Historically, the World Court was created to provide Nations with a venue to enforce their Trade Agreements but the Corporate United States refused the Courts invitation to participate because they were denied control over the Court. All of the other American Courts are pseudo courts or fiction and simply are Corporate Administrative Offices designed to resemble Courts and all of their Judges are simply Executive Administrations designed to resemble Judges. The purpose of these pseudo-Corporate Courts are only to settle contract disputes and since George Washington’s government was military in the structure; if either party refuses to participate, these Courts cannot become involved and the dispute is dead in the water! My use of the term ‘dead in the water is not a canard because these pseudo Courts are unconstitutional Courts of Admiralty, the International Law of the Sea! These so-called judges break the law every day in their courtroom. This system is rigged beyond repair, the prosecutors, lawyers, and judges are all from the same bar association so this means that they're NOT true for the people! and I believe one must fend for themselves and share true knowledge with those who are willing to learn. Until next my friend... stay free...

It is impossible to get information over the phone. Nobody ever answers the phone, meaning you get transferred to a voicemail. That is great but this persons mailbox has been full for 6 days. I called back again and chose the option for all other issues. The lady i spoke with asked me what number I was trying to call and I told her "whatever is on the website." Because that is where they refer you every single time you call. I thought, well if I call the number on the website they won't refer me back to it. It's ridiculous. She asked me if I knew the number and I said no. She said this is the number, blah blah blah, did you call it? I told her I called the number in the website and she hung up on me. UNACCEPTABLE. I feel new employees need to be hired. They are rude, uneducated about the court house, clueless about what is on the website, can't have a civil conversation over the phone...etc.

  • Michael Warren

Absolutely, complete waste of time. I came there for a simple list of people that are in pre-foreclosure status, that have lis pendens, notice of default,..., and they tried to tell me that they "only handle marriage and divorce and family stuff there". I pointed out their BS, in that there's literally a sign outside that shows they handle court documents in general, and they blew me off and were condescending to me afterwards... To add insult to injury, they sent me to several different places in the building: the 7th floor, the 10th floor, the 13th floor,... To make matters worse, the person that I spoke to, was the supervisor! How can they call themselves supervisor if they're this unwilling to help people or treat them with respect?!

Nasty, disgusting corruption. I wish that we could commit the same fraud that this municipality commits on its poorest citizens. You guys are pathetic! Police state-ism at its finest. As long as you get your quotas and tax everyone. I wish you would all get infested with mice or bugs. No one answers the phones. I called Bob Segall again and e-mailed him so they can investigate you AGAIN! The BMV steals 100s of millions from Indiana citizens and you steal millions! YOU are the reason why good honest people move from cities into the suburbs. Think about if everyone paid you guys in pennies, you guys would go out of business because you count pennies all day. Really makes you think.

  • FlReelAngler

I have reached out MULTIPLE times and NOONE attempts to call you back or follow up. It is truly pathetic. I closed my case to open in current state to where I reside, it has been 7 half months and my state has been requesting documents from this office and to no avail they get NO reaponse either. Now it is screwing with my income. Non custodial owes me more than 20 grand in back child support and I cant have my case opened to attempt recieving payments until THIS office sends proper documents my state is requesting. Also missed out on getting his stimulus check too since noone wants to do their job. Something needs to be done. May have to call news station next.....

Parking is horrible and it's really easy to hate the experience of going to the city county building. I think the biggest problem is the staff is worried to death about making the city liable for anything. This translates to the the staff having some/all of the knowledge on how to get things done and not helping anyone with anything. If you have money to get a lawyer or maybe know someone who works there personally. Then I could see how the experience could be pleasant. Also mind how you carry yourself as if you lose your cool at the city county building you could find yourself in jail really fast.

