If you truly care about yourself, family, or a loved one I would suggest highly that this be the last office to go to. I promise you that you will never witness a more uneducated, unprofessional, and just the worst customer service available to you here in Las Vegas. I can only assume the front office employees are related somehow because no other employees would be allowed to be so incompetent. There are many, many reviews to back this up on this office on this website. The only way you can get anything accomplished here is by speaking to the Dr. himself which is almost impossible to do. There has been a mistake on every piece of paperwork sent from this office and when you call them to clarify they don't answer the phone or it goes to voicemail which will never be returned. You will be hung up on, lied to and told you must meet with Dr. which is in no shorter than two weeks no matter what the medical condition is. I have one last appointment with him and then I'm done. The worst part is he's a fantastic doctor. He's the best I have seen here in Vegas. How is he not seeing these reviews here and elsewhere all over the internet. His front house employees have got to go. They are the worst. Please consider listening to all the reviews and getting a new team of front of the house employees and stop letting these people represent your business.

The doctor is good. The issue is the waiting time. I appreciate being received without an appointment, but then again it's a doctor's office and I didn't plan on getting sick, so the receptionists should stop acting like this doesn't happen dailyand don't look at me like I am commiting a sin, how dare I come here without an appointment? . I get that I have to wait longer than people who have appointments, but the thing is I have come in with an appointment and still spent 5 HOURS here, so the difference isn't great. I am obviously sick with a cough and congestion that causes huge coughing fits and am having trouble breathing because I have asthma, but I don't have an appointment, should have made one before getting sick though. And yes, he's my primary physician, but am seriously considering a new one, which is sad because he is a good doctor, but some of the staff...

I absolutely love Dr.Machuca, he's caring, professional and always gives you time to ask questions and he takes time to explain things, he spends as much time with each person as is needed so yes the wait is long but be assured when it's your turn he will be just as thorough with you ❣️ He is very busy, he runs Research Clinics also, they're a few buildings down from his office. He's married and his wife is also a Dr. They are very busy working for the community's benefit. I hate the very long wait, even with an appointment. Minimum 1 and a half hours but have been there for 4 and a half 5 hours before. I have seen Dr. Machuca for several years, shortly after he opened this office and I will not stop seeing him because the wait is long, he gives me good quality care. That's worth more then a quick visit to an uncaring Dr. In my book❣️

Had an MRI with Desert Radiologists on July 28th, they faxed the results to Machuca on July 29th. It's August 12 and they've had they results for 2 weeks. No call, no nothing to let me know my results were in, I had to call them after I called DR and found out about my results. I've been walking around in pain wondering what's going on. When I asked why, the receptionist responded rudely "we are short staffed" no apology just rude brushing it off as not our fault. On top of this, they never call you back, you could call and call and call, they never check messages to call you back. This office doesn't care about you, I would only suggest sending peopleyou hate here. With all that said, Dr. Machuca is very nice. It's the support staff that need to represent him better!!!

I been here for nearly 2 hours. The front deck didn't meet me with anything welcoming. She looked at me like she didn't know why people come up to her window. I asked if she could tell me or even find out when they would call me and she said " when ever the doctor calls you"... As you can see from the photo. Its 3:30 PM, bear in mind my appointment was at 2:15pm... what a crazy house. Farming and cramming their parents into one day is ridicules. This is a basic case of over booking, slow and under-productively back office. I hope the quality of care is better then the waiting room. P.S funny how they put a vending machine in the waiting room because they know your going to wait and get hungry. Making money on the needy..genius or just rude?? ‍♂️

The wait period sucked. But I can understand why. Dr. Machuca has a large amount of patients he sees and for good reason. Once I was in an exam room and I did see Dr. Machuca I was very impressed. He is very warm and welcoming and took a keen interest in my health concerns and took them all as seriously as I did and I feel he really did all he could to help me. I feel like he is the kind of doctor anyone would want addressing their health needs and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to be treated with respect and I felt very satisfied after my visit with him. Great Doctor to have as my primary physician.

I went in for a regular check up at the Jones office. I didn't have to wait long for a doctor visit. Only 30 mins after my appointment. My experience was good. The staff was professional and the doctor and her assistant were very nice. The only thing I would say is the girl at the front desk should try a bit more to be friendlier. She was very dry and standoff-ish. Everyone else greeted me with a smile but her. You would think the first person, the receptionist, should be in every office setting, the friendliest. I give 5 stars because the staff that actually treated me was amazing!

For starters the wait time here is absolutely ridiculous. An average wait time for a physicians office should be 18-20 minutes not 3 hours. If you’re thinking about making an appointment plan ahead and clear up to 4 hours you’re going to need it. Next, the front desk has some of the worst attitudes, if I’m going to be waiting 3+ I should be treated with respect. My mother has been coming here for the past 2 years and it’s always the same treatment. I’m not sure if they get the memo but they need to step it up. Absolutely dissatisfied then and still dissatisfied now.

