No stars. The decor is lovely The food and service are terrible. A party of 8 of us went for a birthday meal including two children we arrived just before 7.00pm our order was taken and eventually and out starters arrived just after 8.30 pm. By now the kids where cranky and bored and hungry. The ribs I ordered where like leather. Way over cooked. But the garlic bread was nice to be fair. That was the only good dish all night Our main course was served at 9.35pm And the kids rice was missing The lady said we didn't order it but we all sat and heard the wife ask for it and the girl confirmed it was to as a side. Every meal was poor quality. I got a burger because although the web site says a steak is about £20 when you get the menu it is actually £30 In sort the the place was under staffed and over priced The food was badly done and the manageress was rude and useless. Avoid guys and go somewhere else.

100% recommend the Manhattan Bar And Grill for anyone looking for amazing tasting food aswell as a classy establishment. I travelled to Liverpool for the first time with my mam and ended up trying this out and we couldn’t have a chose a better way to spend the evening. The staff where welcoming, friendly and polite, the owner was down to earth and very approachable. I chose the steak fajitas which were perfectly seasoned and the best I’ve ever had, my mam got the T-Bone steak which was a great size, cooked perfectly and had the most succulent taste. The cocktails are well made and service is immaculate, we will definitely be coming back

Chose this place for my lads 18th meal after having a quick Google for somewhere lively as we were visiting Liverpool for the weekend and not from the area. Had the mushrooms to start and the feta and spinach for main. Starter was OK, main was awful. Burnt rock hard cheese! Everyone else enjoyed their food. But what I felt was lacking food wise the place more than made up for in a great atmosphere. Really buzzing restaurant. Brilliant staff and lovely cocktails. Will visit again but just choose something different from the menu

BEST FILLET STEAK I've ever had! Hands down no where else comes close! Family run always made to feel welcome, literally come here religiously everything on the menu is banging and both food and drinks reasonably priced! Brilliant atmosphere on Friday and Saturday nights aswell! Rare to find a place with such high quality food and drink and owners and staff that actually truly care about the customers!

A lovely atmosphere and very clean. I Highly recommende place for a meal. The staff are welcoming and are very friendly. The food is great and Cooked perfectly to how you want. I would recommend the Chicken Wings or Calamari for starters and for the main I would say try the Fillet Steak or Pizza. The steak was cook perfectly and the chips are good and go down a treat. The price isn't to bad as well. You pay, for what you get here and you will not be disappointed. Don't miss this place. It's located in a good area.

The atmosphere was a bit loud and scattered, however this was in part due to a birthday party being held in one area of the restaurant, and there being a football match on. The service wasn't terrible, but it was a bit vacant, and we weren't informed at any point we had to go to the bar to pay at the end of the meal, so were sat there waiting a while before we decided to go and ask ourselves. The food was decent, albeit nothing special.

Came to the manhattan for dinner and a few drinks when visiting Liverpool. We came from Derby and weren't sure where to go to eat but I'm sooo glad we found this little place. The atmosphere is nice, it's intimate and the music is good too! The guy who served us was lovely and polite and couldn't do enough for us. I had a fillet steak and it was the best steak I've ever eaten! Cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Will definitely keep this place in mind when visiting again!

I came here this evening for a drink and meal with my husband. He got gammon, chips and egg which he said was delicious. I got the lamb shank with mash, and can I just say it was the best one I have ever had, it was beautiful... And the staff that were on were really lovely and nothing was to much trouble... Brilliant experience, we went In for dinner on back holiday weekend. My partner had the mixed fajitas with a side of salt and pepper chips. I had the carbonara with a side of salt and pepper chips. We stopped by here by chance looking for somewhere to drink outside on our way back from the docks. All the staff inside were great, so polite and helpful. We happened to come during Happy Hour so enjoyed two cocktails for a tenner. The atmosphere outside was great with lot of people drinking and having a good time. Would 100% come again!

I visited last week, It was fairly quiet, but soon got busy, made an order after 15 min had my starter. Noticed it seemed under staff to keep everybody happy. I ordered main same time as starter. Day out in Liverpool and we came across the Manhattan bar, we were only going in for a drink but decided to have a look at the menu and order food and so glad we did the food was absolutely gorgeous and with the steak tuesday on offer aswell was a real bonus, if visiting Liverpool make sure you give this place a try

We choose this place because of the reviews. And it's definitely true about what they say about the service. The owner and his waiters are very very friendly and very helpful in every way. Also, the food is quite good if you are looking for a place to eat some steak. I had the club steak and it was delicious.

Not nowing Liverpool we didn't know where to eat. Heading back to our accommodation we passed this small restaurant and glad we went in Warm welcome by Carol. The large serving of fajitas were delicious. Thanks to all the staff.

This little bar & grill was just up the road from where we was staying & it was lovely! We didn't plan ahead for going out for a meal & they managed to accommodate for 13 of us in such short notice. We had a Wowcher and it really was exceptional value. The staff are the best! The service is excellent and the food is fab!! We had the steak, done to perfection, they even gave us peppercorn sauce at no extra charge, would highly recommend and we will definitely be visiting again!!
