In the heart of Melbourne, where the mundane collides with the extraordinary, lies the enigmatic beast known as Marvel Stadium. A colossal coliseum, an arena that defies the conventional norms of sports and entertainment. This is not your average venue; it’s a hedonistic playground where chaos and revelry dance hand in hand. Marvel Stadium isn’t just a brick-and-mortar structure; it’s an altered state of reality. A multi-purpose behemoth designed to swallow you whole, whether you’re a corporate stooge seeking refuge or a casual reveler lost in the sensory pandemonium. The air crackles with anticipation, a palpable energy that transcends the boundaries of the mundane. Be aware, this is where the wild things roam. The architecture is a testament to a fever dream, a hallucinatory spectacle that mirrors the collective madness of Melbourne itself. From thunderous cheers to the pulsating beats of live music, the stadium is a cacophony of stimuli, a visceral assault on the senses. Celebrate in true Melbourne style? Marvel Stadium scoffs at tradition, ushering you into a realm where conformity is sacrilege. This is not a venue; it’s a psychedelic pilgrimage, a journey into the heart of Melbourne’s frenzied soul. Always remember to embrace the chaos, for within the madness of Marvel Stadium, you might just find a shred of truth.

Marvel Stadium is a state-of-the-art stadium located in Docklands, Melbourne. It is home to the AFL's Melbourne Demons and Western Bulldogs, as well as the A-League's Melbourne Victory. The stadium has a retractable roof, which makes it a versatile venue that can host a variety of events, from sporting matches to concerts. The stadium is well-designed and the views from the stands are excellent. The atmosphere is also electric, especially when the stadium is full. Overall, I would highly recommend Marvel Stadium to anyone looking for a great place to watch a sporting event or concert. It is a modern stadium with a great atmosphere that is sure to please fans of all ages.

A superhero of a stadium. I've been to lots of events here over the years, from cricket to concerts to A-League football. I haven't had a bad experience yet - apart from an RMIT graduation in 2009, which was a shambles, but I can forgive the stadium for that one. I love the current Marvel sponsorship and decor. Not many major Australian stadiums are so well connected to a major train station (Southern Cross), even if it feels like a long, slow walk at the end of a concert. When it's quiet, on a non-event day, a lap around the outside of Marvel is actually a nice walk.

Came to see the mighty Essendon bombers beat the Adelaide crows. I am an Adelaide person but follow Essendon. Great security on way in. Bags searched quickly and efficiently. Good singage to your seats. A stadium person at each entrance checking your seat allocation so you did not sit in another patrons seat. Toilets were large and clean. Lots of entertainment before the match and at the breaks. Lots for kids to be involved in Leaving the stadium was quick. And the bombers won topping off my trip to Melbourne

Great location, facilities were convenient, our big issue was our seats we bought general admission tickets, that had a picture what our seating options were. Then on the night we arrived there early to sit at the front and enjoy the game we were literally told bad luck go sit right up the back, we weren't the only ones that got caught out and tried complaining and were only given a shrug. So we paid for three seats at $130 each to sit right at the back what a rip off....really a poor and expensive experience

I’ve been here for a number of events. Absolutely love the stadium. Great for the footy, concerts and alike. Will be going again as much as I can. Price for most events is as expected and at least the place feels safe, there’s always security and police around. The venue is tidy and clean, seats and all. The food is always as standard at these places. Service always been quick for me. And I haven’t had to experience queues at the toilet, probably by chance, haha.

my experience with the team leaders there for the Harry Styles concert was terrible!! I have a broken neck with plates and screw and cannot stand for long. So I had a seat with my daughter instead of the floor!!!! I complained several times about people in front of me standing, and jumping very hard. They had no compassion whatsoever . I would have paid for the floor if I wanted to stand for 3 hours!!! in 30c. I am seriously thinking of suing Marvel as my neck is still hurting alot more since the event!! very bad organisation!!

  • Yeet It

The more I visit Marvel the more I see it is a great venue to watch sport, the seating lets you have a good view over the field and having the roof closed keeps the cold out too. It's not the G but that's the point I think. Only downside is the cost of alcohol but that is my choice to drink it. I always take a hip flask to the footy anyway, down the pants where no security guard should be wanding me

They have new technology that takes payment from your card automatically at the food and drinks stores, and you have to scan in AND out at the exits if you want to go out for a smoke at half time. The whole thing seemed fairly buggy and didn't work well. We were left standing at the exit with 3 staff unable to help us, as the machine kept saying 'Not prohibited to exit...' Otherwise the game we saw was entertaining and the lights and sound system were really cool

Paul McCartney Concert.....what can I say?The organisation was great. Minimal delay to get through security easy access to seating and lavatory access easy. Plenty of food and refreshment outlets Slight niggle but more about attendees drifting in right to the start of the concert. Well handed despite that. Seats gave good views of an awesome concert.

