I have had a monthly parking pass for months at this location. I paused my pass for a month and when I returned they made me pay to open a completely new account with a new monthly price that was $160 more expensive. A few weeks later, I arrived to my car in the morning to find it had been broken into. Someone had pulled everything out of all of the glove compartments, put all the seats down, and left garbage. I told the garage that I was not asking them to replace stolen items, but I did want a refund on the monthly pass as I would be parking elsewhere. Their response was, "Read the sign." When I again expressed how unsafe I felt parking there since someone had invaded the space during a pandemic, they again said "read the sign." They refuse to give me my money back.

Wow, We just got our stuff stolen in this parking lot. Alarms must've went off when the thief used our antenna to pry open my car's window but the guards didn't even know it happened. Here's the funny part, it was literally 5 seconds walk distance away from their office. Also, we left the parking ticket inside the glove compartment, but that was gone too for some reason so I had to pay full $42 for it where else it was $20. This leads me to thinking that those guards had something to do with this robbery because I could clearly see cctvs but the guards refused to roll it back. The fact that they refused to roll back cctv records, make it even worse. Do not go to this place, either the guards are thieves or this place does not care about your car at all.

Excellent place in the middle of the city. I always prefer self parking garage when visiting the city. Was leaving the car at a self o place at battery park and took the subway before. This time found tried the mpg Manhattan parking after coming across the website. It’s absolutely amazing. Register, book online get the QR code and scan it directly from your phone at the gate. Same thing when you exit. EZ as 1-2-3. Spots are great large enough to be safe. Only thing you need to keep an eye on is the wall on some spots. This place is my #1 when visiting the city from now on. Price? It’s surprisingly very affordable. 8:15 - 3:30 parking was $24. Safe, with on-site people which are very friendly. Highly recommended!

Safe self parking for NYC. The staff was friendly. We purchased a ticket to park there online which does not mention they don't allow motorcycles. Luckily the lady was friendly and let us park there since we had a ticket and online didn't say they don't park motorcycles. Shebhad us park up near the office so they could keep an eye on the motorcycle. Then leaving the kiosk wouldn't scan the ticket, the guy opened the gate after checking that we have already paid. Getting in was a little difficult but getting out was easy. Gave only a 4 Star because they didn't post they do not accept motorcycles and we almost had to find other self parking.

Having to drive to NYC from Canada, I was a bit apprehensive to park anywhere for a week in NYC. The reviews were bleak and scary for most of the places, even after spending dearly. This was one place that had relatively decent reviews and I rolled the dice on this one. I booked online, and I am pleased to report that the whole process had been smooth. The entry and exit werehassle- free, as I didn't need to get out of my car or speak to somebody (though I observed there was someone that manned this place for assistance all the time). If I ever brought my car into the city again, this is where I know i'm gonna park my car.

I prepaid for parking through the company's website and parked in the garage for 7 hours. When I tried to scan the reservation code upon leaving the code was not accepted. The parking attendant accused me of leaving the garage earlier and then coming back in, which was not the case. Therefore I was forced to pay again before I was allowed to leave the garage. So a $45 parking reservation became $90. The self-service aspect and location of the garage were convenient but if I return, I will not pay in advance for a reservation, especially since pre-paying for a reservation doesn't actually reserve a parking space.

I traveled from Massachusetts. Very good service. The upper level was full so he pointed me to the lower level where there was tons of parking. I got to park my car myself We stood for over 12 hours and the price wasn't bad at all. I'm not gonna say how much cause I think there was a discount or something that day. For theft wise I have brand new pioneer radio that I got for Christmas. When I got back the cars around my car were gone and my radio was there as well as no scratches. Walk out of this garage and you see time square down the street. Will definitely park here again my next visit.

  • Leo Thottumari

I've recently been parking here daily for the past couple of months. I choose this location since it's one of the few self park garages around. Since I come early I get the early bird price of $25. However, most importantly the staff have been very helpful in two instances. First, I unfortunately had my wallet stolen while out and I was able to pay for a lost ticket with my GooglePay and give a pic of my id. Secondly, my car battery died and was able to use the garage's jump starting battery. Overall, the staff was great especially Maria who was incredibly sweet and helpful!