I'm sure the staffers at the clerk's office have a lot to deal with, but when you're greeted with a particularly rude person and then transferred to the wrong department multiple times before being put on indefinite hold without any inkling of information that you called for, it's pretty infuriating. Never bothered paying much attention to who I was voting for for county clerk, but I don't think it's outrageous to imagine that they have some control over their staffing - and I'll certainly be paying attention on the next election cycle to try to find someone who'll clean house on their worst staff.

  • Lillith Ophidia

Trying to get a legal name change and my first call is answered with its "$156, if you need any more information Google it, call the law library or get an attorney" then hung up on. Second call the next day when I asked for information I had to talk over them and ask them to let me finish asking my question just to find out what forms of payment they accepted. Seriously, I'm not going to complain about wait times, but when I have to come close to yelling at someone to ask how to give them money it's a bit ridiculous.

  • Royale Byrd-Mann

Ive been dealing with them from hoth sides of parenting. They do answer phones, it just takes a while for 1 of the 8 ladies in that department to get to your call. Its funny, i sit on hold for at least 30 minutes to an hour, and when i go downtown to the office, the lady has me wait longer while she answers phones. I would love to see more jobs for the city/state open up, EVEN IF ITS JUST A CONFIDENTIAL CALL CENTER. And if you ask where they do that at, think about the "state you livin".

  • Curt Conn

My visit to the office in the Justice Center has always been pleasant but I have noticed employees just setting around even laying back with hands behind their head. One appears to be a "supervisor" and has a hung one that hangs down his leg and he seems to enjoy showing it off. LOL "Time to lean , time to clean". No public employee should ever show this behavior to the public. If there is time to just set around then maybe you have to many employees in that office. Cut Cost

  • Steve Himebrook

Went to pickup a marriage license after applying online. Says their hours of operation are from 8am to 4:30pm. Walk in at 4:16 and they turn us away because they cut off at 4:15pm because it "takes to long to do the paperwork before 4:30pm". Would have been nice to put that pertinent information on the website with information on how to pickup your marriage license. Looks like I will have to miss more time from work because of their poor communication skills.

  • Anthony Moszee

I hate the way the clerk's office employees treat people. They don't seem like they want to help, it seems more like they purposely try to make it harder for people to take care of what needs to be done. There's barely any signs that show you the way to go, causing you to get lost pretty easily. But, I go here often, and it doesn't seem like they're gonna change it any time soon. So my advise, don't put yourself in a situation that you have to come here.

  • C Gray

I have been trying to reach someone for a week regarding my child support order. Finally I had to take time off work and go to the office for help - why offer a phone number when there is NEVER anyone available to take a call? There is no reason for this process to be difficult... I'm the custodial parent and I've been waiting a month for a support payment. I know that nothing is instantaneous, but a month seems excessive.

  • Patty Davis

I am sorry I done consider myself divorced it does not take that long to finalize someone's divorce you got plenty of judges who can go over that and stamp and sign it Covid has nothing to do with my divorce I do not want too hear cause of that and my ex spouse expect to get a call he will raise gain you do not know him like I do. If it does not get done soon a complaint will get filed ok.

  • Naomi Lorentzen

If I could give negative stars I would. Whoever is in charge of helping with marriage certificates answers and immediately hangs up on you. I already did all the work online I just want to pick up my certificate so I can get married and they are hindering this. Why would they hire someone who doesn’t even do bare minimum! I’m going to be escalating this seeing as I record my calls.

  • Linda Todd

I have been to the Marion County Clerks office on 2 occasions recently and was very pleased by how friendly and helpful the employees (including the guards at the door) were. Pleasantly surprised. One employee even went out of his way to find information on a problem I was having paying a restitution fee. Thank you. Also was able to call and get through to a person by pressing 0.

  • Kayla N

The people answering the Clerks office phone needs to get their head out of their butt. Always rude for absolutely NO reason. Making it seem like their better than the people calling in to ask about information on certain thing. The girl working today shouldn’t even be working in any kind of customer service field because her attitude sucks.

