We are in the middle of our first renovation and learning as we go. Lesson one - DO NOT buy where the designer takes you. We originally went to one of those crazy bathroom stores where there are no prices on anything. We settled on two Stonewood vanities, one in grey and one in white. I then got the pricing and had a small heartattack. Thankfully a colleague mentioned that Maple Grove HH carries Stonewood. I double checked Stonewood's website and on a snowy day headed over with our two labradoodles. The staff greeted us and our guys and were super friendly. We headed over to the Stonewood section, which was way better than the bathroom store with different models, colours and components on display. Owen jumped in to help us and I have to say again - wow - that guy knows his stuff. He asked questions and made suggestions that our designer didn't. I had no idea how many customizations were available. These are expensive vanities so it's good to ask lots of questions and make sure the choices are right. This brings me back to price - we happened to get in on a save the tax event which was awesome - and in total we saved roughly $1000 from crazy bathroom store. That's not peanuts. We were told that Kyle, the owner of this store was away on vacation and would place the order when he returned. We were in a bit of a time crunch and they said they would reach out to him. Imagine my surprise when I got a call from Kyle himself all the way from Aruba. He assured me my order was in and that I would get it a week sooner than anywhere else and he was right. I was told the greys usually take anywhere up to 5 weeks and I think I had mine in 3 and it was perfect timing. Even the delivery was seamless and free which makes it even better. This reno has been a bit frustrating on the sourcing side but this was a great experience. Great service and great price. Thanks!

We renovated our entire main floor with Maplegrove Kitchen and Bath and could not be happier with the results! My husband and I could not believe the communication, planning and organization of Kyle, Joe and their exceptionally hard working, skilled and professional team. The designs of our kitchen, living room, crown moulding and bathroom were seamless and flawless. The pictures we showed them and the vision we had were completely brought to life. Timelines were exceptional and adhered to, and if anything was delayed or back ordered, we were told right away and alternatives were always offered. Kyle and Joe went above and beyond to always communicate to us on a daily basis and they would foresee any potential barriers or difficulties with the installation and deal with them before they arose. They went the extra mile to hand deliver samples to us at our house and helped us narrow down potential finishing touches by offering up ideas of what others have found useful or that have been popular. I particularly liked how Kyle and Joe took care of us and our main floor as if it was their own, and they took pride in their high quality work and craftsmanship. It was an absolute pleasure working with them and we hope to do so again in the near future!

I have always had exceptionally good service at Maplegrove Home Hardware. I like to support local community stores and services so it is typically, my first stop when buying all of those household things that one finds oneself needing. The staff are always courteous and helpful, directing me to the needed product or even ordering it for me. Most recently, I renovated my bathroom, and on advise from a friend, I looked at some of the items that I would need for my renovation at Maplegrove Home Hardware. I visited the store several times in my decision making process as I considered purchasing Stonewood Bath cabinetry from them. In particular, Owen Day one of the Customer Service Reps, was very patient with me and so helpful as I came to a decision about style, colour, counter tops etc. I purchased this bathroom cabinet from them and I am so very happy with the product. It was also delivered without a delivery to my home. In addition, I purchased a toilet and it was also delivered free of charge to my home, being placed with my permission, in my garage. I find smaller hardware stores so much easier to shop at. Maplegrove Home Hardware is a great alternative to big box stores if you need to quickly run in and out to get what you need and you're in a hurry to get the job done. Kyle, the owner, was very approachable and knowledgeable; full of helpful tips. He and his staff were very much hands-on customer focused. Out front is a large selection of grills and smokers from respected manufacturers, including premium Webers models. Inside, an entire aisle is dedicated to grilling and cooking accessories. The store itself was well organized and well stocked. I was surprised to see a good selection of toilets and bathroom vanities (by Stonewood) on the floor as well. Most were already marble / quartz / granite topped. Parking was close and plentiful. The location is in a modern / pleasant outdoor strip plaza layout that has a lot other great stores. It’s lively and definitely not one of those brick and mortar plazas on a downhill decline. Would definitely return to shop there again. You and your team made the process of ordering the two vanities very easy. The vanities arrived exactly on schedule and were delivered in a timely manner. They were well wrapped and packaged in perfect condition. Even the deliverymen were courteous and pleasant. Our contractor who installed the vanities said that it was very easy to do. I had a great experience with Kyle and his Renovation Team at Maplegrove Home Hardware. They provided us many options for designs and colours and paid close attention to the details that mattered most to my wife and I. The tradesmen who completed the fireplace wall, trim work and flooring on our main level, were professional and meticulous. They communicated periodically during the duration, to ensure we were happy with the progress, and the job was done right the first time. They catered to all our requests without issue. Everything was completed in a timely manner and the project was reasonable and cost-effective. I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

Dont bother entering if the store is close to closing. They'd filled the aisles with their outdoor displays and made it impossible to get around the store. No wonder they'd locked the main door, we had to fight our way around a BBQ to even get in. Just lock both doors if you're done for the day. I always thought Home Hardware's were supposed to be friendlier local store, nevermind. In response to the reply. It wasn’t me looking for grout cleaner. I saw someone else was having an issue with getting around the store, they were told ‘it’s back there but you’ll struggle to get to it’. I certainly got the impression the staff wanted to go home to their families.