  • Ryan Cook

Rates were OK compared to others. But watch out for those pull in only spots. They're not easy to see that you can't back in if you have a hatch or van. I was going slow and checking my mirrors and camera and still didn't realize it until its was too late and my window busted out. After I got out I was able to see the 3 foot concrete over hang that you had to pull under to park. They really need to paint the edging yellow and invest in some better lighting in this garage. I know it was my fault, but they could do better to prevent this from happening.

  • Molly Williams

Parked here for the first time yesterday. We were in by 8:00am and stayed until 6. Was $25 - the early bird rate. Couldn’t be happier with the convenience and customer service. I picked this garage because I wanted to self park. Pulled in, parked and was out on the street in 5 minutes. The attendant on the way out was so friendly. As for location - for us it was perfect. We had to walk a little further, but we didn’t care. It was an easy destination since we were driving in from West Side Highway. We hiked it all over midtown. 5/5 from us!

  • Ana S

Used the SpotHero app to make my reservation. You still need to grab a ticket when you pull in (it’s emphasized on the app) and when you leave you scan your receipt from the app. Decent self parking, came with a Tesla but didn’t get to try out EV charging station (didn’t see it either upon entry but I might’ve missed it). Like others have mentioned, ceiling is low and the space itself feels tight so I can see how you’d probably have trouble with a truck/SUV. Something of which to be mindful. Overall not bad and I’d come back again.

  • doug yoel

Booked my spot on BestParking/Park Whiz. Lot was completeky full. Asked attendent for refund, and instead he had me park in an exposed area. My car got badly damaged, passanger door smashed in. The lot is claiming no replsponsibility. I am left with $2k in damage, I am being told that my car will need a new door to pass inspection. I am pursuing all legal and consumer protection remedies, prepared to sue if necessary. Your car is safer elsewhere. Never had such a bad experience in 30 + years of parking in NYC.

  • John Ludewig

If you use an app to make a reservation and pay ahead, there are two ways to process entry. 1) Take a ticket or 2) place your phone into the slot with the payment code facing up until it is read and the gate opens. On the way out.. place your phone in the slot and do the same thing. If you accidentally take the ticket to get in, don't worry. When you return.. just place the ticket into the reader then your phone with the payment icon to be scanned and the gate will open.

  • Amber Fitzgerald

The man at the front desk was so kind and helpful ( evening of 12/10) when I asked him for assistance. Easiest and most efficient parking for someone who wants to just get in the city and park right away to avoid the madness of driving in the city. Great for people seeing a Broadway show, Times Square, Rockefeller center, all easily walkable from the parking spot. And when you leave, the Lincoln tunnel is two easy turns away from the garage exit. Thank you for a positive experience

  • Kevin Rabanal

I prepaid for parking beforehand and was able to scan my QR code to get in without any problem. But while trying to get out, my code would not allow me to leave. I tried to tell the person working there that I had prepaid for parking, but he wouldn't listen to me; insited that I pay again. He then threatened me by recording my license plate and car. I told the man that I wouldn't pay again after prepayment. Safe to say, I will never drive let alone park in New York City EVER AGAIN.

  • Erin Magner

I don't recommend this for anyone with children, a dog, or just tourists. The ceilings are very low, it's dark, and they don't allow you to use the fire exits. Valet parking at any other location is cheaper or the same price and it's safer for your and your family as well as easier to work with the payment and reservation system. Do not make a reservation for this garage it's a hassle with using it to pay; just drive in and pay when you leave to avoid a lot of aggravation.

  • Nora Staebler

DO NOT PARK HERE!! The clock is set to add minutes to your ticket. I pulled in today, couldn't find a parking space and when I went to pull out it logged me in for 6 minutes even though I know it was less than five. (My daughter timed it based on the music she was streaming from her phone.) Because of that the management wouldn't allow me to pull out without paying $10! For not even parking!! BEWARE. You'll end up paying for more than you should.

  • Mike Jiran

Park and lock is music to my ears, which is why this is my #1 choice if I need to resort to pay parking in Midtown. Slightly cheaper and more convenient than the nearest alternative (inside PABT). I'll never understand how people can think "valet" parking is a feature – if you have to wait 15 minutes for your car, why even use it? The whole point is supposed to be convenience, and when you park your own car here, convenience is what you get.

