Tore sections of window tint off with a paint scraper when I took my car to Magic car wash in Richmond. The service I paid for was an express detail with hand wax and polish leather clean and condition and dash and vinyl dressing, and which was $230. After I inspected the car I found there were scratches to the tint on both rear passenger windows on the inside. I took it back to Magic car wash and spoke to somebody there about it. The man I spoke to took photos and said he would ask his colleague who is there on Wednesday morning regarding this but I have not heard back from him yet. I said that it looked too so a scraper had been used on the tint and he told me that they do not use scrapers. However I saw a paint scraper and asked the man what it was for and he said it's for removing stickers. Anyway, it was very disappointing and unprofessional that the man lied to me about this. I emailed Magic Hand Car Wash soon afterwards regarding this issue, there was no response, so I sent another email. A Customer Service Representative responded saying that the Store Manager would like to sort the matter out immediately, to which I accepted. Nothing happened and after several email attempts to contact them over the last two Months there has still been no response. It seems fairly clear that they are avoiding me in relation to this issue, which in my opinion is unacceptable.

I went back to ask for the silver cover, and the customer support was amazing! They offered me a free wash again, and then even gave me a voucher for another free wash. As for the silver ac cover, they are reimbursing me in full for it. Although my first time here wasn’t the greatest, they’ve been able to turn it around 100% and now I’m a happy customer! I was in a rush and car looked clean so left all good , got home and noticed the the Silver cover on the air con disappear and there are new stains on the seat which was no obvious stains on it. Besides, they said only can pay by cash or transfer yesterday. They didn’t give me receipt after I pay cash. No receipt is difficult for me to Argue with them. My first try with magic carwash because good reviews on google. Really disappointed. Will definitely not recommend.

Went for the express 45-mins, they finished well under 45-mins. Which overall I’d prefer to be in and out as fast as possible. But not if it’s at the expense of quality. For $129 I’d have hoped for a touch more attention to detail. There were spray marks on the dash that don’t rub off, and unfortunately for them, it’s right in my line of sight while driving. The heads up display was also covered in spray marks, to the point where is was blurry. Easy fix though I just had to wipe it down when I got home. Probably should’ve had to though to be fair. Tiny bits missed on the drivers side mirror as well as streak marks on the rear view mirror too. Other than the minor details mentioned above the rest of the car looks good. In my opinion just a slight miss match of value for $129. Nice guys though, but I won’t be coming back.

Zero attention to detail. Tried to rush me to pay before I could inspect the car. After the wash, I mentioned to the manager the vacuuming was not done well, the windshield was still streaky and the car was not fully wiped dry outside. He did not respond well and tried to offer excuses about how I had bought cheapest package at $49 and how the watermarks on the outside of the windshield couldn't be removed. Turns out, I managed to remove the watermarks with a tissue. In the end he wouldn't even look at me when I was paying. Business runs on pride but have none in their work. UPDATE: MHCW replied saying to reach out but they never responded after I did.

Impeccable service by the team at Magic Hand car was Richmond. After first arriving and being hesitant as to whether my car would fit the dimensions of the ‘tunnel’, the team leader quickly devised a plan to get the car hand washed beautifully by the hard working and dedicated team. Whilst they were hard at work I had time to send some emails and attend to business over the phone. The whole car now looks better than it did off the showroom floor and it’s a credit to their sheer dedication and attention to detail by the hard working crew. I have take 1year membership the car wash before take membership they give very nice wash my car and good deal for me, but after take membership they change they deal, The schedule that I canceled is also they checked. And find the finish not as good as it should be. If you have wash this carwash your car get a lot of scratch. They always change what they talked about before the membership and make the car wash less satisfied. Just 1time wash is very very good, but my recommendation you must not take membership. I regret my choice a year ago so much.

I've been coming to Magic Richmond for many years now. Mehdi and his team are very friendly and professional. They always do a great job. For instance today I said I didn't have time for a full outside and inside as I had to collect someone at the airport, but Mehdi said don't worry we'll get it done really quickly for you. I joined the wash club with in and out interior, I've enjoyed the convenience of being able to just drive through the carwash on my way home from work. I had my interior done understanding that it would just be a wipe over, vacuum and windows cleaned, it was done so poorly only half the dash was wiped the windscreen wasn't touched and neither were the back seats. very disappointed. I'll definitely be changing my subscription to exterior clean only

For the second time now Magic Wash at Richmond washed the car and I have been less than impressed. On previous occasions they have been good but the last two have left me looking for another car detailer. I purchased a superior clean this time around and they did not clean my seats and console. Whilst they wiped them down, you could still see marks on the seat and dirty spots on the console. Very disappointing after spending $70.