3 stars because although Dr. Machuca is a great Doctor, there is no reason why anyone should wait over 2 hours especially if you made an appointment. This has to stop we are not back 20 years ago. If I made an appointment the most I should wait is 30 min not 2 hours. If you have walk ins that a different story. That like going to the DMV with an appointment and still wait 4 hours like everyone else so why even make an appointment. You guys have to be better seriously. Other than that Dr. Machuca is a fantastic doctor who really cares for you.

What can I say the Dr. Is very good, listens to you and calls back. The problem is his staff who never answer the phone and when you go there they get mad and give you an attitude like the patient is asking for free stuff. The worse is they gave my mom a prescription with double doses that she usually takes the pharmacy wouldn't take it. At least some one the pharmacy in this case paid attention to details. If you can just avoid this facility. The Dr. Should double check on his employees who do whatever they want without supervision.

Best doctor ever... I love the back office staff, and the front deck who answers the phone. But the staff that control in coming fax is very slow. But I love my doctor... don’t to many doctors understand thyroid problems. But he understands and he works with me really great. The back office works great together and they understand when you have problems or pain issues. This is a doctor I think everyone should go to, but don’t them I would have a longer wait . Dr. Machuca keep up the great work. I love you guys!

This place is an absolute joke. This is the third and last time I'm coming here. I always arrive an hour before my appointment, yet I wait almost 4 hours after my appointment time to get checked out! And once I get called in to go into a waiting room, I wait another 50-72 minutes to see the doctor! Even thought the doctor is nice and takes his time, the staff (especially at the front desk) were absolutely rude, inexperienced, unorganized and fooling around in the back. Wish this place would get their act together.

I went in as a walk in today ( & first time here ) , the wait was long but I didn’t have an appointment so I understand . I really like this doctor , I honestly think he’s the best doctor I ever seen before ! He will now be my primary care doctor for now on !! (: And he also doesn’t charge to fill out paperwork for work ! That long wait was totally worth it !! The ladies in the front were very helpful too , thank you doctor Machuca . You are the best !

I work for the insurance company that pays this facility and the receptionist is just down right rude. I called to request help for one of Dr. Machucas patients and the receptionist refused to give me her name and hung up the phone on me. I will make sure that I discuss this with my supervisors to ensure that patients and other healthcare professionals are aware of the horrible bedside manners that the receptionist has.

Doctor is very friendly but sadly i can't said the same about the staff, make an appointment at 9 am you have to wait nearly an hour and half if I'm lucky, them have to wait another 20 to 30 minutes to be seen by the doctor, I don't understand what's the point of making an appointment if I'm gonna bee seen 3 hours later small waiting room for the amount of people and appointment they book. Very poor service.

Best doctor I’ve had. Extremely knowledgeable as a primary physician and impressed me with his varied medical knowledge that trumped that of specialists. Dr. Machuca listened to me and erased past experiences with other doctors and medical systems who forget the individual and the humanity. The other staff and personnel are excellent and efficiently flexible. The lengthy drive is worth it. Thank you!

Dr Machuca is a great doctor, but the fact that I made an appointment at 10 and still hadn't been seen at 11:30 almost 12 is actually very frustrating. Sitting in an small room with a bunch of sick people for over an hour and a half to not even be seen because the wait is so long. This clinic shouldn't even take appointments because it doesn't even matter.

He has been my primary doctor for more than five years and for good reason. He listens to all my concerns and treats me with respect and gives me the best follow up care!! Even when I want out of state he accommodated me and reached out to the pharmacy out of state so I could receive my prescription! I’m forever thankful for him as well as his staff!!!

Horrible practice! I got X-rays and blood work weeks ago! Had to go pick up my blood work and try to figure out what’s going on. I call and call and leave message after message! No call back. So unprofessional. This is my health and should of been at least called back and why they wouldn’t reach out for follow up of results is beyond me

I went to this medical clinic with high recommendation and what I got was a rude receptionist that didn't want to help me. But yet they are the ones that call me saying they have the results to my ultrasound and needed to see me. We as patients deserve to be treated with dignity. The best Dr. There but office staff is really bad.

Best doctor I’ve known since living in Vegas! He’s awesome and is always all ears for his patients! Proactive, fast, courteous, and really does take care of his patients! I’d recommend him and his wife as well. They both have an office, they are both amazing people! I’d trust them with my health!

He's the Best PCP I ever had. He listens to my concerns and is quick to order all the referrals I need. He gets to the bottom of my health issues alot quicker than any other Doctor I ever had. His compassion for his patients is truly heartwarming. Thank you Dr. Machuca for all you do for me.