  • Toya R

My family and I was visiting New York and decided to park at this parking garage because it was convienent. As we were paying to leave the garage my husband asked if they offered military discounts, as a veteran he always asks because most places do. Acosta Celso yelled at my husband and was angry that he asked. He had a very bad attitude with us. This is a great parking garage but Acosta Celso is not a good parking attendant.

  • Katsura

DO NOT RESERVE A TICKET HERE. The machine is broken you cannot scan your bar code. The morning shift person will tell you to just take a ticket, but if you leave after his shift the next person will tell you to pay a second time. He does not want to do his job and refuses to solve any problems, just stands there and tell the customer to figure it out. He is extremely rude, and unprofessional I would never park here again.

  • Hannah Perry

It took me hours of research to find a place that I left was safe enough to leave my car at for 2 nights unattended. This is one of the only places where you self park which is SO important to me because I watched multiple cars come out of other garages with dents from their “high quality valet” the man at the desk was so kind and their prices are VERY reasonable. Definitely would recommend parking your car here

  • Amy Thomas

The employees of the garage were incredibly kind and helpful. Unfortunately, upon backing into a parking spot, I hit an overhang and smashed my rear window (beware of the overhangs!). The employees helped us clean up the glass from inside & outside the SUV and wrapped the back of the car. They even allowed us to park next to the office so they could keep watch over the vehicle. Kudos to the employees!

  • Charles L

The male parking attendant, Robert, didnt' accept the Spot Hero parking pass which I printed out. Kept wanting to see a email from Spothero when all the information is on the parking pass. In the end I had to pay him and then it looks like he added a 18.375% tip for a self park garage that smells like urine. Scammers. Avoid. Too far of a walk from Times Square, there are closer garages.

  • Wendy Sparks

I paid in advance for oversized parking. I arrive and the useless parking attendant did not have any place for me to park. I emailed the company and their response from Hector Galvan was a bunch of nonsense... "If we deem unsafe to park a large vehicle at a location like this we wouldn’t park it." The bottom line is, the parking attendant sold my space and this company could care less!

  • Jenn De Leo

The absolute worst experience. Made a reservation and was told that there was no spots. Backed up into the middle of the street police had to clear the intersection. We had to drive around the city for over an hour to find another parking spot and missed our reservations at the convention we were attending. Waste of my time and money. Will NEVER park here

  • Luis Jimenéz

I recently went there for a full day parking space, before parking there I saw previous comments about things getting lost and car getting scratches, but I did experience any of that. I got there before 9am so I only payed 20 bucks for a full day which is not bad at all. If I need to park again around that area I will definitely consider this place again.

  • jacob chelton

These guy's helped me out a lot. They were patient and worked with me to get the best price possible. The location was great. They were fast, friendly, and very nice to me and my family. The parking garage is private and the guys park and retrieve your vehicle for you. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting or in need of parking in NYC.

  • Starlene Soler

Do not park here your car will get damaged they have cement blocks that stick out into each parking spot makes the spot too small and narrow and too dark to see anything. The guy that works at the front also sounded like he had too much to drink on his lunch break or something can’t understand a word of his babbling.

  • Ray L

Great large self-parking. No in-out. Prices are very good using parking app (prepaid). No problem coming out, you just have to scan your QR code coming out and don't have to see the rep. Reps seems friendly. With this self parking you can at least put stuff in your car if you need to.

  • John Warner

Tight parking spaces. I expected to pay a little more than $30 for a 9 hour stay based on pre-pricing from their website, but I paid $46 on site location. The lot has excessive pricing; only good thing is the convenient location being between times square and parks along the piers.

  • Louis Anderson

A good self park, parking lot. Easy access from exit of Lincoln tunnel. I like the fact that it is self park. Makes getting in and out much simpler. Two and a half blocks form Times Square. Signature Theater, Playwrights Horizon and Theater Row all about a block away.