  • Frances Jordan

Extremely rude over the phone, I called to see if the Clerk's office would perform marriages and she told me to google it. I also asked if there was a judge available who could do it to which she responded by talking in a demeaning tone and saying "You need to google it." Rude and unhelpful, so glad I don't live in that county.

  • Emma Lanley

Came to get a marriage license! Walked in and out of there on a Friday afternoon in 15 minutes, got married across the street at Same Day Weddings Indy and then walked back across to the clerk's office to get our official marriage certificate. Only another 10 minute wait! Everyone was very nice and it was very fast and easy.

  • Jamie cook

Wish I could leave no star been sitting here 4 hours and still haven’t gotten to speak to anyone about Unsupervised probation that my husband been put on it’s crazy they can’t move any faster I mean with COVID going on and 15 people being in there it’s way too much when all of this could have been done over the phone

  • Mrs McIntosh

Have tried several times to complete marriage License application after visiting the office. The clerk was very nice and made sure we were given the link . The Web page is the problem. Does not save information no mater if you pause and get the key to resume it will start you over . Will be calling tomorrow ASAP .

  • Dan Wellman

This is a disgrace of a public office. Customer service, or in this instance - Public Service, is something that is completely lost on the apathetic and unhelpful employees that sit in this office for 40 hours and collect a check. Myla Eldridge is up for re-election this year. Vote her out!

  • LoverforChrist

Horrible horrible horrible. Indiana, you should be ashamed that our tax paying dollars pays for this ridiculous entity!!!! They NEVER answer the phones and when they do, they act like we are impositioning them!! Call your state representatives and let them know how these people treat us

  • Penny Stuart

I was hung up on today when I requested to be mailed a marriage certificate for purposes of realID. It says on the website that it can be mailed, and since I am working fulltime, I don't have time to go in person. Yet the clerk refused to mail it and hung up on me. This is inexcusable.

  • Lisa Godbold

I tried to call the city county clerks office with no luck at all! You get a recording, telling you about everything going on, then you get the prompts to select where/who you would like to speak with.. Then they just hang up on you, so don't even try to call them. They won't answer!#

  • Helen Wilkowski

Worthless and incompetent. The people working marriage licenses do not do their job, they do not answer the phone, they do not send copies that have been requested and paid for, they're rude and lazy and don't care about anything. What else can you expect from a government office?

  • Rhonda Owensby

Not everyone has the internet and that is the first thing recordings want you to do. It wouldn't hurt if someone would answer the phone and take the time to just answer the question a person has . Bring back the old times when you interacted with a live person. So frustrating.

  • clarisa polk

I was on hold for almost 40 minures, before I hung up. I called at 1:30, hoping everyone would be back from lunch. I was trying to get information that I didn't see online. I dont have time to go in the office, I guess I will have to call back when I have 2 hours to spare.

  • Regular User

Antiquated, inadequate phone answering system. 'O' doesn't work. There's no switchboard operator, just music. So don't tell "all agents are busy assisting other callers. Please stay on the line." Only one general number for the entire clerk's office is shown on line.

  • Ana Tovar

The clerk that I just spoke to there is a JOKE. 0 human decency. Just because she is miserable at her job does not mean she has to take it on to other people. The only good thing about this is that she will probably work there for the remaining of her life.

  • Veronica High

Terrible Terrible Terrible. If you can avoid calling/visiting this place at all, do! I would rather cut my own eyes out than wait on hold another 45 minutes to be rudely spoken to by an uneducated "secretary " again. 0 starts should absolutely be an option.

  • Monica Montgomery

Zero stars. No one ever answers the phone. I have to take another day off work and miss pay to get 1 question answered. A question that I shouldn't even have to ask considering I paid for them to send the information to my home address way back in February.

  • Hayleigh Neumann

Clerk’s office staff members were very helpful with a complicated question that had many moving parts. Ultimately the staff members were able to help me get a same-day resolution, and everyone I interacted with was patient and considerate.