Poor customer service. I called Maplegrove on April 28 to find if they carried the Napoleon Phantom Prestige 500 BBQ model. I was told they had to check with the Napoleon salesperson and would get by Monday. Waited till the morning of May 6 and call in again and left a message for both of the Maplegrove's staff who deal with Napoleon to call me back. To this day I have not heard back from them. Took my business to Goemans appliances and got excellent customer service plus a great price with assembly and delivery on a Prestige Pro 500. I guess I should be thanking Maplegrove for not calling me back since I got a better deal at Goemans.

We need to buy Screen Door Latch, when I did the research, only can find in Home Hardware & Amazon, but Amazon one seems not the right size. So we went on Home Hardware and buy online, luckily they provide 'transfer shipment' between stores, so we don't need to go to the store which is far away from us. We just need to wait for the completion of transfer shipment and pick up in Oakville store. When my husband went Oakville store to pick up, the guy at the front already knew our item and the pick up process is very fast. This's our 1st experience at Home Hardware and we're very happy for it! Thank you!

I just returned with (terrific) TWS i20 airpods from a pair I picked out of a basketful of them at MHH. I had impulse bought a TWS I9s pair a week before from another basket there while hammer shopping, but alas, they alerted "battery dead" after only 10 minutes. When I brought the I9s back to report the malfunction, the staff quickly and pleasantly replaced them with the i20 pair in a mere 5 minutes. Could not ask for better service! Once again! It's been like that at MHH for decades. Extraordinary service.

This Home Hardware location is out of the way for me, but I plan on making it my go to store for anything they sell. Not only are their prices way better but I was asked twice if I needed help. Whereas at the big box stores you don't get asked and can hardly find anyone to get help. I recently checked the price of a replacement rake handle at another store (HD) where the price was $22.49. Home Hardware's price was less than half. This is not the first time I have come across such a large price difference.

It's a customer-focused business that offers big box store selection and pricing, but maintains the intimate connection to customer care and satisfaction you’d get from a boutique store. Friendly and helpful staff. Not a big store, but I can find pretty much everything I need here, without having to navigate through tens of isles and chase staff around at Home Depot. As a matter of fact, the staff here is coming over to ask if they can help. When I needed an item that they do not carry, they order it for me. I found that the prices here are slightly lower than at the Home Depot. Today, I just got a Lutron Claro switch for $4 while at HD or Amazon is $10.

Staff here are rude. We ordered an item and was told it would arrive shortly within the next week. After not receiving anything, we called and asked about it and was told it would be another 7 weeks! If it was that long of a wait tell us from the beginning do not lie about it. On top of that staff were not following safety protocols, no one was wearing a mask and they tried to blame mis communication on that fact. Do better.

Kyle and his design team were so helpful when it came to designing both our kitchen and bathroom at our new home. We had a blank canvas to work with and not a lot of space, but we still ended up achieving everything we were looking for and more. We love our Home Hardware kitchen and bathroom and have recommend Kyle and his team to many of our friends and family. You will not be disappointed!!

Always a wonderful customer service experience when I shop here. I had to quickly get a can of paint after Home Depot messed up what I asked for (I should've just gone to Home Hardware in the first place) and a wonderful guy named Justin helped me out quickly and was very kind and took interest in how my day was going. Great prices and the staff is always helpful and knowledgeable.

Very nice store, kept clean and organized. The location is good, Maplegrove plaza is beautiful and i liked the look from the outside where this Home-hardware is located. The 2 associates inside were helpful and nice. The pricing is very competitive to some Canadian tire stores.

This is a small store with big customer service. The staff is super helpful and they carry alot of quality products. They also offer alot of services, in 2012 I had the screens in my doors and windows fixed. This is a lovely alternative to big box stores.

From our initial design meeting to the final finishes, Kyle and his team were very professional and great to work with. We could not be happier with the quality of their work and the ease that came with the whole process. Highly recommend!

I bought my $2000 Weber BBQ from them although I now live in Bronte. They were my old store before I moved but still go back there. Excellent well trained and helpful staff. They installed it in my new condo building balcony. Flawless !!!

Bought a Napoleon gas grill...the associate Kyle was very knowledgeable and helpful. This is a locally owned neighbourhood franchise location that is the go-to hardware store plus with excellent, common sense knowledge and service.

Staff have been fast and efficient with answering product questions and pulling orders. Not all stores have staff willing to go above and beyond in this extremely busy time of online orders curbside pickups etc!

Like others have said it’s a great alternative to big box stores. Staff was friendly, the store itself was a little chaotic but imagine it’s hard to maintain with a bare minimum workforce during COVID.
