for when I really like something or when I'm completely disappointed.. This Clinic was a complete disappointment. The hours of operation are from 9 AM. I was there at 8:50 AM. and a receptionist took the health card and checked us in. (She was super nice and sweet) So I waited until 9:20 to ask how much longer it's going to be as they were calling many people in, but they were being called because they had appointment with their family doctors.. and the receptionist politely told me that the doctor has not come in yet as soon as she comes in I will let you know..so I asked her what time is The walking doctor supposed to start working and she responded by saying 9 AM. The walk in doctor was supposed to start working at 9AM. Around 9:40 I asked again if the doctor had come in and she responded saying that yes she just came in.. She did not walk in from the front door so I'm assuming she walked in from the back door... So around 9:45 they put me in the room and the nurse attended us.. the doctor came into the room around 9:50 AM. It's very disappointing to see that they don't take other people's time into consideration except for their own.. The doctor's name is Guirguis Isis and unfortunately she had no smile or expressions on her face.. what bothered me is that they call this place " emergent care" but clearly there was no such thing.

Absolutely the worst front desk staff. Expect to be on hold for 20+ minutes before you can even speak to a receptionist. That is if they even answer. I have called 5 times today each call was directly put on hold and then disconnect after 10 minutes. Therefore I haven’t been able to make an appointment with my family doctor. Not to mention my last experience in person with Angela. She is rude and could not care less about the patients both in person and over the phone. I’ve watched her put patients on hold to answer personal calls. When she “forgot” to check me in in person.. after I literally checked in with her (there was only one other person in the whole waiting room) .. she proceeded to accuse of me of not checking in and then tell me it was my fault for waiting to speak up after she realized her error. as if me giving her the benefit of the doubt that she did her job correctly was wrong and giving courtesy to the other patient was my fault too. Next time, as she suggested I’ll assume she hasn’t done her job properly I guess?!? Dr So is a good doctor, but there are lots of good doctors.. I’d avoid this office if possible and I myself plan to switch Dr’s. Sadly, as this doctor has been my daughters doctor since birth but it’s not worth the battle to make a simple appointment and dealing with terrible staff.

Unfortunately my son and I have family doctor in this clinic: MCI Meadowvale. Took at least 20-30 minutes to reach out the receptionist and she said they don't have record that my son ever met the family doctor there. WHAT??? Then I asked her back, who is my son's family doctor then? Who gave him immunizations since he was a baby if he never visited Dr Martin there as family doctor How come this doctor office lost the records? Finally she told me that if patients do not come for a long time, they can't find the record in the computer anymore. She asked me why it's been years I and my son didn't visit the family doctor there but visited other doctors? I told her those were walk ins.... The main reason is because it's too hard to make appointment, at least 20-30 minutes on hold before receptionist pick up the call, and every time we are sick it doesn't make sense to wait family doctor in the next 2 or 3 weeks or even a month later, right At every time you have appointment, at least you have to wait 1-2 hours before your turn, then wait another 30 minutes in the room. Ridiculous!!! I am thinking to find a better doctor office!!!!!!

The receptionists here are incredibly unprofessional. I commute an hour to see my family doctor who I’ve been happy with for several years now, yet the receptionists call me only 40 minutes before my appointment to inform me my doctor is sick today. I was already driving and on my way, so my phone was in driving mode and therefore silences all calls. Surely if the doctor was sick, they could have tried to reach me in the morning. When I arrived to check in, the main receptionist, who I could barely hear over the conversation of the other two receptionists between themselves, simply laughed and said “oh, no you didn’t answer your phone” blaming it on me for arriving for my now cancelled appointment. It was INCREDIBLY rude of her to insinuate it was entirely my fault because I didn’t answer my phone DURING my commute. I am considering switching clinics and doctors because of the lack of professionalism and decency with the receptionists at this location. I hope something can be done about this, but I doubt it considering they’ve been like this for years and despite the account replying to other bad reviews here, they haven’t changed.

The doctors here are great! And not sure why Dr.Martin works at this place.. she’s way too good to be here. The reception staff are literally the worst!!! They are not helpful at all and no one ever answers the phone. The main job of the receptionist is to schedule appointments for patients and somehow they are terrible at doing that. That’s the MAIN aspect of your job.. how can you mess that up ? And don’t ever expect an appointment reminder call... all other offices in the world send text reminders or call patients to remind them, but not MCI. Wait time is INSANE!! I once waited for 2 hours in the waiting room with my newborn baby and we HAD AN APPOINTMENT. My baby was getting fussy and hungry so I had no choice but to leave without seeing the doctor. (No one even cares to update you about any delays). When you ask the admin staff for an update on the wait... they apparently don’t know anything and tell me, THE PATIENT to ask the nurses when I get into the room. I’ve waited less time in the emergency room to see a doctor.. this entire office needs to be revamped.. they need to change all their processes and staff.

