TO MAKE IT BETTER THE "MAMA" OR LADY OF THIS RESTAURANT IS RUDE AND BITTER. HAD AUDACITY TO GIVE ME AND MY FRIEND DIRTY LOOKS. ALSO SHE SMELLED AND LOOKED TERRIBLE . OVERALL TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE SAW RATS ALL OVER THE RESTAURANT NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN.

Yes, I visited this place 2 years ago and forgot to leave a review. But to this date I still remember the horrible experience. We sat on the tables outside waited to be assisted for at least 30mins. There was a bunch of local sketchy people inside. The owner from what it seems, she came to ask for the order after a long wait, and while we were ordering her and asking questions, she was ignoring us and yelling to someone else across the “street”. Everything we asked her to order, she pretty much refused to make it for us cause either she didn’t have it available at the moment or it was going to take too long. Are you kidding me?! Long story short, we ended up leaving, so as a couple sitting next to us too from the same issue of waiting and lack of interest to serve us. This restaurant looks more like a cover up for something else. Worst experience in this town.

We always keep coming back here for authentic African food. Highly recommended. Definitely worth visiting while in Marseille. They have Egusi which is hard to find in France.

Waited for 40 min for 3 dishes at lunch, only 3 tables, so it’s not a busy day. The meat in the soup is still frozen inside … African restaurant can’t cook the meat right ? I’m not coming back

Depuis le temps que je chercher un resto pour le foufou , très déçu du coup les deux sauce, graine et gambo viande : odeur + goût du poisson . Les deux sauce on le goût du poisson je sais pas comment cela est cuisiner mais va falloir changer votre façon de faire .

Super endroit pour manger ouest africain. Un gout de mon enfance sur je n'avais pas goûté depuis de nombreuses années ! Ambiance au top et possibilité de commander à emporter. On peut également régler en CB ou en espèces. Une adresse qui mérite d'être connue.

2h d attente pour manger de la viande qui sent le poisson ou qui est tellement épicée qu elle en est immangeable du riz qui sent le plastique brûlé il reste la purée d igname pour sauver et l ambiance. En clair, venez boire un verre mais pas manger

Spicy food in nicely sized portions. The service was incredibly attentive, regardless of the language barrier. We had the fried fish with plantains and a meat soup, tasteful and packing quite a peppery punch.

Je viens de commander car je voulais manger du foufou l’odeur de la sauce rouge était vraiment insupportable!!! Je ne recommande pas du tout.

Jollof Rice était vraiment très savoureux, tout comme le poulet. Les plantains auraient probablement pu être un peu plus croustillants, mais globalement 5/5 !
