We got three takeaways from here, and food was consistently great each time! The butter chicken and palak chicken were really tasty and flavourful. Palak chicken was mild enough to feed little kids but the butter chicken no so much. Curries have a good meat to curry ratio, naan and rice were of generous size. The biriyani is one of their star items, while it's not quite hyderabadi dum biriyani, but it's really tasty. This is definitely our new favourite Indian takeaway place in Ringwood/Croydon area. Wait time for pickup were reasonable and service was great. The chef is from Kerala and I really hope we get to see some traditional Keralan food on the menu soon.

I am not a person to post reviews when something is average or good. I post it when either things are exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. And this restaurant is unfortunately extremely bad. Order malai tikka and was delivered something floating in water. Gave a call to the restaurant and they tried to teach me that the liquid is yoghurt and marinate. Its a tandoor/grilled item. Why exactly will it be floating in any sort of liquid is beyond me. They said they will replace it and then delivered me after 20 mins and again it was the same, even after discussing this with them. Sent both packs back with the delivery guy and told him that I dont need any refund. Imagine placing a food order, waiting around 1.5 hrs and its not even edible. You need to fire the chef who thinks that this abomination is malai tikka.

Recently moved into the area & was looking for my new "Go To" Indian Takeaway... unfortunately it won't be Masala Kitchen - ordered the Onion Bhaji, which was delicious (and the reason for the 3 stars) and a Beef Vindaloo - the spice (heat) was spot on but had a weird flavour - I can't put my finger on it... just odd. Anyway, that is enough for me to continue my search - Indian Lounge ( a little further away) makes this dish perfectly (for my taste) - was hoping for something a little closer though.

One of the best Indian takeaway restaurants in the area! Price wise it’s not expensive but the foods quality is not compromised. Very tasty and delicious. Their biryani and goat curry is highly recommended, also the noodles with prawn! Yum!!! 10/10

Just tried this as a delivery meal and it was absolutely delicious. Best lamb Rogan Josh I have had in years, great level of spice that you don't often find. Flavour was clean, tangy, spicy. I'm on a keto diet so no rice or naan to compliment it (for me at least) but on its own it was 10/10 Will definitely be back

Always liked the food from the place but did a mistake of choosing the delivery option from the website!!!! My only suggestion to Masala Kitchen; Please remove the option of delivery from your website. If food takes 1.5 to 2 hrs to be delivered, why is this even the option!!!!

We had never been here before but had heard wonderful things about the quality of meals and thought we would go. Lamb curry was full to the brim of tender meat as was our chicken. I would recommend going in to order, pay cash, and there is a 5% discount. Lovely family business and we will be back.