Took our almost new car in for a mini detail - wanted to keep the new feel for as long as possible- they covered the car with a polish that smelled really strong of public toilet hand wash soap, so instead of the nice new car leather smell that I had, now every time I get in the car, I want to vomit. They should have at least have a non-scented choice. Not recommended if you don’t like strong cheap perfume smell.

I paid $119 for the "express detail", which was done in around 30-45 minutes but the job was pretty sloppy. The car was covered in small yellow fibers (their microfiber cloths are shedding?) and the paint still had tree sap which they didn't get off. The spray-on tyre shine wasn't evenly applied, and whatever chemicals they use on the interior (or fake new car smell) didn't smell great.

Exterior and interior wash and carpet steam clean was done well, but some cleaning liquid build-up left around the dash and cup holders. Quoted 1 hour for service but took almost 2 hours. Unfortunately the business threw away the leather cover on my hand brake, which I assume they removed for cleaning but didn't return. They also threw out my air freshener which was disappointing.

I used to take my car once every month but not any more because during my last visit one of the staffs try to move my car and smash it against the metal log which causes damage to my car, they also charge you $300-$400 for deep cleaning, I don't think they know what deep cleaning means. They just shine the outer part, inside not clean very well.

Great service, detailed cleaning. We have a double coat fur dog who loves dirt which makes our car extra difficult to clean, and it’s been a nightmare for us. This car wash place has been great, every time clean the car like new, like we don’t have a dog, great attention to details. Strongly recommend this place if you have a fur baby at home.

Got an interior detail on my car. Cleaned the fabric seats back to new. Was very happy. Accidentally left my golf clubs at the place as I left. Forgot to put them back in the boot. Only realised that I might have left them at the car wash about month later. They held on to them waiting for my call. Excellent service. Would recommend!

I only go to Magic Carwash Richmond to have my car cleaned. I love having a clean car so much that I recently joined the wash club and bought a yearly membership, which is great value! I have two small children, so my car is always filthy, but the guys always do an awesome job. Excellent service and very efficient. Highly recommend!

I don't know where to start... The service, pricing, and honesty from these guys is second to none. My car had horrible swirl marks and I decided to get a cut and polish. The result was amazing, they went to extremes to also polish the plastic trimming and explain the process. Would highly recommend, already organised my mates ute!

Staff were super lovely and the car looks fantastic internally (it's been so long since a clean) - we were just a bit surprised at the greasy film left on the interior which lingered for a few days after the clean. In addition - floor and mats were very wet upon pick up which has created a damp malodour which too has lingered.

Brought my car in for a simple wash. They damaged the roof. 1 month later I am still in a battle with them to pay for their damages. This has been escalated not only to the manager of the site but to the owner of the entire company. Bad company from the top down. Don’t let my pain go to waste, take your beloved car elsewhere

One of the worst place of car detailing I have seen in melbourne. I went for a wash amd leather detail. The whole thingbwas done in 15 minutes!!!! All leather detailing was a spray and wipe. That for 70 dollars!! Wipes amd general cleaning are way better in other places for same price. Would not recommend at all

I took one year membership last year, which went in vain. Don't know how 4-5month lockdown=6 week extension. Moreover, I visited today, the person enrolled me in one year membership is not even ready to explain the situation. Worst customer service, I paid I enquired but the way I am serviced is really bad.

After going to Magic over a few years spasmodically, I joined the annual wash program last year and have had a clean car ever since. If I could give 0 stars I would. Did a terrible job, and have broken 3 window control buttons and the sunroof button on my Mercedes ML and claiming it wasn’t them worst customer service and attitude. Will not being going back and would not recommend to anyone.

I took my new Mazda 3 to wash last weekend and they didn’t dry it properly, there were a lots of water mark all over the car and specially on the windscreen. Also at the end they tried to sell you a membership for $700 lol Never using this place again.

I have a black car and a German Shepherd so the car gets dirty quickly. So being able to simply run it thru the wash once a week keeps the outside shiny. And the monthly full clean for the dog hair. They make it easy and fast.

The actual polishing was quiet good; however the guy that polished the car also ran the machine over the badge on the tailgate and damaged it. No one said anything.
