I'm Yun from Korea. I lost my bike in Manchester but many people did donate for me. I am now in Argentina. I want to talk about donations. First of all, thank you to those who sent me donations. With the help of many people Nick has collected 3535 pounds, and ukmtp has collected 667 pounds. ukmtp sent me a donation (667 pounds). I was assisted by Lee Hindle. And when it was deposited into my account, the money was transferred to Lee Hindle's account. I can not speak English well. When I buy things I need to travel, Lee will buy them. But there was a problem. We used 2372 pounds to buy bikes from donations. And Nick bought camping equipment. The problem is that the remaining money is still on Lee Hindle's bankbook. The total donation is 4202 pounds(3535 + 667). I have been worried for a long time. And I wrote this because I thought I should inform the people who sent me the donation. Thanks again to those who gave me a donation. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, Mayor, I am a Korean who has lost my bike, I can continue my journey with the help of the mayor of Manchester and many friends. Although I lost my bike, it was an honor to be able to experience the UK as a country of gentlemen. Thanks again to the mayor and friends for their help.

I often saw many tourist, of recent chinese visitors taking pictures of Manchester city council and the town centre. Manchester is a great place to visit and live, the central library, post office, KPMG building, University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University, Manchester Police enquiry office, Manchester United Football Club are nearby including hotels. The Manchester councils also host many events and christmas shows, tram and buses are often used to travel within manchester with free internet and at affordable prices.

Just taken part in a grand tour of the Gothic styled Manchester Town Hall. Built by Thomas Waterhouse and decorated externally with the three symbols of God; the trinity of windows reaching up to the sky, Man; the various statues of men and woman and Earth. Floral decorations adorning the walls. On top of the spire is a golden cotton flower in homage to the Cotten products and mills. A must to see are the twelve panels painted by Ford Madox Brown found in the main hall.

After always dismissing Manchester as being a bit of a rough dive, the couple of times I've been fortunate to visit over the last couple of months have really turned me around. Great, modern city with great culture and (dare I say) fashion. The Christmas Markets were out of this world compared to what we have in Newcastle. I wish I didn't have a meal planned that evening because I just wanted to try so much of the food!

Very good customer service (although the queue was long when I called, I had to wait 30 minutes to speak to someone). However, when it's your turn, they tried their best to answer all your questions and actually went above and beyond to help with your issues. So, if the waiting time is reduced, it would be fantastic.

The town hall is stunning inside and out! There is a beautiful cafe inside which is well worth the visit very elegant. During the Christmas period you can find stalls just inside the entrance and a beautiful tree. Fireworks are set off from the roof at new year and the Christmas light switch on that are spectacular

Really beautiful hall steeped in local history and a great place to host an event. We had the company Christmas party here and it was excellent. The food was cooked to perfection and served by great staff with the kind of precision and care you don't often see these days. Even posh Aunt Mabel wont be disappointed!

One of my favourite place in England. It’s really nice and beautiful building. You should check it out. Grab a cup of coffee and just sit on the beach a front of the hall and just relax. Your day will be good. I strongly recommend you this Town hall! Have a lovely day

The interior of the Town Hall is wonderful. Visit the person on the desk by the door, there you can get a visitors pass to go up to the first floor. On this level you can see the magnificent Great Hall, Conference Room, Banqueting Chamber etc. Well worth a visit.

Awful council only there to make money, they have no sympathy. Not from the area however I received a fine alleged bus lane. Didnt even acknowledge my response were much more bothered about the fine to be paid. Ridiculous especially with cost of living.

Visited manchester after reading about its main attractions. The Castlefield urban heritage park sounded nice followed by a walk down the canal. Well the majority of the canal area was filthy, it really is shameful. Although there were some

City Hall is exceptionally impressive with many historic art works, numerous 'mansion like' meeting rooms, statues, marble columns and the list goes on! There is a cafe on the ground floor. Highly recommended if you are in Manchester and

A fantastic place to visit. If you can, sign up for the guided tour that takes you within the rooms and get acquainted with a slice of history! The building is architecturally lovely and beautiful with loads of opportunities (and angles)

Manchester Town Hall is a building full of character with its impressive architecture. I loved the vaulting, stained glass windows and artwork in the interior. I visited with a friend and we were going to have lunch there but decided on

  • Wail Dashash

Very beautiful land mark. Unfortunately the day I went visited it there were a lot of construction and renovation in the area. Lovely people and restaurants in the surroundings. I highly recommend visiting it during the holiday seasons

  • Mike Bentley

Grand old historic building, more ornate than many cathedrals. Top notch cafe with nice linen & china and very good prices. About to undergo a major clean & refit so it should be even more spectacular in a couple of years.

  • Najeeb Khawaja

Great building, the square is fantastic, many shops, cafes, stores, and great places to go for a walk and see Manchester

  • Dongxian Jiang

Too bad that I didn’t have opportunity to visit the interior due to renovation, but the exterior is impressive enough

  • Triin Major

Gorgeous building, would like to see it more on the inside but when I've asked a few times, it hasn't been allowed

  • Carlos Uploads

Currently under major renovation, so nothing to see there at the moment. So don’t waste your time walking to it.

  • Eric

Tourists are not welcomed here and are ripped off with disproportionate fines. Officials threaten tourists.

  • Simone Mattogno

Great building, nice place to get rest with a lot of benches, but unfortunately it will be close by 2024.

  • Dan Leal

Closed for renovations for the next 5 years but the architecture is magnificent and needs to be seen

  • Filipa Sampaio

Beautiful building in a nice square! A huge Christmas market around Christmas time!

  • Budi Ferizqianto