  • Nic Morgan

Getting into this place is impossible. I work the same hours they're open, so when I finally manage to leave work early and after navigating through the construction and finding ONE door I could access, it was locked before 4:30.

  • Lili Cheng ortiz

I need the record of the court . And person who assisted my husband on the phone is very helpful and polite. He sent the form to the e-Mail and even answered the questions we have . Wonderful person . Thanks a lot .

  • CJ Oller

I’ve been calling for 2 months now to pay a ticket. I do not live anywhere near this place so I can’t just show up. Everytime i get a mailbox and NO ONE EVER CALLS BACK! This is ridiculous. Do your job already FFS

  • Steve Clay

Have spent months trying to get birth information on my adopted mother. They do not reply to emails or do their jobs as promised. They are also not pleasant on the phone. Why have an office that doesn’t function?

  • Sabrina S

Negative 5 stars for the lady at window 1. I don’t know if she is lazy or just hates her job. ‍♀️ 5 Stars for the lady at window 4. I wait for her now. She is always very professional and efficient …

  • Focus Above

I have been trying to talk to someone instead of being sent to a computer but that is NOT an option. How long do I have to wait after a child support order increase is actally updated in the system?

  • Carole Vandever

Called was on hold for over an hour( I refuse to hang up; what kind of customer service is this, how is it possible to be on hold heading toward 1.5 hours? No one is manning the phones

  • Jessie Browne-Michaels

Impersonal. I navigated a labyrinth of automated menus three times. Twice the extension had no answer, and once I was transferred back to the dead end extension by a disgruntled employee.

  • Brandon Stokes

It was a government building if you come here for excellent service and not business you should get off the internet. If you are reading this as well you should also get off the internet.

  • Katlynd Gibson

I'm not sure how to contact the courts, they never answer my phone call. Literally been on the line for 30minutes now and I don't know how to find out my court date... HELP!

  • Leslie Warren

I called from north carolina to get a copy of my marriage Certificate. They were so helpful very polite and very business oriented. I would give them ten stars if possible.

  • Lynde Ratz

The RUDEST people you can possibly deal with when your trying to make a payment. Also not very helpful and makes you feel like you're putting them out by asking questions.

  • jimmy cricket

They don't answer the phone when you push "0". It rings and rings and rings. If you try to get to a human via another key pad entry you get a recording and hung up on.

  • Nick House

They sure do make it hard to pay any fees or funds you might have. For the elected official in charge of recor keeping. They sure do act like it's your job

  • India Hammond

I have called for weeks and left several messages and no one calls me back. You hit 0 and no one answers, it just plays music. Worse customer service ever!

  • Teri Newhart

Waited on error and hour 2 different times to try to give court necessary information about a pending get case. No one seems to be able to answer a phone.

  • Travolie Ravioli

Don't expect to hear from your probation officer. You can call them everyday and leave voicemails but they still don't call back smfh...... so sad

  • J Cook

I thought they were very nice. The lady was knowledgeable and politely answered my questions and I was on my way. Great customer service.

  • Czar Gazzetti

Newton county has Marion county looking sad. You'd think they'd be paid less the way they don't do their jobs a majority of the time.

  • J RAWK

Absolutely worthless, disingenuous, lazy, unconcerned, unskilled people...they deserve what they are paid, which probably isn't much.

  • Z abel

I have been trying to find out about how to pay a traffic ticket and cannot get anyone on the phone and no email back

  • Atlanta Horn

Absolutely ridiculous stayed on hold for 3 hours yes 3 hours never got anyone to answer Absolutely ridiculous

  • jessica Childress

How hard is it to answer a phone 40 minutes and counting just to see if a filing fee waiver was approved

  • J Merk

Prepare to get nothing but a voice-mail and busy signal in multiple departments during business hours.

  • Carolyn Kissel