  • Shawn Parent

Was 7 minutes late on a Sunday, Acosta charged us for a full 2nd day, his supervisor informed us there was nothing we could do. My family and I had a great experience in New York, and we met some great and friendly people, we will not he using this facility ever again

  • RanTan Pushkin

Place is clean and it's a small neighborhood shop. The staff is very nice and friendly. They do have a big selection of baked goods for all food allergies and types of dietary needs. The problem for me is that they are pricey and I found there baked goods not so good

  • Shengyun Fang

We were told that we can in and out ultimately within 24 hrs, and that’s why we were choosing this parking slot. But they told us to pay every time when we get out. We will never never choose this parking slot again, feels like they are cheating all customers.

  • Ellen Dunkel

I've been parking here for decades. Easy access from the Lincoln Tunnel but far less sketchy than Port Authority. It used to be less expensive compared to other garages. Not anymore. But most garages are valet and this is self parking, which I like.

  • Brian Simmons

Parked The Max there for 9 hours while I plundered around the City. Bill was 62 dollars. Bought a deal online, paid 25 dollars. Just a maze trying to drive out but the best garage in the area of West 42nd street to park. Get that online deal

  • j.jenitina j.jenitina

We reserved through MPG website 3 or 4 month before our trip to NY. We had no problem to get in and no problem to get out of the garage. We have a large, tall big car, brand new( Cadillac Escalade Suv 2023). First floor is for small cars

  • Shawn Squire

Great prices, great location, and self parking. Lots of available spaces when we got here on a weekday afternoon. If you want to self park in NYC and will be in the area or jumping on the subway for your stay, I would recommend this spot.

  • MP EP

Parking deck itself is well located and fine to park. BUT if you pre-pay on the MPG website and use the QR code they email, it will not work to get in/out because their machines will say it's invalid. You HAVE TO USE the QR code you get

  • Petkan Buzin

Rude, incompetent and lazy staff. Maria prefers to sit idly in her office chatting away with co-workers than actually doing her job. Handled the transition to cardless gates awfully for monthly clients - poor communication and execution.

  • Amy Arensberg

Super expensive but I like that you can self park. It was $50 just for the time it took to have a very quick dinner. I guess it's that particular area, but other areas in Manhattan would have only been $35-40 for that amount of time.

  • Dj Bonzz “Bones”

We were staying at Pods across on 42nd st. This place was perfect we paid 50.00 a night for 2 days. We got a code on line from MPG scanned the QR code from my phone the gate opened it was that easy the same with exiting Thanks MPG

  • Ivan “The Transylvanian” Gelb

Great location at 50th and Broadway, and better price that garages around them. Only thing to be aware that if you hit them when one of the two theatres in the building let out, then you may have to wait long time for your car.

  • Taby “Paw-some Fun & Adventures” Perez

Parking your vehicle comes at a price. Not only in dollars but damages to your vehicle. Squeezing vehicles into tight spaces and the person getting in and out of different vehicles, putting dents in the sides of your car.

  • Tim “Tim” W

This parking garage makes parking in Manhattan easy and quick. The best part is the self-parking, one of the only few remaining in the city. Definitely prepay for parking if you can, it’ll save you a lot in the long run.

  • Kelly M

When you swipe your credit card at the new automated machines check your bank account you may find nothing triple charged you and you will catch hell getting your money back pay cash with a receipt till I get that fixed

  • Gene P

Rates are not clear and attendant would not accept coupon unless it was printed. I felt like I was overcharged ($46) for parking 3 hours and 46 minutes. Next time I will use a different more honest parking facility.

  • Louis Pop

Best self park garage in Manhattan. Decent prices for parking in the city in a garage. Very friendly and helpful staff as well. Only down side is they dont have more locations like this throughout the city.

  • David Proctor

Soon as you come out of the Lincoln Tunnel, hang a left, then look straight ahead. You dead end right into the entrance. Grab a tkt. Park. And walk a few blocks to your favorite Broadway show. Convenient.

  • Vincent Gambino

1630-Best self parking garage in the city. Had a problem with exiting the garage with the machine not recognizing my app reservation. The attendant was courteous and more than willing to help. Thank you.

  • Garrick Naranjo

Booth Attendant was extremely rude and unprofessional. Would not park here again based on how awful I was treated. Guy basically yelled at me when I gave him my ticket and coupon for no reason.

