I love shopping at this macys but I had a horrible experience last week! I was in the finish line section I was looking at a pair of shoes couldn’t find my size and eventually I found them with no tag . I saw the same pair but with a tag and proceeded to get help at the finish line counter a short hispanic young lady attended me after flagging her down. I asked her for the price and she said they are $50 and not on sale . She didn’t even try scanning the item. So I asked her what was the difference between the shoes since they where literally the same but one was 25% off and the other had no tag. . She said idk not the same barcode and walked away. She was really rude and not nice at all basically just wanted me to pay and leave without asking any questions. She seems so bothered when anyone asked for help. I further went to the help desk to see if they could help me or maybe better explain things. I was in line and the young lady comes up again to me and says I can check you out over here because they don’t check people out here . Even though there was like 5 people that paid in front of me . I kindly declined because I had other questions due to just purchasing over $500 worth. She proceeded to go to the back and another cashier comes up to the older man with glasses and whispers in his ear something and he comes around the counter and proceeds to take me out of the line and calls me out in front of everyone. I was so embarrassed . Another young lady helps me again in the finish line section and actually scans the items and looks for the tags and realizes that they actually are in sale! Basically my point is that the hispanic young lady/ teen was super rude! She looked like she didn’t want to be working customer service or anything z she had the worst attitude and gave very short answers when asked something, constantly rolled her eyes . She was short maybe 4’11 shoulder length hair . I wish I would have gotten her name ! I HATE BEING A KAREN BUT SHE MADE ME NOT WANT TO GI BACK TO MACYS !!

This store used to be amazing. It had great options, friendly customer service, and everything was organized. Now, it has clearly gone downhill. Nearly every rack is a mess, the fitting rooms are cluttered with items, making it difficult to set your clothes or personal items anywhere, there’s hardly anyone available to help you, let alone greet you, and there’s usually only one checkout line available in the entire first floor (this was true for Christmas as well, which is the worst possible time to only have one checkout line). I remember when the people working in each department greeted you the second you were in their section and made sure to help you with whatever you needed as best they could. It was nearly impossible to walk through the beauty section without someone attempting to give you a sample, tell you about a product, or even just say “hello.” I am a frequent shopper at the Macy’s at Northpark and for the last couple of years, the few times anyone working has acknowledged me was when I approached them directly. I understand that with the pandemic, they are likely short-staffed, however, it’s difficult to accept that as a reason for the lack of “Macy’s” friendliness when you see the employees having conversations with each other, standing there without saying anything, or (although rare) on their phone. I love Macy’s and I visit Northpark often, but I don’t frequent this location as much as I used to, simply because the environment is disorganized and unwelcoming.

Very disappointed in this macys. My dad loves buying colognes so he purchased one as usual, gave the cashier in the perfume dept $200 cash. The cashier asked if he had a macys card he said yes but didn’t want to get charged on it this time he wanted to pay with cash. She still asked him to swipe it to see if he had any rewards so he did. So he paid with the cash got the receipt and went home. A month later he gets his statement and he noticed he got charged for the cologne with his macys card. He went in person to speak to HR. They told him they will investigate and get back to us in about a week. Well almost a month passed and we didn’t hear any thing back. So he went again in person just for them to tell them “there wasn’t a camera” so they couldn’t see “anything” it seems like they could care less and didn’t even look into this. So lesson learned, ALWAYS LOOK AT YOUR RECEIPT RIGHT AWAY.

Most Anything at Northpark is Great and Macy's is no exception. I am happy that Macy's, a storied retailer, is hanging-in. Macy's does this by having an inventory with price points that remain appealing to bargain hunters and brand loyalists alike. The budget limited thrifty shopper to the no limit, "I deserve this" shopper can walk out of Macy's with "a good deal." Take your time to look at those sales racks! I found shorts that were originally $60 and on sale for $25 and a shirt that was listed at $80 and now at $35. You can go to a specialty store and get exactly whet you want, immediately and at a premium price; or you can be pleasantly surprised, spend more time but less money at Macy's to find the same or similar. If I have the time, I am picking Macy's to see what's on the rack and on sale.

While trying on clothes in the fitting rooms, I had left the stall I was in to help my sister out with her clothes, and when I came back someone was inside. I asked them to hand me my clothes at least so I could change in the next stall, but it turned out the employees had emptied the stalls and took my clothes. Me and my sister tried getting them back, but I only got my shirt and sweater back. When we asked about my pants both employees said that they didn’t know where they were, we took half an hour to try and find them but to no luck. I had to buy the dress I was wearing and only got a 30% discount on the 79 dollar dress which is nice, but it didn't help that I was humiliated. I was completely embarrassed and began crying once I left the storeh (I never got my pants back)

Macy's on Black Friday offers an exhilarating shopping experience with fantastic deals and discounts. The store buzzes with energy as eager shoppers explore a wide array of products, from fashion to home goods. The festive atmosphere, coupled with attractive promotions, makes Macy's a go-to destination for Black Friday enthusiasts. However, be prepared for crowds as everyone seeks to snag the best deals during this annual shopping extravaganza. Overall, Macy's on Black Friday is a dynamic hub for savvy shoppers looking for great bargains.

