Glad to put first review about this Indian store which inaugurated today. First of all many Congratulations We visited this store today in evening. There were some people in queue, but it didn't take long to get in. Store is very clean and well organized. You would find almost everything here you get in India (especially in Gujarat) and rates are also reasonable too. Vegetables were also fresh and in different varieties. Instant snacks like Puff, Vada pav were also available. Fresh sweets like Jalebi, Penda, Ladoo and many other items were mouthwatering. Staff is also humble and treat the customers well. Plenty of space for parking. Very happy with shopping and definitely visit this place again for Indian groceries. There are other Indian stores in town like Marche Namaste, Victoria, Tharsani, Lavanaya, but hope this would become my favorite after Namaste. Hope they would continue to treat the customers in same way like they did today on first day and would keep prices reasonable with high quality. Thanks! ------------------------------------------------------------ Updated from 5 to 4 stars (6th June, 2021): I visited this store now almost 5-6 times from inauguration. Main concern is even though they have items in storer room, they just say "No - item not in stock". This has happened many time now. I am part of store's whatsapp group and they put regular pics of vegetables and other items once they're available in store. Sometimes I visit in evening on same day and item goes out of stock. This has happened to many of my friends as well. We generally have to drive 15km one way to reach the store and if we don't get the items what we are looking for then what's the point. Feels like customer service is getting degraded day by day. Hope they'll pay attention. Thank you!

Not the cheapest in Montreal but very clean and well maintained.. I went for the 1st time and when I reached home I found out that sandal agarbatti ($4) was missing from my purchased item(12 June 2023) the item was scanned at the beginning (1st entry in the receipt) and it was never put in the box which the sales girl provided. Always check after you purchase before you leave the store. Reply to your comment: Hi, thank you for replying after a month of comment, the idea was to let other customers know!! check all their purchase item before leaving the store. We were the only customer at the time of billing and the missing item was scanned at very beginning. But anyways I live far so I never thought to drive back to pick up the $4 item. have a good day and learn to be professional when you reply to customers, most replies to customers shows your arrogance.. it’s your business after all.. As per your reply I am at fault *because I wrote the review 3 weeks later You replied after 1 month, that’s ok .. your CCTV doesn’t hold footage for 3 weeks(my car dash cam has more memory though) *I should check before leaving the counter, you are right.. exactly and I am letting other customers know that beware of their employees.. an IPad sized item missed when no customers at all.. think what might happen if it was little busy.

First of First you replied almost after 2 weeks , which means you don't bother about the customer experience. Secondly your reply seems to be polite but in actual you guys are horrible rude over the call and in Store. I am not the only one who says about this, other customer reviews speaks about it. Well you did review in your video recording but I sent you the photo for damaged ones as it was not visible in your video. You guys are the best to make stories. Regarding names of the vegetables you guys were doing argument and instead of you should improve on it. You guys gave no mercy at all. Store people are very rude and they are not ready to listen anything. Even they were shouting on the call. See the damaged aata photo. Other horrible part is they are selling vegetables with wrong name and their is no apology. Really how rude people are.

Whole stock is good like they have almost everything but the way of interacting with customers, how to deal, how to response, they don't know. The lady in the counter is very rude, I think she cannot handle the whole counter, I was about to ask one thing and she got irritated and said come when you'll be done shopping. Many times I faced these kinda situations with that lady, no respect, no thankyou either she was not even welcoming. After selecting all the items we when I was at cash counter that lady was trying to give us the feeling that you came here cz you need these things , otherwise you can go without buying. Many many improvements required in customer service. I'm not going again here cz I value my respect.

We found the store quite well arranged and well managed. All most all Indian household groceries can be found. Veggies, fruit, groceries, Pooja samagris and a few quick snacks like samosas and dhoklas and sweets available. Very clean and nice staff. The most important point to note, the store certains food products like papad, thepla and many more stuff are from local(Indian) sellers. Which are not less than the big brands or I would say far better than the big brands.. so far definitely, the best store I would say.

I was surprised when I opened a product I had bought at Om and discovered it was not good quality, when I asked to return it they said no because I opened it already...if I didn’t open it how would I have known ?! It’s not about the money, basically they have a no return policy which is weird for a grocery store. I came all the way from Vaudreuil to shop there, I will definitely not bother going again totally not worth the trip I can think of plenty other Indian grocery stores which give better service

  • Vyshampayan Datar

Absolutely loved this place. Staying in south shore Montreal it's difficult to go all the way to West island to get groceries but I will make it a point to go to this place whenever I go to temples I will buy my groceries here. Spacious place unlike all other Indian groceries in Montreal and also cheaper compared to others. I really hope you guys will open soon on the south shore so that people like me can benefit. Even if you are willing to give a franchisee feel free to reach out to me.

  • Raunak T.

Love this store! Firstly, this is one of the cleanest and most organized Indian stores I've ever seen in Montreal. Secondly, they have an amazing range of products, whether it's food or puja related items. They also have cricket bats, and more. Also, they have freshly prepared theplas, samosas, vada pav, and more. The team is also amazing and very helpful and has sufficient parking spaces. Finally, they keep running some promotions, which is great. Highly recommended!

  • arshdeep kalra

the worst experience i could ever have they gave me a ice cream which tastes bad and was not even eatable i went back to let them know they told me its fine and i have never tried ice cream before it was not about money but still they not have a good customer service at all they sell expired products by changing dates thats why product turns out to be bad after opening and then they dont even return or exhange and on top of that show attitute

  • Donsavio Francis

Very nice Indian store. Super organized and well laid out. They have a variety of authentic imported Indian grocery items. They also have membership and deal updates (I have not yet used that feature). The store is well stocked with nonperishables as well as Indian fruits and veggies. They have a tonne of varieties when comes to Indian snacks. Very convenient location and has easy access and a considerable amount of parking spaces as well.

  • Piyush Thummar

It’s a wonderful shop where you can get all your indian and specially gujarati grocery. Also, I cannot deny that prices are also cheaper than pther store for many of the items. You name something, and they have it for you. Overall, it’s very good grocery store where you can get indian vegetables and everything fresh and frozen as well. Many thanks to the store owners that they are bringing such things for us. :)

  • Ushma D

Om india have some staff and owners that are very mean and talks to you rudely. They didn't receive elderly customers well, one of them almost attacked my mom and I was ready to call the police. You guys are suppose to be nice not rude, after all you are to deal with public on regular basis. They are selling their products that are defected please check the dates n be careful. Rating - 1000

  • THUMMAR PIYUSH

For me, it’s a wonderful store where I can get everything that I need. :) I am very happy with the availability of most pf the things that I use regularly. Also, the vegetables they put are fresh and nice. Also, they have almost all the frozen veggies and ready to eat foods as well. Many thanks to the store owners for keeping all the necessary things, specially for indians and gujaratis.

The service offered is of an exceptionally low standard, with employees displaying rude and disrespectful behavior. I encountered three occasions where phone calls were abruptly ended. I wholeheartedly discourage anyone from patronizing this store.
