The lady was very rude and hung up instead of letting us talk to the supervisor"

Whew where to begin. I have read many of the reviews and I would like to say that its very disappointing reading what appears to be the same issues from 6 years ago. What's more angering is that almost each of the issues that were being faced then has been experienced by myself or my wife. I can write all the angering moments that we have faced in the last 2 months to just last week as I have made many calls, spoken to the many operators, supervisors, promised emails (I no longer hold my breath), speaking to field supervisors out along the many routes. I can be a very negative and rude person among throughout this post, but I chose to just say that the issues lie among everyone in charge. Not the Hartline officials, but the officials that have never driven a bus throughout Tampa Bay witnessing the children going to school early in the morning, the young man that is headed out to the construction site to work, as well as the young lady that is heading into the office for her day as a medical assistant. I believe the vary political officials that we vote for have forgotten who they serve. We are in troubling times and the one thing we don't need is for the trouble to continue. We don't need to continue to ride disgusting buses daily. We don't need to feel unsafe at the the transit centers. We don't need to have drivers on their jobs consistently arriving late as we may have to depend on them to get to our jobs. We don't need the outdated software which is being used to service its customers. We don't need limited routes and times for public service. As you see the list goes on and on. I will close by saying we (my wife and I)lost our primary mode of transportation and since then we have had to resort to public transit as our primary mode of getting to our jobs. Please make me aware of the times and dates of future meetings so I may attend and make my suggestions .

Got into an argue over the phone one time while at marion (and i actually got quiet when i seen security was watching) and now they follow me every time i go up there. Its to the point where i move out of the guards eyesite and watch them move back into vantage point. One guard stood 10 feet in front of me staring me down then she moved when i looked up at her lol 2 mins later same guard is standing with another guard at a vantage point watching me again. I started recording them and they got mad smh the cold part is i dont cause any problems up here and im either dress professional or business casual because usually on my way to work or an interview. Meanwhile people smoke spice in the bathroom and walk around the transit center talking to themselves but im the problem? Lol smh idiots!

Disturbing. Nine out of 10 times their change or pass machines don't work. Their services reps at the counter are rude when asking for change. Their policies prohibit them from providing change, even when their machines don't work. The machines also eat your money and they provide no other recourse but to receive it in the mail. Their service is unreliable. The buses are late at least 60% of the time. Sometimes the buses are clean and sometimes you see the same pee stains for two days. Drivers will sit there past the time to depart like people aren't trying to get to work. Some Drivers are rude. This is a service that people with lower incomes depend on! Get it together.

With Hart you never know what's to come next. Sometimes the bus is late by 7 minutes. Or maybe 11.. 5? 21? (yes 20+ minutes is not that uncommon at all). And you might still want to be on time, just in case, you know. Well think again, because sometimes (though rarely) the bus can be *earlier* than its schedule by a few minutes. Oh, and sometimes, the bust just doesn't come at all (skipping a schedule, meaning you will have to wait for at least another 20 minutes for the next one, if you're lucky to be waiting at a "high frequency" line that is). It definitely could be worse, but wouldn't say it's Tampa's biggest source of pride.

Scary. No cops with lots of bums having around. Bring exact fare, credit/debit cards can NOT be used, the guy in the booth will not give you change, the ATM charges a $3.50 fee for $20 but the coin change machine only returns $0.25 coins, so you will be walking around with a pocket full of quarters and homeless guys asking you for money. It is a lot cheaper than a cab, but very anxiety generating. Definitely not to be done in the evening. The buses work well and are on time, though. ** this is a per a 6'2' USF student that took the Megabus from the Miami airport (which was great), and then took the #5 to campus **

Worst experience of living in Tampa for years . Came to drop off family and was met by a Caucasian officer with the most disrespectful attitude arguing with us in front of our car . There’s are no clear signs of entrances only bus parking spots . So me making trying to make a u turn he approached us aggressively . I have small children and disabled family members that were shocked and terrified at the approach of this wanna be officer . I will be putting in as many complaints on all sites and contacting corporate ! Do not reccomend many homeless are all over the bus area sleeping , eating , begging .

Most people that rely on the bus do so for work, school, appointments and errands. Most of us have schedules to adhere to. However, the buses do NOT adhere to their own schedules. They are never on time and rarely do the drivers admit or apologize. It us always someone else's fault as to why the bus is 45 minutes late or has just failed to show up. I rely on Hartline to run professionally and on time so that I can be on time myself. It is not professional or right that these drivers have no over sight. If they can not be on time, hire drivers that can be on time.

The reason I took the Megabus and paid extra for the front window seat from Tampa to Miami was for the so claimed Wifi on board, comfy seat and the nice view. Unfortunately, the Wifi is broken (no wifi at all for 5+ hours), the bus driver said it has been off for a long time and they never fix it umm hmm, the charging outlets are loose, the seat becomes unconfortable after the first hour, and they don't even bother wiping off the windshield of dead bug juices before the next trip, so the view is obstructed. Next time I will try a different alternative.

The bus in Marion transit center is the worse! The bus #1 is always late. I called the customer service twice for a complaint and told them to give an email to managers to contact me no one ever contacted me yet they want more people to utilize their service to get money but why? The price is stupid. Want more clients change the prices make it more affordable and give monthly passes and not the stupid flamingo app! Week pass - 15 Month pass - 50 Pinellas transit buses are always on time and is clean and more affordable.

Ticket woman threatens you a 35 dollar ticket even though there are no signs indicating where to get dropped off or where not to be dropped off. Very threatening and intimidating for no reason. City needs to get clear signs to say where not to go... or barriers... until then, stop threatening people and scarring them into thinking you're going to ticket them because they are in the wrong area. Not my fault this place isn't clear with where to go.