It took me almost over a week to be able to book an appointment with my family doctor who works at this location . The receptionist had me on hold for 30 mins each time I called ( I called 4 different times on separate days as I can’t sit on hold for 30 mins when I have a life ) . She even put me on hold when I was in mid sentence. She then proceeded to answer my call as if we weren’t just talking about appointment times . Which felt like she wasn’t paying attention at all, even after I patiently waited almost an hour ... This happens ALL the time I call . Despite making an appointment I still have to wait almost an hour past my scheduled appointment time to see my doctor ( this has happened twice already ) The only good thing about this office is that they provide a lot of medical treatments, the offices are clean. And my doctor answers all my questions - he’s the reason I’m giving it 2 stars . The service from the receptionist and wait times deserves a -0.

I’VE NEVER FELT SO UNSAFE IN MY LIFE. If I could give it -5 I would. I can't believe a place like this is allowed to operate. I went in bleeding profusely down my arm, in obvious need of stitches. Absolutely zero regard for people in search of medical attention. The desk staff woman, took her sweet time to find a doctor. Only to return and tell me that no doctor was available for urgent care (...at an URGENT CARE CLINIC), and advised that I go to a walk in clinic (for stitches...). Didn't even have a nurse see me, even at my express request. Absolutely beyond unprofessional, and completely lacking in even the most basic level of even first aid training. Didnt even ask for a health card. Do yourself a favour and go to a real medical clinic. The staff at this place would have no problem letting you bleed out in the waiting room, as they finish their personal phone conversations. Don’t walk, RUN AWAY from this place.

This review is specifically regarding to the walk-in service as I do like my Family Dr. and the receptionists are always nice to me. However if you have to go to the walk-in for whatever reason, please try to avoid Tuesday and Thursday or try to avoid Dr. Isis Guirguis. I brought my daughter for a visit couple days ago. Never mind the wait time, Dr. Guirguis walked in the room with a very cold, rude tone without any greeting to both of us. My daughter literally got scared and upset by the way Dr. Guirguis asking the question. She has no respect to the patients at all. We went there for nothing after all the wait time as my girl just wanted to leave the office and not seeing this Dr. any longer. Please do call before you go and ask for the Dr. On duty for walk in. I am always highly respected to all the Doctors. However I wanted to share my experience so that the other people could avoid the bad experience.

You're better off going to the ER of your local hospital. The wait times for this place are horrible - don't even bother going here for a walk-in visit. I live locally so I thought that this location would be convenient for me to visit on the occasion that I am sick - my family doctor is a bit of a distance to travel. However, of the 5 times that I have visited this clinic, only ONCE was I able to see a doctor - the other 4 times I wasted my entire day (between 4 and 6 hours) waiting on and off site for a doctor. Just awful. The Receptionist is very kind and understanding, but there must be some extensive internal process challenges to have people waiting this long, and have to leave after waiting so long, to see a doctor. I would not recommend and I will not be back.

Firstly I have been with my family doc at this clinic for some yrs and Dr So is the best. Regarding all the negative comments on the front office staff I have never encountered anything. You have to be patient and courteous as they are working under a lot of pressure. Yes, wait times have become way more than they used to be and it’s because the doc has to type in everything on the computer for each patient’s consultation which takes time and sometimes we patients are to blame as we go with one problem and when it comes to consulting we bring five more problems to the table and some patients forget that there are other patients waiting to see the doctor and just carry on talking and talking.

Ever since this place moved to Millcreek location and was taken over by another company, this place has become a big money making shop and not a doctor's office any more. The treatment and care has deteriorated. The receptionist never pick up phones. 30 minutes is sometimes minimum on hold. And these days they are not polite. They are rude. I see numerous bad review before me for a long time like a pattern. All the owner says is "We are sorry and apologise:. This is not an apology and they definitely do not care to improve. Because its been a long time it is going on. They know it and they have not done anything so far. It keeps getting worse. Don't fly with their fake apologies.

