Alhamdulillah my job has allowed me to pray at many masjids all over New York City but this was the only masjid that made me feel insulted. I went around 6:50 pm to pray isha because I assumed isha will be around that time since most masjid do iqamah for isha jamah around 7-8 pm. So I walk up to the masjid and as soon I opened the door an older person was there, I said salam but without replying he closed the door by force while I had the door open with my hand. I kept saying brother I can not pray ? Then another mussalih came out I asked him brother I can’t pray here ? He said they finished prayer I said I can’t pray by myself? but he said they are about to close. Mind you inside the masjid were still a good amount of people still. They could have told me you can just pray the fardh which would have taken 5-6 mins maybe. May allah grant knowledge to the management of this masjid and be more tolerant towards people who come here to pray.

Honestly the imam is soooo extremist and bigot . He inspires hatred . Bad manner . Hatful speech . As a Muslim he made me hate Islam instead of loving it . but u know what I knew that islam not the way he teaches . islam is a way far from his hatred islam is about mercy and spreading love and unity and equality and fear its not (takfeer) it's not being extremely hater and make everything haram it's not like that . Even the way when he tries to advise you it's full with ruggedness. Where is the prophet mohamd's love I couldn't see any kind of love on that guy . I'm not insulting nobody but truth must be spoken . So i hope that no body get mad of truth . If someone can help and tell him to change his way and be more open mind and tell him to not let bigotry control him .. Peace be upon all Muslims

Assalamu Alayikum! The imam of this mosque is a fake "Salafi" who only pays attention to your feet when you stand up for prayer. He misinterprets the hadith by himself. Four Madhhab scholars like to say that the feet should touch each other. In the "Hadith" narrated by Imam Bukhari, there is a place called lower legs, knees, and shoulders. If we interpret the hadith superficially, a very ugly situation will arise, and there will be discord among the ummah. Scholars of hadith scholars of Ahle sunna wal jama'ah did not interpret this hadith in this way, may God bless you. Imam please don't create conspiracy between people.

They don't allow women to pray. My husband and I were in the area and saw this masjid on Google maps. It was completely empty when we came in so we prayed. By the time we were done with our fard an old man came up to my husband and told me it's only for men and I shouldn't be here. When my husband told him that we're not from this area and we just came to not miss our prayer, he said I should pray outside or at home. It's funny how non Muslim restaurants and places will give us space to pray but our own Muslim Prayer places would rather let women pray outside.

If one is a Muslim, and one certain individual or group "makes you hate Islaam", then your faith, conviction, and knowledge of your Rabb and His Messenger was very deficient from the very beginning...or even worse; not there at all. If you are a Muslim, repent for your sins daily, seek knowledge, ; the which comes from Allah, His Messenger, and his Companions, and refrain from hating what is authentic.... Otherwise, you will turn into a kaafir. And may Allah protect us from such.

A sign outside said the sisters space isn’t ready yet but I see a review on here from 2 months ago that another woman had a hard time praying there so Allah knows when or if their sisters space will ever be ready. I came to pray maghrib before I caught my train but was told to go to another mosque 10-15 minutes away (Google Maps says that mosque was actually 25 minutes away). All this because I am a woman. Such discriminatory behavior. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Ignore other ignorant reviews from ignorant ppl. Some muslims they think based on total ignorance that Islam is what they believe, and practicing Islam is what they do! If you can not practice Islam as a whole (even the difficult aspects like waking up at 4:30 am everyday to pray Fajur) don't say that those who practice the whole islam are extremists!! You are the lazy and they are the norm. Imam is very knowledgeable.

New York did not see a mosque more committed to the Sunnah and the book of Allah then Masjid Al-Imam Al-Albani. very clean, calm and amazing imam ( very knowledgeable) heads the mosque. long years and mercy of Allah to those who created and cares for mosque. BarakAllohu fiqum jamian my beloved muslim brothers. May Allah have mercy to imam Al-Albani rahimahullah. Ameen!!!

Best Masjid in Brooklyn. Purely on the aqeedah and manhaj of prophet ﷺ , Sahaba and the as salaf saleh of this ummah. Sheikh gives lessons every day after Maghrib salah until Isha. Also has a English translation for brothers that don’t speak arabic. May Allah keep the imam steadfast upon haqq. Ameen

One of the best Masjids in the United States. Why because they stick to the Quran and Sunnah. The shiekh is an intelligent brother who has great knowledge and will answer any question you pose. Doesn't give his opinion only what's in the Quran and Sunnah. Alhamdulillah for this Masjid.

Masha Allah Tabarak Allah Very small but peaceful and beautiful mosque. May Allah blesses whoever participated in building it and manage it. I came here in a super hot day to pray Dhohr prayer while the masjid has a very cool temperature and welcoming! Alhamdulilah

Poor treatment of people just coming to make Salah but are not an official member of the Masjid or Congregation. Their youth need training on how to interact with the public when serving in a Host/Security capacity CPR: Courtesy, Professionalism & RESPECT

Alhamdulliah they are upon the Haqq! Quran and Sunnah. The way of the Salaf uf Salih. Bi’itnillah I will come again. “My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication” (Quran 14:40) Ameen.

May the Most High, the Most Near bless all the brothers of this masjid and all the brother who establish their prayers in the masajid. They are the best places on Earth, I hope all of them will be filled. They had dars after maghrib this Sunday.

Very crowded place during Jummah, and the Khutbah is in Arabic. What about people who don't understand Arabic? My job brings me to this area and if I had the option to avoid this place I would, but nothing close by my office unfortunately!!

Everything there is great except of the imam. He acts like the masjid is his own house but he forgot that's the house of Allah and he should respect the place and the people. The imam is very stubborn, arrogant, and disrespectful.

One of a handful of Masajids in the city that teaches pure Islam according to the Quran and the Sunnah. Without the dilutions of the political parties and modern opinion thinkers that only wish to destroy islam.

This masjid is truly a blessing from Allah. Classes are offered daily in Arabic (they have a translator) after Maghrib (except Friday). If you love the Sunnah then visit this masjid.

This is not a mosque, just another Arabic Temple,they did not allow me to pray there just because of being Shia,zero tolerance and no unity,I pray GOD to save Islam from them.

Place is small but it's a great environment and brothers are very well respected there. Parking is easy to find. Masjd is simply clean and dawah there is pure and stright.

Nice masjid, the dawah is strong and it’s upon Sunnah. Alhamdulillah There are class everyday except Friday, between Maghreb and isha.

Nice masjid For five times prayer Alhamdulillah. They open most of the time Alhamdulillah. Street car parking available.
