Great, as long as you walk your dog before dusk, as not all the paths have street lighting. But thats councills fault, park gets 5 stars!
Playground
Nice quality playground, all fenced and secure.
Dog-friendliness
Large field divided into two, gates at one side, fairly secure unless you really have a dog which wants to escape- other two entrances are permanently open.

The park play area has gone drastically down hill from when I was a child. The Slides are so small it's pointless having one in and same with roundabout. There's this attitude of not letting kids injure themself. That's how they learn. They fall, hurt themself, pick themself up brush themself down and get on. Bones mend.

Nice little park. Great for dog walking. Basketball and tennis courts. Small children's play area and another for older. Difficult for the in-between age. 7 - 10yrs. A few exercise machines. Could do with a better mid age climbing frame and more swings. Overall a pleasant place for all the family.

Nice park which I've brought my daughter to since she was a baby, the playground and apparatus are for younger children, toddlers, but still I bring my girl to have a kick about on the field or ride her bike, scooter etc. around the park every so often.

A lot of money has been spent to make this a good and safe play area for children. Here's hoping that it is left free from vandalism so local children can continue to enjoy the facilities.

  • Jodie Aylward

Manston Park is nice if your walking your dog but I personally wouldn't take my child to the park as alot of teenagers gather around there to smoke weed and its not nice on the children

  • Dave Kennedy

Fantastic park with lots of facilaties ,bowling green ,tennis courts ,football pitches excercise equipment, kids play areas and lots of benches spread through out the park to take a rest

  • Martine Goodwin

Lovely little park with playgrounds for kids, a basket ball area and tennis courts. Lovely flower areas with benches and an outdoor gym. Shame there aren't any facilities like toilets

  • Jason Saddler

Lovely local park to me. Nice little walk round (can do it in 10 mins) play area for the kids. Be carefull at night tho as the kids are out to give abuse and gang wars (apparently)

  • Paul Hitchen

Just round the corner from us but plenty of car parking around football fields and 2 play areas for kids just been refurbished, tennis courts and crown green bowls too

  • Hazel

Lovely little local park with bowling green tennis courts. 2 childrens enclosed parks for older and younger children. Basket ball and football hard surface enclosure.

  • Dave Slinger

All swings and other equipment broken. Pissheads/homeless sat on benches drinking. Lived in Crossgates all my life and has really gone down hill here.

  • Steven Abbott

Small but well looked after park popular with young families [play ground ] dog walkers and walkers including joggers.Nice gardens flowers and plants

  • Andy Nunns

This park was brill when I was a kid and now it's the worst. Not many things for kids to play on, 1 swing left. We left after 20 minutes.

  • Alex McLean

The park is brilliant for kids but some of the equipment is missing and the floor is a bit uneven, just these few things let it down

  • James

Took the grandkids here, they loved the swings, I'll be going back with them next time I'm in the area, with the grandkids obviously

  • Chean Yong

small-medium sized park with paths, a playground. mostly flat terrain and comes alive somewhat during bloom season of spring summer.

  • Fran Coates

Walked past the park, in day light, on a dry day. Was passing to go to the shops. Cant say it was overly busy, due to time of day.

  • Hayley

Nice small park, lots if friendly dog walkers. Small children's playground. Tennis courts abs gym equipment all free if charge.

  • David Gelman

Roundabouts in both children's parks don't work properly. No maintenance done for a long time. Other than that it is pleasant.

  • Liam C

The playground equipment needs a much needed face lift. The flooring needs correct ting as its loose and poses a trip hazard

  • James Smith

Well looked after, it’s a credit to the park staff. The roses need replacing but that not so easy with rosé sickness

  • Richard Cranage