I got disconnected from the receptionist so I got a ride to the clinic only to be told that it's virtual/calls only today(sunday)... once the doctor called me he said he couldn't help me and then told me to make an in person appointment for another day , when I tried talking/asking questions to him he said contact the receptionist and hung up on me... horrible service and very disrespectful of a medical person to be hanging up on ppl. I called the office to see about an appointment and she told me she had nothing open until Tuesday... I might as well just book an appointment with my own doctor cause these walk in clinics are not staffed and have doctors that hang up on you

A friend recommended this Dental Clinic, so I went yesterday and had the most unforgettable good experience. Dr Deif is an amazing Dentist. She is highly educated, very knowledgeable, caring, friendly and extremely professional. She checked my teeth and gums and very quickly recognised the problem and gave me a very good honest advice on how to deal with it. Although I live in Markham and this Dental Clinic is in Mississauga, it was worth the drive. Dr Deif is the best Dentist that I have ever dealt with and because of my good experience she will be my permanent dentist to go to. If you are looking for a good dentist with friendly staff, this will be the clinic to go to.

If there is a 0 score I will give it to them. Definitely bad experience twice in a row. The Walk-in receptionit is rude the first time like I was bothering her for coming in, gave me a cup to pee in which i think is not even sterilized. And the doctor was not even busy and made me wait for 45 minutes just to see me for 5 minutes. And the 2nd time I came, same receptionist was on a phone call and made me wait to finish her personal call. She knows I was waiting and completely ignored me just to finish her conversation only to tell me that there is no doctor available. They advertise as Urgent and Walk-In clinic and there is NO doctor available! What a waste of time!

Absolutely the worst doctor's office I have ever been to. I've had many virtual appointments as well as one today in person. I have barely ever had a good experience. They are easy to book and are in a convenient location but the service is the worst. Once I went in about an asthma issue I was having and the doctor literally said "What exactly do you want me to do here Ivy?" Your job maybe? Today, I went in asking for a referral to a specialist. The doctor did not take me seriously, the appointment lasted 3 minutes, there was no checkup. The doctors do not care about clients, the staff are generally rude, it's a waste of time. Do not come here.

Dear MCI I have a question for you, why is it that when patients book an appointment with their family doctor they have to wait so long especially when some of their patients work in health care as well? I’m just wondering because that’s what seems to happen to me all the time. My appointment today was for 4:30pm and my doctor has not called me or I haven’t gotten a call saying my doctor is running late. Just a suggestion could there be a way for the office to call their patients to let them know that their doctor is running late? This puts me back on my job as again I’m a health care worker.

I checked the website to confirm the walk-in times, I even called. Recording says walk-ins are accepted till 3pm. Got to the clinic at 1:50pm. I was told walk-in hours are closed. I asked her why the website and their phone line gives a different time, the reception told me “it is head office that does the recordings and website”, I asked said “You should inform head office”. The receptionist told me to call head office. When I asked her for the number she told me to “google it.” Save yourself the time and go to any other place. Very unprofessional front desk.

I find that every time I make an appointment and come here I am waiting for over an hour to even be put in a room. I understand that there are delays and it’s hard to estimate how long each patient would be with the doctor but it’s the fact that I am not told of the delay, instead I sit waiting while the receptionist takes personal phone calls on speaker. It’s about respect, if there is a delay you let your patients know ahead of time. after finally seeing the doctor she told me she doesn’t know what’s wrong and sent me with a random referral for an x-ray.

They say they open at 10 on Sunday. Yet it is 10:15 and there is a line of 15 people so far and not a single dr or secretary has shown up. I guess being punctual is not important to them. Makes me wonder what type of medical quality service they give here. The people behind me are getting upset and rightly so. At least if the secretary could of been here to pretend to have people getting ready to see the Dr. People would understand and not be upset. I have my family Dr here but after today I feel it is time to find a new one.

I have not had a bad experience in the past. However recently I booked an appointment for my daughter's immunization and was about to reach the clinic when they called to say the doctor cancelled and I have to reschedule for the next day. I went the next day and after waiting for an hour the nurse says they do not have the vaccine. This was unacceptable as I wasted 4 hours of my work in the last two days. I had to reschedule the appointment again. I am furious about this and I had to write this review. VERY FURIOUS.

My doctor is absolutely great but if you are trying to call the reception for an appointment no one answers and if they answer I think the receptionists panic and find a excuse to put you on a forever hold. I think medical clinics are like royalty and don't care about improvement. And by giving an appointment they are doing us a favour. Maybe that's why they put in a lot of effort to select a good tune to play for calls on hold. 5 stars for that.

The worst experience ever !!! The receiption let me wIt over 20 minutes without any response When I call back based on their request to approve a medication,the guy on the reception refused to let me talk to my doctor and insisted to come to the clinic which is not needed . He was rude and not cooperative at all. I will definitely move to another place where patients are respected and business are appreciated.