It is a reliable place to catch a bus, and runs smoothly, only drawback is it is not a very safe place. I always feel as if I must be on my guard, especially if you're catching a later bus (around 8 or so). I've been followed and staked out before, so it's best to be prepared. If you feel unsafe, do not be here alone, if you cannot defend yourself, do not come alone. There are no cops, and the beggars and criminals are never very far.

I travel early 6 30 , along with 200 other people there. Bathrooms not open every day. Older lady messed herself, guys jumping the cemetery wall to relieve themselves. Ticket guy inside looks like he combed his hair with a grenade when i told him. Said I cant help you .If you want to be a human don't go here. Don't carry cash either, it's like the walking dead everyone is 50cents from success. Other than that, well get a car.

Bay Area is laid out very well it's easy to get from one side of the transfer station to the other and see all the buses that are service there there's a inside building that's central air has a bus route papers and it's a accessible for handicapped and they also sell bus passes inside so it's very easy to access and restrooms are accessible for wheelchairs there outside I believe they're only open till 11 in the evening.

They need some kind of security here at night. It is pretty scarey. Megabus is 30 minutes behind schedule (not surprising) and it is dark. There is a random man standing outside his car in the lot. He is jumping up and down and waving at me. I am trying very hard to look busy on my phone. He is getting closer and closer to my window. He walks away and then comes back and starts circling my car.

most unprofessional bus service i have ever used. They have no ticket machines at the airport. The bus driver acts intentionally surprised me not having coins and is not willing to change bills. I had to change money at a store and wait another 60 minutes for the next bus. What a useless company. Just get rid of it. First, fire the useless bus drivers and replace them with computers.

Security needs to do something about people who are just hanging out there and bumming cigarettes and change from actual riders. This is very annoying! If I gave a cigarette to every person who asks every day that I am there, I wouldn't have any for myself! They are not cheap, and if they cannot afford to buy them, then they shouldn't be smoking in the first place....

This morning I was dropping my wife safely in the parking lot when a officer very rudely came asking where a was going. I said nicely that I was dropping my wife like I always do every morning the officer very angry said to me Im not suppose to park there which I’m aware my wife she got insulted making feel sad and embarrassed because she doesn’t know English

Bus. 4709 was falling me so close if i would have had to hit my breaks i would have been hit. It caused me to go through a yellow light. The bus blatantly ran the red light. Then it passed me on Dale Mabry doing over 50 mph. This is what drivers are transporting your loved ones. The phones are not working at the office. So much for public safety

Buses are always late. And no one cares, not even the supervisor. They change the schedules constantly and they never clean up bus stops. Don't even think about asking anybody for help at the transit stations or bus drivers. They are unhelpful. I've caught buses in different cities and this is by far the worst. If I could give no stars I would.

I don't think the drivers really care about the people. On a certain bus today there was a young man between his mid to late twenties using vulgar language against women, men and saying that he will bash peoples head in.. For the safety of the public and the driver I believe that young man should have been escorted off

Route 1 bus #2132 at approximately 5:25pm has the rudest driver. Bus driver is a woman with red hair and has thee worst attitude. Unsure as to why HART would allow these people to continue to serve the public. Driver should be suspended. Will be following up with corporate as this is unacceptable.

It was good safe and had a great time has real info on where the busses are and are coming in i use it everyday from largo to tamp and to work and has great price's and is in good shape not all messed up with trash every where has a good vibe and i will always use this place if im in tampa..

I'm pretty sure most of the 5 star reviews are about the bus and nor the station. This place is unsafe!!, if your kids are arriving at this station, please be on time or early, you don't want them to be here alone. There are a lot of sketchy people who will ask for money, bad area.

Security is always on duty making you feel safe. Prices and convenience are fantastic. Bathroom is usually clean. Food stand located directly across the street of you want to grab a bite. The majority of the bus drivers are very friendly and helpful. I'd recommend to anyone.

This station is consistently filthy. And I do not blame it on the users. Hartline can maintain streetcar stops all through downtown and Ybor which are spotless. In my opinion this station is a low priority because of it's mostly poor and non-tourist users.

I've been using megabus to save me the time driving to Atlanta or Orlando. When the bus arrives, I pick up my child and focus on enjoying her company. The buses are clean and my kids will hop on a bus to see me at the drop of a hat! On time and affordable.

Any bus I tried to take either were late (in- towner) or didn't show up at all (6). Then the Mega bus is 60-90 minutes delayed. The building is not as it appears in pics, the only thing inside is a ticket booth for the HART line and vending machines.

Has an air conditioned waiting area inside with snack machines. A live person was there at a window for bus services and change. However the change machine was out of order near snack machines. Restrooms we're clean . Was there during non busy times.

They permanently closed the bathrooms making bus riders pay for what loiterers are doing. Now they have security walking around. They could have kept the bathrooms open so pedestrians can use them and have security remove the loiterers. Ridiculous!

Being that I work up here, I can say it is a good enviornment. The concession stand i work has low prices for people who want to purchase. Fares are cheap at $4 for all day pass. Has security and police service. Up to date info at info center.

1st time dropping off someone here, and the security is mad as hell to us cursing and shouting that we should go, without saying where the right place to drop off people. Very helpful! By the way it was 0800 and no traffic or buses around..

I am forced to pass through every day of the working week. Not a safe place for anyone to be at any time. This is due to the nearby population and bus clientele rather than the fault of HART, who do good work with little resources.

Most drivers are very sweet and kind, but there are some who are rude and disrespectful. Also, the older white gentleman who works in the Guest Services is extremely condescending and unwelcoming.