As much as I like Northpark mall, this store is falling apart… Especially the kids section where nothing is organized. Check out the couch in the kids section… and Macy’s sells furniture. It is worth noting that one of the main reasons to go to retail is to be able to try things on… So if the clothes are so disorganized that you can’t find your size… Retail is forcing people to go online to shop. There should be one person whose job is to put clothes in the right place, literally things are so disorganized you can’t locate them.

I was very disappointed in the lack of customer service we experienced in the Finish Line area of men’s shoes. The sales clerk never offered any assistance even though we were the only customers at the time. She played on her phone and only responded when we asked her a direct question. She would walk away immediately after bringing shoes out, not waiting to see if they fit. She eventually left the area while we were still looking. No sales skills or customer service skills on display. We went elsewhere to purchase shoes.

The guy at the service desk was so nice to me... I could not believe it. Usually when I go into this bougie mall with my work clothes on I get all of the ugly and dirty looks but this guy actually helped me at the service desk with no issues he didn't give me any looks or said any smart comments he was so sweet I truly appreciate his genuine kindness. I am going to say the packaging of my item was definitely severely damaged but good thing that the perfume still stayed intact you guys should look into that

I enjoy shopping here but the workers that work downstairs at costumer services clearly don’t know how to work. I came to return a couple shirts, and one of the lady’s tell me “Sorry I can’t take it, it’s fraud” I showed her my receipt and everything still no. She then still proceeds to not take my stuff because it smells like cologne? So I can’t try on things to see if they fit me? Ridiculous lol. Something else she said was that the tags were fake?

Lancome counter: I had a wonderful experience. DeAnte, Lancome sales associate gives you exceptional service. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and outstanding in making you feel comfortable and relaxed. I was given valuable information about the products. I absolutely recommend any one to shop at Lancome inside Macy's to ask for DeAnte. Thank you so much for the service provided. You're amazing and I'll definitely continue to shop there.

I had a wonderful experience with this location. My friend suffered a loss and needed to buy a dress for a funeral. I called and asked if we could be paired with a stylist who was aware of the situation so it would be as quick and painless as possible. I spoke to Albert on the phone and he immediately offered his help. He agreed to meet us and pull dresses. He was so helpful. Thank you Albert and Macy’s!

Nice store with great selection. I like their sales and particularly the makeup, skin care and perfume sections. The dressing rooms are okay and I like their selection of fancy dresses for ballgowns and the like. They keep the store pretty well kept and the ladies at the counters are very professional and really courteous. Would come back again.

This is for the obnoxious scent which overpowers and chokes the air on the ground floor. Please stop the ghastly fumigations from the fragrance department. The air is so thick with perfume it coats the inside of your mouth like a film. My asthmatic friend suffered for hours after just walking through the place trying to get into the mall.

I'm almost on the verge of cutting up and canceling my Macy's card with the nasty, rude service I got today. Macy's store makes billions a year and with the money this store makes, they need to hire better help or train the ones that's there with customer service classes. I won't be ordering nor shopping here for a while.

Pick up online my orders at this store at customer service desk on the floor women handbag section. A Latino women served me was just absolutely has poor customer servicing skill. No please, thank you etc and talked to you like she is the owner. It is not first time that I had this bad experience. So unprofessional place.

Lady that works in the rings section on Sunday’s is very unprofessional. Kept asking several times what the price of the ring was in front of my fiancé when we had just walked in for a resize covered by the warranty and all they needed was the phone number and name not any other extra details…..

I was looking for help asked the cashier if she could find someone she pointed me to Bryant if I'm remembering his name correctly. He wasn't helpful at all and also acted as if you didn't want to help me. In so many words it wasn't his department

I came in on Wednesday, May 29th and was pleasantly surprised on how amazing Jan was. She truly deserves to be one of the best employees in this store as I don’t think I’ve ever had such a great interaction. She was very patient and helped

Shopping for wedding present. 2nd floor, a dozen sales people were all around one station at top of escalator; no one on the floor in the china/kitchen area at all. Found item I wanted, but it was filthy and all boxes for it were empty. I

Self serve. There are only a handful of people here that have any concept of customer service. They could honestly install a self checkout at this point and I would prefer it. If you come here just know you will be ignored.

I was very pleased with my purchase. But I was very disappointed to see that the gentleman who was doing the curbside delivery almost gave my package away without any identification or confirmation …
