I came into this Macy’s yesterday with my mom to buy her a wedding dress. After trying on a few dresses we decided to locate the register to check out her two favorite ones. When we arrived we were being assisted by a young lady…please forgive me if I’m terrible with names but this was on the second floor of the woman’s dress section. I believe the time on my receipt said 6:18pm. she was a beautiful young lady and looked of Mexican descent. She was nice and seemed like she wanted to help . The problem was the second dress not having a price tag. but ,it’s not uncommon for the cashier to type it in manually to which she seemed to be doing ….but ,she got a little nervous and asked the young lady standing at a register located behind her for help . The woman who came to assist her was a young Haitian- American lady with braids. I thought she came to assist us to but boy was I wrong! She automatically got dismissive and said “ you can’t buy this dress , it’s not in the system! I responded to her saying “ I know you have a line but …my mom really wants this dress so is it possible for you to call a manager while we step to the side please? She said “ I just saw one pass by ..go look over there “ While she was pointing me away from her I realized She had a walkie in her hand and immediately asked her to page a manager again..for the 2nd time .. but she continued to ignore my request and said “ the manager can’t help you either! I don’t like dealing with rude and useless cashiers so I walked over to a gentlemen I saw working in another section and explained to him that I had an issue that required a manager’s attention. He seemed engaged and ready to help us check out ..that is until the young lady with the braids came walking up to him and started telling him not to help us and not to call a manager either. She stood with him to assure that I would not approach him again and I stayed away from her because I didn’t want the tension to escalate. Do you know I watched her tell this young man that me and my mom was “annoying and “weird”! I could only imagine she didn’t want the manager called at all at that point. I was mortified…once again I kept my composure and walked up to her and said” since you’re not busy can you call your manager now ? Almost immediately not 1 but 2 angels named Chris and another beautiful African American came to my rescue ❤️ When the managers arrived she changed her tune. She wasn’t checking us out initially but she was the one giving us dirty looks and plenty of disrespect. The beautiful thing is Chris gave us 20 percent off for noticeable damage to the dress and the woman approved us at the register. The managers that helped my yesterday deserves a raise ! I wanted to finish this by informing you that when the rude young lady with the braids was checking us out she still had an aggressive attitude after the manager walked away and she asked my mom for her birthday and phone number and other sensitive information saying it was for the purchase and hopes she is not targeted in the future.

She kept quiet and ignored me. Didn’t reply to me and looking at me as if I said something wrong to her. The way she was looking at me was like she is going to eat me alive. I said to her you can’t behave like that I have said nothing wrong to you and I am your customer. Then she goes like I can behave however I want. I don’t know that Macy’s paying their employees so they can behave anyway they see fit. This happened a couple of times. They should pay attention to this. We don’t come to you to get insulated by your employees

Went there for a return and I waited on customer service line but a store employee asked people to go to register ( she directed us to) in the women's clothing section of the store probably to make line shorter at customer service counter. So after waiting approximately 10 minutes I was told I would have to go back to customer service line. Ridiculous employees you have at Macy's. I asked the woman who was helping me if I can go right to register there since I just waited online already & lost my previous spot on customer service line however she said no. Didn't care to help me at all. I will shop at other Macy's with decent staff

I visited the shoe department which took away one of the registers and many chairs. The department is much neater and cleaner, but there is hardly anywhere to sit! While I was there, several people were complaining about this same thing. You better bring you own chair if you plan on shopping in the shoe department! Just like, BYOB, BYOC! (chair) Otherwise, the staff was pleasant and helpful. The stock was pretty good, not great. This is the Kings Plaza location. I also visited the fragrance, Marc Jacobs, and makeup counter 'It'. The staff was helpful and pleasant at both counters.

Loved the huge selection of different lengths for winter coats, the different colors available & the great sales they had! Actually, we went to Burlington before coming here and was surprised that the "coat factory " didn't have a lot to choose from, and there were no long down coats! So it was a relief to go to Macy's and see all the racks full of all kinds of coats and find unique colors and styles that were nice and long and perfect for winter. The 50 & 60 % off sales were the cherry on top!

Dominique who works in coats is the best. I came near closing time looking for a specific coat to exchange because the one I bought online was two small. She promised to look everywhere if I could come again. She kept her word. We could not find what I needed but she went above and beyond. She refunded me and ordered the right coat for me. She fixed my experience with Macy's when I was about to give up on Macy's. Macy's you have to recognize this young lady. Give her a raise.

Selection is wide. Sizes vary of course since some sizes might be more popular than others. The only problem I have with most macys is the customer service. I would say the majority of the workers(though not all) seem to just loathe their position to the point where they pass that resentment to the customer in the form of passive aggression. Just now now, one left the check out area without saying anything for about 20 minutes. Line quickly grew.

Thank you Chelsea at Jo Malone perfume station in Macys for helping me find this beautiful scent. I told her a few of my preferred scents and she shared a few samples until we found the perfect one for me. She was knowledgeable about the product and made the entire process easy. I love my new scent, and will be coming back soon. If you ever find yourself at Jo Malone at this Macys, ask for CHELSEA, shes the BEST!

Macy's should lower the heat in the stores and supply shopping bags or small rolling carts for their customers. It's impossible to enjoy a shopping experience when sweating and carrying a pile of potential purchases on your arms, and it's worse in the winter with a coat! Great sales, though! Messy store at Kings Plaza! I know it's hard to keep up with those Tasmanian devil customers wrecking every display!

I went to buy a dress shirt on September 3rd 2023. The clothes were dirty, with stains on them and some had stick on them. It was a mess. I was there for over an hour, in that one section, not once did anyone working there come by and ask if I needed help finding anything. Or come to clean up. Clothes were all out of place and floor. Barely had a tie selection. Disappointing.

I went shopping for lingerie, and I found enough of a variety of reasonably priced merchandise. I like the atmosphere it's very busy very exciting. There's even a section in the lobby for kids to ride toys that are electronically run and they enjoy it very much.

Nice choices for men's clothing. Registers were scarce. Staff working the register were friendly but did not have the proper magnet devices to remove tags and had to leave the register to remove the devices, slowing down the lines. Get them the proper tools!