  • Sudhir Panier

Affordable at a great location, easy to get to, and with ample parking space. I recommend booking online in advance. It's cheaper and a breeze to scan in and out with the QR code they send you

  • Edward Whitby

Somehow we missed the posters telling us it was going to cost $68 for a four-hour parking job. The service was fine and the staff was friendly, but the price is outrageous for out-of-towners.

  • Wade Anderson

The best parking near Times Square. Park your car, keep your key; easy to navigate ramp and somewhat wide parking places. Short walk to the theater district and many other locations.

  • Brent Williams

Lets you park yourself and does not charge extra for full size SUV's. Not terribly close to key parts if midtown but easy to get out of town on Westside Highway or Lincoln Tunnel.

  • Jill Knapp

Love this garage. Self-park, it's clean and comfy, and worth every penny. Super-easy access from the Lincoln Tunnel. Thank the baby jesus for their single-serve hidden bathroom.

  • Soo Jung

Plenty of indoor parking spaces and prices are more reasonable than other garages, if you dont mind a walking a few more blocks to Broadway or other theaters near Times Square.

  • Brianna Sanchez

Kept my car here for 24hrs and the price was only 50!!! Other places charged over $70 and it was self parking. I trusted my car was safe which is always an amazing feeling ☺️

  • Raghavan Srinivasa

I would always suggest this be place. Self park and helpful for longer cars. Rate wise it’s pretty much same across. It’s closer to subway so easy transit everywhere.

  • Joshua Bernstein

Excellent midtown parking location. One of the few self parks in the area. Facility is clean and well lighted. Staff are always pleasant and helpful when needed.

  • Krazy Abizle

You can park your car yourself. Prices are reasonable. You can walk to Times Square or any where around the area. My #1 Parking Garage when at Manhattan.

  • Joseph Weiss

If you park your car here take pictures before entering the garage and inspect your car carefully when picking it up! Filing a claim is a nightmare here

  • kevin kruk

BEWARE !! parked sunday for four hours and had my newer truck bed cover stolen. 850.00 gone ! management horrible !! police called BEWARE!!!!!!!

  • Eric B

Love to park my car my self walking distance from time square. Safe place right of the lincoln tunnel got my ticket on line worked perfectly.

  • Augusto Daneri

Good People serving and Working Hard here, they know how to Drive your Car at The Time that you need their services. Come and Enjoy!!!!!

  • Marty Borruso

My favorite parking lot in the city, where I can easily get in from the lincoln tunnel and to get back it is easy to get to the tunnel

  • Poppop Hunter

Close to Lincoln tunnel but didn't seem to be enough security for a place with that many people. Seems like park at your own risk.

  • Hassan Nicola

Not bad parking spot in term of affordability in that area. Self parking, rates doesn’t include the giant tax they slap on.

  • Random Someone

Stayed across the street for a few days. Was expensive but it cost me less than I was expecting. I would park there again.

  • James Stewart Jr

This is my spot when hitting NYC for The Tree, Times Square type day. Right by 9th Ave, easy in and out from the tunnel.

  • Tariq Khan

Like to park at this place for Times Square and Circleline. Since it's self park, you can leave stuff in the car safely

  • LJ

easy to find location, but parking availability was a bit tough - had to make several rounds before I found parking

  • Sam Keane

Great location right out of the tunnel, good prices. Never had an issue aside from it filling up occasionally.

  • Alex Lehman

Self parking which I liked. Easy to access and great location. Walked to times Square and the theater district

  • Jose Soto

Parking is fine and prices are doable, service could be better and could be kept more professional

  • JJ S

Great self parking facility, no extra charge for SUV. Can usually find a coupon on their website.

  • Adam Heller

Cheapest parking I've seen. Dont bring a big truck though. Low ceilings and tight parking spots

  • Zephyr Liu

Nice self parking facility. You could charge your EV car here with ChargePoint. But expensive.

  • Jim Peake

Good self parking garage that doesn't charge me extra for my Tacoma......most NYC garages do.

  • Eric L

I have to say, for a parking garage. I actually like. Just drive in, get a slip and that it.