It was a great venue, fully accessible. I have not been there since the renovations were done but it looks good. I feel from wherever you are seated you can see the stage. The sound even with the roof open was good. Lots of facilities, food and drink, it was expensive but all venues charge heaps if you want to eat. Venue staff were nice too and organised.

Great concert viewing, however was terrible to get in to the stadium with long queues and no staff outside the venue for information. Only one ticket reader which a fellow concert goer had to walk to the front on the queue to find out. People in the queue also had to manage those in the queue as there was no barriers or staff. Paul McCartney was great but a shame that you had to rush to your seat once in due to poor crowd management.

  • pastelsparkles

We come here a lot for different artists. Most recently we were here for Paul McCartney and it was the first time at the venue where we’ve seen the roof on top of the venue. Definitely liked that vibe better than when we saw Harry Styles earlier in the year with no roof. Lots of easy access to getting to higher levels. Lots of bathrooms.

So far it's been ok I mean security allows people to vape inside , the guards seems to not wear uniform properly I think the sensory rooms are great I do recommend that marvel makes a area for people who are disabled and disability to have a area allocated then just the few seats and spaces it's not enough anymore and the big concrete on level 3 needs to go alot of people don't sit there it restricts the view

  • Ross Morley

A very large stadium for concerts . The seating provided was very uncomfortable after a while hard on the backside. I also thought the sound system could have been a little bit louder as with such a large area the volume seems to wash away but still a great auditorium and the security staff were efficient but friendly.

Marvel Stadium is an absolute gem in Melbourne. Its prime location makes it easily accessible, whether you're arriving by public transport or driving. The stadium's modern facilities enhance the overall experience. A must visit for a sports event (AFL) or a concert, you're in for a treat.

The stadium looks okay in itself, but the acoustics for concerts is terrible. We went to see U2 a few years ago, and having been to several other U2 concerts elsewhere with no issues, the band was clearly too powerful for this stadium. The music reverberated badly towards the back. This place is not the best option for a concert of this nature.

  • Mohamed El-Emary (PhatGeeZ)

Marvel Stadium is an excellent venue for both sports and entertainment. Great for soccer matches and concerts. Facilities are top notch with multiple entries and a convenient location to get to from the CBD by train or car. They have their own carpark which you can park right on site and just take the elevator up to your seating level.

  • Graeme S

Watched the All Blacks versus Australia on the 15 of September 2022 which was amazing. The atmosphere can be amazing when the crowds get going. The stadium is well located in the city and it is close to the Southern Cross railway station so easy to get there. The food is not bad and the beer offering is limited. Worth a trip.

  • Abdullah

Attending a match at Marvel Stadium was an incredible experience! The stadium is huge and impressive, and the atmosphere was electric! The staff are friendly and helpful, and the facilities are top-notch. I had a great view from my seat and the food was delicious. Highly recommend Marvel Stadium for any sports fan!

  • Pr3m

Great stadium. Under the roof on a cold winter night was a pleasant experience. Big screens to watch the replay for those important missed moments. Pregame entertainment are a treat. The entry and exit are a breeze and fuss free.

Attended a corporate function and it's an extremely impressive venue. You can feel the electricity there and great spaces for events. Service was great and food was to a high standard. Issues with the plumbing in the toilets, and it is cold in winter even in the inside spaces.

There is nothing better than watching the footy at Marvel stadium under a closed roof on a very cold Melbourne evening. This stadium is in a great location in Docklands and easily accessible via public transport. Facilities and food/drinks are great and reasonably priced for a sporting venue. More

  • S L

Great stadium, covered with the roof and public transport is accessible. Food prices/quality is good, just needs some escalators for the higher levels and better parking facilities (they always seem to be unavailable for the AFL even with games that are not blockbusters). Go the saints!

  • MazCal

Give me a stadium with a roof any day… Keeping you warmer (closed) in winter & fresher (open) on those warm summer nights. Marvel has a great footy atmosphere, great for concerts & games. Great facilities, easy parking, close to train station & very good location in the Docklands.

  • Xine1988

Didn't open doors when it was spose to. My mum (60+) and I had to wait in direct sun (in queue) for over an hour. Otherwise, great venue. Saw RHCP 9/2/23. Toilet/food queue moved surprisingly fast! Looking forward to returning next year for PINK . …

I seen the rugby here for the first time in a private box, the rugby was good even though Melb Storm lost the food and service was outstanding. I have been to AMMI Stadium in a private box but no where near the same quality of food or service …

  • Andrew Murphy

Easy to access the stadium and leave. Good location. We watched NRL here and wasn’t an ideal stadium for that sport. Lacking atmosphere and seated very far away from action. I like the idea of the roof over the stadium for time of bad weather.

  • Faiz Khan