It has been a good, but recently 10 days to get even a phone consultation with someone who is supposed to be My Family doctor? Perhaps your taking in too many walk in patients and don't have enough time for those who are supposed to be the Family Practice. I would suggest evaluating the gap times. Edit: A year later the appointment times have gotten back to normal. Much better times again for appointments.

They say they're open on Sundays. I arrive at opening time and the receptionist tells me there are no doctors working that day, and walk-ins are by appointment only anyway. 1. Why do you advetise yourself as open if you're not providing services, 2. Why do you call it walk-in if it's by appointment only?! You know how the public would interpret those words. Do not mislead us! So frustrating.

We were there for a walk-in at 9:20am and waited till 10:45. The doctor still hadn't arrived. The receptionist was busy chatting with other staff and kept us standing there at the counter to answer our question. Horrible management. Wasted half a day and had to leave without seeing the doctor. Worst experience. They make a point to show that they truly don't care about patients.

Since I've worked in five different clinics before in Mississauga and Etobicoke I can say this is the best one in terms of management and one of the best in terms of work environment. Recently moved and needed a new doctor's office to visit. Had an appointment scheduled to see the allergist. The staff were very kind on the phone. I walked in 8 minutes late for my appointment but they did not hassle me about it. Was seen by 5 different staff during my visit. They were all very friendly, pleasant and professional. I'm very glad I came to this clinic.

I normally have to call 8-10 times between a couple days just to get a phone call answered. even when you have an appointment with a family doctor you end up waiting over an hour. Dr. mogla is good.

Worst customer experience when you try to book an appointment. Average waiting for someone to pick up a call is half hour to one hour if not more. so disappointing and never improved. We dont have all day just to try to get an appointment. no one picks up and by time they pick, they ask you to hold on!!!! it is not once or twice but ALL THE TIME!

The worst clinic in the area. Tried to book an appointment with Dr Tran. Both appointments were cancelled day before. Receptionist was not able to schedule the next one saying she does not know when Dr Tran will be in the clinic. Communication with the receptionist over the phone was very poor due to her heavy accent and very quiet voice.

Had my family doctor here. They left, applied to be on the list for a new family doctor. Injured my hand. Went in to get help, was refused a referral to a hand specialist in order to have someone see my hand for medical attention for no particular reason. This place lost most of its good doctors, they left for whatever reason.

Cannot connect to receptionist after calling several times. There is no way to book an appointment online and nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone via phone! I have had to call back several times to ask why my referrals to other specialists have not contacted me yet. If you are looking for a new doctor, look elsewhere.

Went here today to see an endocrinologist, Dr. Lubchansky. She was very knowledgeable and nice. Took all of my concerns seriously and when I wanted to mention or ask something, she listened! Compared to other doctors I've been to that dismiss or don't even listen to what I have to say, I had a good experience with her. :)

Receptionist is the most unprofessional person I've met. She didn't want to attend me, said were closed when they were clearly open qnd they had peopke waiting. Lady doesn't care about anyone. They won't fire her either because I've seen her at this location for ever better off never coming here to be honest.

I even called at 18:30 to confirm the clinic is open until 20:00, and I got there 5 minutes later just to see a sign on a locked door. Why do doctors enjoy playing around and wasting patients’ time so much? If you’re going to close over an hour early then the least you can do is update the phone greeting!

Why is the place even open? I went to get test done and called them and nobody knows how to find the results. Everyone is passing you to another person nobody knows what’s really going on and then they suggest you come back in as if you have just that to do and the first time you came was just for fun

Family doctor here for years, never an issue with them. The issue is the admin/receptionists. Keep you on hold for long periods of time and hang up on you while holding. Insane how they have been getting away with being so bad at their jobs as it’s been like this for years.

The worst customer service and respect for patients. All staff like to make excuses and put the blame on someone else or on the patient. Long wait time for specialist allergist appointments. Waited an hour and a half for an appointment booked a month in advance.

Went there with my mom on a Sunday morning. Front staff were friendly and efficient. Intake nurse was also the same. Doctor took the necessary time and asked thorough questions. Efficient and professional. Exactly what a walk-in clinic should provide. Thanks!

the clinic is location conveniently for me and the doctors take their to examine. the worst pat, as everyone else is stating, is the reception. they really need an online booking system. it takes an average of 30 mins or so to talk to the reception.

Absolutely horrendous, non existent service. It is IMPOSSIBLE to reach reception. Can’t make an appointment if you tried. Dr Saleem has been our family doc for 20 years. We are in the process of getting a new family doc. Enough is enough!

Dr. So is great. However, as I am writing this. I have been on hold to speak with someone at the front for 27 minutes now. Last time I tried, I was simply cut off. The administrative side to this location is terrible and should improve.
